As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported.

• following policies and guidelines and ensuring licences and permits are obtained for events

Time expectation

Our fundraising team leaders usually spend three to four hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.

The Role

As Mission Funding Executive, you will lead resource mobilisation for Project Yananai in UK/Global, ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of our programmes. As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will shape strategy, secure diverse funding streams, and build strong donor and partner relationships to power our mission.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a national fundraising and resource mobilisation strategy aligned with organisational goals.

• Contribute to strategic planning and leadership as part of the Senior Management Team.

Donor & Partner Engagement

• Build and manage relationships with donors, corporates, foundations, and government partners.

• Represent the organisation at meetings, events, and networking opportunities.

• Lead donor stewardship, retention, and engagement activities.

Proposal Development & Reporting

• Oversee high-quality proposals, grant applications, and concept notes.

• Ensure timely, accurate donor reporting (financial and narrative).

• Maintain clear records of funding agreements and requirements.

Innovation & Opportunity Development

• Identify new funding opportunities, including innovative financing models.

• Work with communications and programme teams to develop compelling cases for support.

Financial Planning & Compliance

• Collaborate on budgeting and monitor grant expenditure.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or resource mobilisation within non-profit, NGO, or mission-driven environments.

• Demonstrated success securing funding from diverse sources (institutional, corporate, foundation, government).

• Strong experience in proposal development, grant management, and donor reporting.

• Experience contributing to senior leadership or management teams.

• Relevant degree in fundraising, development, business, social sciences, or related field.

About Quilombo UK

Quilombo UK is a social justice organisation dedicated to inspiring individuals to "See, Think, Behave and Speak Differently" about equality, diversity, and inclusion. Role Purpose

The Head of Department (Legal) oversees a team of dedicated legal professionals and graduates who operate in a capacity similar to paralegals. You will bridge the gap between Directors and the legal team, turning high-level objectives into actionable legal support plans while ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and social justice advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Oversight: Developing and managing the legal department’s roadmap to support Quilombo UK’s social justice initiatives.

• Team Supervision: Overseeing the work of legal graduates, many of whom are working towards their LLM (Master of Laws), ensuring their contributions are technically sound and ethically grounded.

• Departmental Leadership: Coaching the legal team to maintain 100% project visibility and ensuring all work meets the rigorous standards required for future SRA accreditation.

• Social Justice Advocacy: Managing caseloads and research projects that tackle systemic inequalities and discrimination within the community.

• Operational Control: Maintaining 100% visibility of all legal tasks via project management tools and providing weekly reports to Directors on risks, progress, and Work in Progress (WIP).

What we need from you

This is a highly flexible role, and you can choose how you’d like to get involved. Opportunities include:

• Face-to-face fundraising – organising or helping at fundraising events, running supermarket collections and fundraising stands, and monitoring collection tins
• Online fundraising – setting up online appeals and writing engaging cat case studies to maximise donations
• Marketing and promotion – spreading the word about fundraising activities via social media and local press
• Administration – processing donations, sorting and recording donated goods, and completing Gift Aid paperwork
• Championing our work – helping to develop new fundraising ideas and increasing community engagement
• Photography – capturing images of cats in care, cats we’re helping, fundraising events, and all things Cats Protection

Who we are

Travel Radar provides high quality and relevant industry insight across the Commercial Aviation 

& Air-Travel sectors. Having grown rapidly since 2015, we've gone on to become one of the 

leading providers of Aviation News available online, and in 2023 are expanding to become the 

leading digital hub for all things aviation and air-travel. With an ever-growing remote team of 

over 100 staff, we bring exciting and interesting content 24/7 from around the globe to a reach 

of over 30 million users per month.

Our mission to change how travel is seen, involves showing people how to make their journeys as 

fulfilling as possible through providing the latest news and how to improve journey quality. This 

is supplemented with providing the industry with leading edge visual content, data and job-aggregation. It’s an exciting time to become a part of Travel Radar.

What you’ll be doing

We’re on the lookout for a Social Media Intern to join our high-performance Social Media Team. Some of the things you’ll be doing week-to-week includes:

• Assisting creating creative and engaging social media strategies for our platforms, 

and enacting them day to day

• Managing the day-to-day posting of a particular social media channel such as 

LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok and LinkedIn

• Planning and delivering content across different platforms using scheduling tools 

such as Buffer and/or Meta Business Suite

• Assisting to develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns that 

promote Travel Radar and the brand

• Forming key relationships with influencers in the aviation and air-travel space across 

your particular social media platform

• Managing and facilitating social media communities by responding to social media 

posts and developing discussions, including direct messages and mentions/@’s

• Researching and evaluating the latest trends, techniques and algorithm changes in 

order to find new and better ways of creating and measuring social media activity

What skills and experience you’ll bring to us

Whether you’re an undergraduate looking to gain real-world experience, a graduate looking for their first opportunity, or a seasoned professional wanting to change careers or step into management, we will support you in your journey.

Here are some of the skills that’ll be required, and some that’ll be beneficial to have:
