The Chief Allied Healthcare Professional is a volunteer who will report to the Chief Commissioner and be a key part of the National Volunteer Leadership Team, as well as working alongside the Medical Director, Associate Medical Directors and other Chief Clinical Officers (Medical & Nursing).
You will provide support to the Medical Director and be an active member of the Clinical Advisory Group including regular review of the Clinical Governance Framework. You will support assurance of clinical decision-making within SJA as well as provide a clearly identified line of authority through the clinical chain for our volunteer nurses.
As the Senior AHP within the organisation, you will support the development of the AHP cadre within the current scope of practice as well as integrating new developments safely into St John Ambulance. As the Champion for our AHPs, you will be able to establish a rapport such that our AHPs are confident they have a voice at the trustee level Clinical Committee that reports into the Executive Leadership Committee.
As an experienced, clinically active AHP, you will be able to provide high level scrutiny of the Clinical Governance Framework and support the development of best practice.
Above all you will be a role model for AHPs within St John Ambulance and you will promote the organisation with external partners and professional bodies.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue, a well-established and respected charity dedicated to rehoming and caring for unwanted, abandoned, and mistreated animals, is seeking a Clerk to the Board of Trustees. With centres in Dorset and Devon, the charity has been a vital part of the community for decades, offering sanctuary and second chances to animals in need.
As Clerk, you will play a key role in supporting the governance of the charity by ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the Board. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cause that truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute agendas and supporting documentation for Board meetings.
- Accurately record and produce comprehensive minutes of meetings.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
- Provide procedural and constitutional advice to the Board.
- Liaise with the Chair to plan the annual cycle of meetings, topics/attendees and key governance activities.
- Support ad hoc governance tasks as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Clerk to a Board, preferably in the charity or education sector.
- Excellent organisational and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
- Based in Dorset, with the ability to attend six in-person meetings per year in Dorset and one in Devon, as well as virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams.

The Role:
As our Director of Corporate Partnerships, you will lead the strategic development and growth of our global portfolio of corporate partnerships. You will identify, secure, and steward high-value, multi-dimensional partnerships that provide financial, technical, and in-kind support to the organisation and its National Management Teams.
With a strong focus on innovation and impact, you will build partnerships that not only generate funding but also deliver technical expertise, capacity building, and shared value across all countries of operation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Partnership Development

Develop and deliver a global corporate partnerships strategy aligned with organisational priorities.

Identify and prioritise partners across sectors and geographies.

Technical Resourcing & Capacity Support

Build partnership models focused on skills transfer, technical expertise, and capacity building.

Relationship Management & Stewardship

What We’re Looking For
Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

10+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships or business development, including 5+ years in senior roles.

Proven success managing high-value, complex partnerships with corporates or foundations.

Strong experience negotiating agreements involving technical support or capacity building.
