We’re looking for frontend a web developer to help us create a groundbreaking web app that promotes sustainable living.

You will play a major role in implementing a series of design upgrades to improve the UX and ensure accessibility, browser compatibility and web standards. Your main task will be to convert design ideas into responsive HTML/CSS components.

What are we looking for?

UK based developers with experience of translating design files into clean, semantic HTML/CSS code and establishing component-based architecture. Ability to:

• Convert design mockups/wireframes into responsive HTML/CSS components;
• Build & maintain reusable component libraries to ensure consistency
• Collaborate with designers & developers to translate visual designs into functional code;
• Optimize components for maximum performance & scalability.

Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer to develop, enhance, and manage our website. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing modern, responsive, and accessible websites that effectively communicate brand identity and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Develop: Create a visually appealing and fully functional website aligned with our brand identity.

User Experience (UX): Ensure intuitive navigation, mobile responsiveness, and a seamless user experience.

Content Management: Integrate and manage blog posts, event updates, and resources.

SEO Optimisation: Implement best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.

E-Commerce & Donations: Set up functionality for event ticket sales, fundraising, and online donations.

Security & Maintenance: Ensure site security, regular updates, and performance optimisation.

Requirements

Proven experience in web design and development (portfolio required).

Proficiency in Squarespace, Wix, or other CMS platforms.

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

Experience with SEO, UX/UI design, and mobile responsiveness.

Ability to integrate e-commerce, payment gateways, and donation platforms.

Excellent attention to detail and creativity.

Your role will include: 

• Using tools and digital platforms to create immersive and high-quality videos 
• Enhancing the look and feel of our Teach2030 courses, ensuring all resources follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent, high-quality look 
• Collaborating with course writers to deliver high-quality learning experiences 
• Design and develop a range of digital, downloadable learning resources to support the courses
• Create engaging, interactive course features, including forums and assessments

• Enthusiasm for digital content development in training and education.
• Record in designing high-quality, measurable learning solutions.
