ABOUT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FOUNDATION
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the charitable arm of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Using the power of sport, we work with local communities to improve physical health, mental wellbeing, education, and employment outcomes.

Through our Health & Wellbeing programmes, including Making Sport a Daily Habit (MSADH), we support adults who may be inactive, face health inequalities, or live with long-term health conditions to move more, feel better, and connect with others. PURPOSE OF THE VOLUNTEER ROLE
As a Volunteer Health & Sport Coach, you will support the delivery of inclusive and enjoyable physical activity sessions that help adults build confidence, routine, and enjoyment in being active.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys encouraging others and creating welcoming spaces, particularly for people who may feel nervous or unsure about physical activity. You do not need to be an expert athlete — enthusiasm, empathy, and a supportive attitude are what matter most.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Support the practical delivery of inclusive physical activity and sport sessions as part of MSADH.
• Assist with session set-up, delivery support, and pack-down across community venues.
• Encourage participants to take part at their own pace and adapt activities where appropriate.
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment that supports confidence, enjoyment, and inclusion.
• Work alongside Foundation staff and other volunteers to support smooth session delivery.
• Share relevant feedback or observations with the Project Coordinator when required.
• Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and risk assessment procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Volunteers supporting the practical delivery of physical activity sessions may be required to hold a minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (or an equivalent accredited coaching or fitness qualification).
• Volunteers supporting sessions in a non-delivery or administrative capacity are not required to hold this qualification and will be supervised by qualified Foundation staff.
• All volunteers must be willing to complete required training and follow Foundation policies and procedures.

We support young people who face significant barriers due to vision impairment combined with additional disabilities, helping each individual follow their own pathway towards independence and fulfilment.

We’re now looking for a Volunteer Trustee with strong experience in special education to help guide and strengthen our specialist FE College.

What the role involves

In addition to the standard responsibilities of a trustee, you will:

• Focus on the delivery and development of post-16 education for learners with vision impairment and complex needs

• Scrutinise the quality of teaching and learning

• Provide constructive challenge and professional insight as part of our Education Advisory Committee

• Work closely with our College Principal to champion high-quality, person-centred education

Our Board meets seven times a year, with optional invitations to events and celebrations. Trustees are encouraged to attend in person, though online attendance is possible where needed. Travel expenses are covered, and overnight accommodation can be arranged for trustees living outside Devon.

Forward Leeds is the alcohol and drug service in Leeds for adults, young people and families. Forward Leeds is delivered by 4 services in partnership, led by Waythrough.

This exciting volunteer role would suit someone with an empathetic, non-judgmental attitude who can build strong working relationships with others. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands on experience in a drug and alcohol service and put your passion for supporting and advocating for vulnerable people to great use. 

The role:

This role will support service users who are experiencing co-occurring mental health and addiction (COMHAD) issues. The COMHAD team provide specialist care for service users with mental health and addiction support needs.

Tasks may include:

• Provide support for clients throughout their recovery journey 
• Provide support for clients with any unmet needs (health, housing, benefits, criminal justice, for example) 
• Provide suitable emotional support for clients
• Support staff with providing urine tests for clients
• Asist with writing up case notes 
• To develop and knowledge and understanding of an individuals’ recovery plan, and how to collaboratively create one.
• Adhere to risk management, health and safety guidelines and any relevant policies relating to the role
• Help to complete comprehensive assessments & any other relevant paperwork
• Potential to work up to recording information on SystmOne (our internal system) and co-working on a caseload
• Supporting staff with admin responsibilities such as phoning GPs, making pre-assessment phone calls with clients, phone check ins between assessments, and contacting disengaged clients.
• Potential to support staff with home visits
• Discussing blood born virus (BBV) testing with clients and discussing harm reduction advice such as naloxone kits
• Using SystmOne to record and update service users’ information

Training: Prior to start date, a volunteer is required to attend the one-day induction workshop offered online or in person. Following start date, volunteers have access to our training platform, workday, and may be asked to complete several training modules applicable to their role within their first 3 months.

Our housing association members provide homes for around six million people and are driven by a social purpose: providing good quality housing that people can afford.

We support our members to deliver that social purpose, with ambitious work that leads to positive change, and we are looking for board members who are committed to helping us achieve this.

We have a vacant independent board member position and are looking to appoint to this post with a start date in September 2026.

