About the role
Ubuntu Pathways is seeking a proactive, organised, and mission-driven intern to join our close-knit London office to assist in organising and facilitating our upcoming office move. WORK
The program of your custom project will be tailored to the duration of your stay and your skills and may include the following components:
* Participarte in outreach trips in the community and provide basic needs such as clothing and food.

*Provide educational or health-related support {if you have the right skills}.
*Share daily life with the community and bring joy and connection.
STAY
Volunteers will be accomodated in a hotel/guesthouse near the project site. All basic amenities will be available. Meals can be provided entirely or partially at the project site, upon request.

In the evenings your free to explore the surrounding area and visit surrounding towns or explore nature.

The nearest airport is Entebbe, where you will be met by the project partner.

The opportunity:
Harry’s HAT is entering an important phase of development and the Board of Trustees is seeking a motivated individual to join as Vice Chair of Trustees. This voluntary trustee role supports the Chair of Trustees and the Chief Executive Officer in ensuring strong governance, clear policy development and effective leadership across the charity.
Key responsibilities:
The Vice Chair trustee supports the Chair of Trustees in providing leadership to the Board and maintaining effective governance. Working closely with the Chair, CEO and fellow trustees, the Vice Chair supports strategic direction and ensures trustee decisions reflect the charity’s mission vision and values.
The Vice Chair trustee contributes to the Fundraising and Risk Group ensuring governance and policy considerations inform discussions and decisions. Trustees are expected to attend:
• Six trustee board meetings per year held online.
• Quarterly Fundraising and Risk Group meetings.
• Two one-to-one meetings per year with the Chair of Trustees.
• The AGM and occasional additional trustee meetings.
• Mandatory online training and timely communication.
Skills and experience:
The ideal trustee will have experience of charity governance and trustee leadership. Essential experience includes chairing or supporting a board or committee, understanding trustee legal duties, experience of policy development, strategic awareness and confident communication. Trustees must exercise discretion and confidentiality. DBS clearance is required.
Desirable experience includes previous trustee or Vice Chair roles familiarity with small charity governance and understanding of safeguarding and risk management.
Personal attributes:
Trustees should demonstrate integrity, fairness and impartiality. The Vice Chair trustee must be committed, collaborative and able to build positive working relationships with trustees staff and volunteers.
Term and remuneration:

About the role:
The Volunteer Campaign Manager will support the planning, coordination and delivery of digital campaigns and platform launches that raise awareness, drive engagement and support organisational goals. This role focuses on helping manage campaign timelines, messaging and performance tracking across media and launch activities.
Experience Qualification and Requirements
Essential Technical Competencies:
- Experience supporting or managing digital campaigns, media, marketing initiatives or launch activities (professional, academic, freelance or volunteer).
- Basic understanding of advertising platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads or similar) and campaign structures.
- Experience, or strong familiarity, with campaign planning, timelines and coordination across multiple channels.
- Familiarity with digital tools used for campaign management, collaboration or reporting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly during campaign launches.
Desirable / Can Be Developed:
- Experience or interest in paid digital advertising, growth marketing or campaign launches.
- Awareness of campaign performance metrics and how insights are used to improve results.
- Ability to coordinate campaign timelines and launch activities across teams.

Main Responsibilities/ Key Duties
- Support the planning, setup and coordination of paid digital campaigns and platform or product launches.
- Assist in managing campaign timelines, launch checklists and key milestones to ensure activities are delivered on schedule.
- Work with marketing, communications and technical teams to align messaging, creative assets, targeting and launch requirements.
- Help monitor paid campaign performance, budgets and spend, flagging issues or opportunities for optimisation.
- Collaborate closely with Social media Director, Social Media Analysts and Insights Officer.
- Support basic analysis and reporting on campaign results, using platform insights and analytics tools.
- Report campaign performance to the leadership team.
- Maintain documentation of campaign strategies, budgets and outcomes.
- Assist with audience targeting, creative testing and campaign adjustments based on performance data.
- Ensure campaigns and launch activities follow organisational guidelines, brand standards and data protection requirements.
- Support post-launch reviews to capture feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of future campaigns.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing updates and supporting coordination across teams.

Thurgoland Out of School Club is a small charity that provides childcare to meet the local communities requirements. They offer complete daytime care for infants from the age of 6 weeks old, through to out of school care for children up to the age of 11 years.
TOOSC are a vital and much valued part of the beautiful rural village community in Thurgoland, providing support for families for 50 weeks of the year between 7.30am to 6pm.

The Role
We are looking for someone with financial experience to embrace the role of Trustee (Treasurer) and ensure the sustainability of TOOSC for the village’s families.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Financial management and reporting, ensuring accurate financial records
- Financial oversight - monitoring income and expenditure, and providing quarterly reviews
- Trustee duties and responsibilities – legal compliance, governance and strategic vision
The Person
We are looking for a financial professional with proven experience and a strong understanding of managing financial accounts and governance within the charity, corporate or public sector.
As a Trustee you will be legally responsible for the charity, therefore we are looking for someone who can demonstrate exceptional judgement, integrity and reliability. You must have the ability to provide strategic advice and contribute to long-term planning. An accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA etc.) would be desirable.
You will ideally have knowledge of the Charity Commission’s requirements and charity finance structures, or be willing to learn. A flair for presenting complex financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues and working effectively with the board of trustees is essential.
