As we continue to grow nationally and internationally, we are seeking a Volunteer Central Operations Director to create structure, accountability, and operational excellence across all volunteer departments.
Job Purpose
The Volunteer Central Operations Director serves as the operational backbone of the organisation, ensuring departments, projects, and volunteer teams work efficiently, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable outcomes.
The role oversees project delivery, performance monitoring, reporting systems, KPI tracking, volunteer accountability, and cross-department coordination, helping turn organisational vision into effective execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate organisational operations across all volunteer departments.
- Manage the Central Operations Team, including Analysts, Coordinators, and Assistants.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and objectives are achieved.
- Monitor organisational performance, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement solutions.
- Establish accountability systems, workflows, reporting processes, and operational procedures.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards, departmental scorecards, and performance reports.
- Track volunteer engagement, project progress, fundraising outcomes, and organisational impact.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between departments.
- Lead operational meetings and support monthly performance reviews.
- Produce reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Support implementation of organisational priorities and strategic initiatives.
- Mentor department leaders and promote volunteer engagement, wellbeing, and retention.
- Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Experience leading teams, projects, programmes, or organisational operations.
- Strong project management, organisational, and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Experience developing systems, processes, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience building stakeholder relationships and facilitating collaboration.
- Ability to motivate, support, and manage volunteers and team leaders.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently within a remote environment.
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Airtable, Notion, Slack, and Teams.
- Experience in charities, CICs, volunteer-led organisations, operations management, programme management, or community development is desirable.
- Understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-led, or social impact organisations is beneficial.

Director of Finance & Administration
Role Purpose
Lead GSI's financial and administrative operations by ensuring sound financial management, strong governance, regulatory compliance, and efficient organizational systems. The Director will provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team while safeguarding the organization's resources and supporting sustainable growth across GSI's seven strategic pillars.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
1. Financial Strategy & Planning
Responsibilities
- Lead GSI's financial planning, budgeting, and sustainability strategy.
- Advise leadership on financial performance and resource allocation.
Key Deliverables
- Prepare the annual organizational budget.
- Present quarterly financial performance reports to leadership.
- Develop an annual financial sustainability plan.
2. Financial Management & Reporting
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, cash flow, financial reporting, and budget monitoring.
- Ensure accurate financial records and responsible use of resources.
Key Deliverables
- Produce monthly financial reports.
- Monitor departmental budgets and recommend corrective actions where needed.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
3. Grant Finance & Compliance
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management of grants, donor-funded projects, and sponsorships.
- Ensure compliance with donor requirements and financial policies.
Key Deliverables
- Submit 100% of donor financial reports on time.
- Support preparation of project budgets for funding proposals.
- Monitor grant expenditure and compliance throughout project implementation.
4. Administration & Operational Support
Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement, contracts, and administrative systems that support organizational operations.
- Promote efficient and cost-effective business processes.
Key Deliverables
- Review procurement and administrative procedures annually.
- Ensure organizational assets and contracts are properly managed.
- Support operational planning across departments.
5. Governance, Risk & Audit
Responsibilities
- Strengthen financial controls, manage financial risk, and coordinate audit activities.
- Support compliance with nonprofit regulations and organizational policies.
Key Deliverables
- Coordinate the annual external audit.
- Maintain and review financial policies and internal controls.
- Implement audit recommendations within agreed timelines.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will be measured by:
- Timely delivery of budgets and financial reports.
- Budget accuracy and financial performance.
- Compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.
- Successful completion of annual audits.
- Effective cash flow and financial risk management.
- Efficiency of procurement and administrative systems.
Role Impact
The Director of Finance & Administration ensures GSI remains financially sustainable, transparent, and accountable. Through effective financial stewardship, strong governance, and efficient operational systems, the role enables the organization to maximize its resources, build donor confidence, and deliver lasting impact across all seven strategic pillars.
- Master's degree (MBA, MPA, MSc Finance, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
Professional Certifications
One or more of the following is highly desirable:
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)
- CMA (Certified Management Accountant)
- CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
- CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, grants management, administration, or nonprofit operations.
- At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Experience with donor-funded projects, international NGOs, foundations, or development organizations is highly desirable.

Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Business Process Automation Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our intelligent automation initiatives. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations and IT, ensuring that automation projects align with organizational goals and meet deliverable timelines. You will drive digital transformation by turning complex manual processes into streamlined, automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline & Intake Management: Oversee the intake process for automation requests. Assess technical feasibility, calculate projected ROI, and maintain a prioritized project pipeline that balances quick wins with high-value strategic initiatives.
- End-to-End Delivery: Lead project planning, scoping, and execution. Guide solutions through the full cycle, ensuring a smooth transition from proof-of-concept (PoC) to production deployment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with process owners and executive leadership to define requirements, document as-is/to-be processes, and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor a cross-functional team of automation developers, business analysts, and QA testers.
- Governance & Standardization: Ensure all automation solutions comply with IT governance, security protocols, and audit requirements. Enforce coding standards, reusable component development, and robust documentation.
- Performance Tracking: Define and monitor SLAs for end-to-end automation support. Conduct post-implementation reviews to validate business benefits and optimize future delivery methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical project or delivery management.