Our board members come from both within and outside of the social housing sector, and we have a number of independent board members who bring a range of more diverse experiences.

Commitment:
Board meetings will be a mixture of in-person meetings, generally held in central London and virtual video conference calls. There may be occasional national travel, reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.

In addition to Board meetings, each Board member also sits on one of NHF’s sub-committees, either our Audit and Risk Management Committee or our Nominations, Remuneration and Governance Committee. The total time commitment from Board members is approximately six days a year.

The Head of Department (Legal) oversees a team of dedicated legal professionals and graduates who operate in a capacity similar to paralegals. You will bridge the gap between Directors and the legal team, turning high-level objectives into actionable legal support plans while ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and social justice advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: Developing and managing the legal department’s roadmap to support Quilombo UK’s social justice initiatives.

• Team Supervision: Overseeing the work of legal graduates, many of whom are working towards their LLM (Master of Laws), ensuring their contributions are technically sound and ethically grounded.

• Departmental Leadership: Coaching the legal team to maintain 100% project visibility and ensuring all work meets the rigorous standards required for future SRA accreditation.

• Social Justice Advocacy: Managing caseloads and research projects that tackle systemic inequalities and discrimination within the community.

• Operational Control: Maintaining 100% visibility of all legal tasks via project management tools and providing weekly reports to Directors on risks, progress, and Work in Progress (WIP).

Financial Incentives

Requirements

• A strong legal background (GDL, or equivalent) with a deep commitment to social justice.

• Experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally overseeing paralegals or junior legal researchers.

• A clear understanding of the SRA regulatory framework and the requirements for Qualifying Work Experience (QWE).

• Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

• This is a 100% remote-only position.

Go Beyond are a national UK charity giving children who have been bereaved, abused or bullied, who are living in poverty or caring for loved ones the chance to escape their worries and pressures through free breaks in the countryside. We need volunteers to help us deliver fun, creative and adventurous activities throughout the year.

Go Beyond’s centres in Essex, the Cornish coastline, and on the edge of the Peak District are where vulnerable young people facing various challenges in their life come for a week of freedom and fun. Running Monday-Friday throughout the year, our breaks give children and young people the chance for time away from the worries of their everyday life, to make friends, try new things, build confidence, and ultimately go home inspired by what the world can offer them and what they, in turn, can offer the world.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

As a breaks volunteer, you will be part of a team, including trained Break Leaders, and will support by being an extra pair of eyes and ears, and a helping hand where needed. You will spend time with the young people attending Go Beyond and help ensure they have a positive week full of experiences and memories that will last a lifetime!

Full training and support will be given throughout. We have a wide variety of volunteer roles available and key responsibilities can include:

• Helping the Break Leaders with day-to-day tasks, such as setting up activities and keeping the centre tidy
• Assisting at mealtimes with preparing, serving, and cleaning
• Leading planned activities based on your skills with support from Break Leaders (such as baking, sports games, gardening, arts and crafts etc.)
• Capturing photos of special moments for the young people (using Go Beyond cameras only)
• Accompanying our driver to collect or drop off groups and supervise behaviour on the buses
• To be a positive role model and lead by example at all times
• To be encouraging and supportive to the young people and take an interest in each child
• To take part in the activities alongside the young people
• To be aware of boundaries and know when it is important to enforce these
• To inform the Break Leaders of any issues or concerns you have relating to the young people or the break experience
• To contribute to personalised messages which the young people receive in their goody bags as a lasting memory of their Go Beyond break
• To read, sign and ensure Safeguarding and Health and Safety Policies and Reporting Procedures are followed, and contribute to Go Beyond Hazard Analysis Critical Control Principles, Risk Assessment and Quality Assurance processes.

And now, we’re looking for a Programme Manager to lead and develop our Life Coaching Programme — a powerful, supportive journey that helps men gain clarity, confidence, and direction.

What You’ll Lead

As our Programme Manager, you will:

• Oversee the full delivery of the Life Coaching Programme

• Support participants through their coaching journey, ensuring they feel guided and encouraged

• Work closely with volunteer coaches to coordinate sessions and maintain quality

• Help refine coaching materials, structure, and participant experience

• Track engagement, progress, and outcomes to improve the programme over time

• Create a warm, stigma‑free environment where men feel safe to grow

• Help build a movement that changes the way men experience personal development in this country
