Job description

As an Autism Support Plus volunteer you will be there to listen, understand and validate. You’ll help families and autistic adults access the support that best fits their needs, often becoming the first person who understands and acknowledges their experiences.

What you will be doing

  • Conducting structured advisory calls
  • Conducting structured advisory calls Discussing support needs and available services with clients
  • Recording client interactions securely
  • Sending referral confirmation emails
  • Maintaining confidentiality.
  • ‘It was nice to be understood and able to discuss issues without being told I'm wrong! I found the information that was sent very helpful and feel more in control and able to move forward knowing I have the help and support if needed.’
