Position Overview:
The Bid Writer Assistant plays a key role in researching, drafting, and editing compelling proposals and funding applications for various projects run by Quilombo UK. It offers the flexibility to work independently, with the support of experienced professionals and tailored training where required.
Key Responsibilities:
Proposal & Bid Development:
Research, draft, and edit funding proposals tailored to specific grants, donors, and partners.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant content, project insights, and financial information for bids.
Develop supporting documents and presentations to accompany applications.
Strategic Input & Collaboration:

Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in English, Communications, Business, or related fields.
Experience:

Designated Safeguarding Lead

Role: Unpaid volunteer position
Purpose: To ensure AuDHD UK upholds the highest safeguarding standards, protecting children, young people, and adults at risk. The DSL will oversee safeguarding policies, training, compliance, and case management across the organisation.
The DSL position does not require daily volunteering, but would require timely responses from queries raised by the safeguarding team.
As a Key Staff member within AuDHD UK, the DSL will be required to provide weekly updates to the COO/CEO regarding safeguarding case management of beneficiaries using AuDHD UK services and are expected to be able to ensure the wider safeguarding team feel supported in their roles. Ideal candidates would be free on Wednesdays at 12-1pm to attend our weekly Key Staff meetings, although this is not essential if the right candidate is unavailable during this time.
This role requires an Enhanced Adult DBS - please only apply if you meet the requirements for a DBS check to be carried out (a 5 year UK address history with a maximum of 12 months abroad AND a biometric passport/ID card for an online ID check).

What are we looking for?
The Volunteer Co-ordinators role requires proactive and detail orientated individuals with an organised approach and an interest in supporting small charities. They will have good communication skills. The Volunteer Co-ordinators are responsible for the volunteer aspects of Burning Nights CRPS Support to ensure the smooth running of the charity’s services and ensuring that the volunteers are used optimally.
Our Volunteer Co-ordinators are also responsible for ensuring that suitable volunteers have DBS checks where needed and they are adequately trained to do their role working with our Charity Administrator.

You will join the charity during a challenging period and your expert knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our success. You will have a key role in ensuring we can maintain our support services and become a sustainable charity to allow us to fulfil our aims.

This role is done remotely using Zoom, phone and email. You would be working closely with the volunteers and trustees. However we would have regular updates and remote meetings with the Chair and/or Trustees.

About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the CEO and Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This role will involve working at the heart of the organisation, contributing to both strategic projects and routine administrative tasks.
Initially offered as a voluntary position, this opportunity has the potential to evolve into a salaried role as the organisation continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the CEO and Operations Manager.
Assist with coordinating projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables achieved.
Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation to support efficient workflows.
Help track budgets, invoices, and expenses in coordination with the Operations Manager.
Support meeting preparation, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
