Summary of Role:

The experienced Salesforce Implementation Specialist will spearhead our transition to Salesforce and its Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) solution. You will be responsible for translating our core organizational workflows—spanning Fundraising, Program Management, and Stakeholder Engagement—into Salesforce's scalable, highly optimized CRM for nonprofits.

What Will You Do?

Following the industry-standard frameworks and Nonprofit Cloud best practices, your core duties will include:

• Meet with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and needs for Solution Community's Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

• Initial configuration and setup of Salesforce NPC, including customizations of standard objects (like Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities), creating Custom Objects and fields, as well as UI page/layout customizations to store and display our unique business data.

• Collaborate with internal teams to translate current data into a scalable, high-integrity Salesforce data schema.

• Set up workflows and automation for diverse revenue streams, including Single Payment Gifts, Recurring Gifts, Matching Gifts, and Inbound Grants, aligning with NPC's native architecture.

• Build out custom fundraising dashboards and campaign reports using the native NPC analytics packages.

• Integrate with third-party platforms and tools as needed to support our newly designed and developed workflows.

• Deliver clear, step-by-step training to both technical administrators and non-technical staff.

• Document all custom configurations, automation, and data dictionaries to ensure the platform's long-term health.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce implementation experience, ideally with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) as a Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, or equivalent proven implementation experience.

We are the Lincs Mid, NE and Lincoln Branch of the RSPCA. Our Branch rehabilitates and re-homes animals rescued by National RSPCA Inspectors, as well as taking in animals from members of the public who can no longer care for them. We have three charity shops as well as other fundraising activity and local partnership to raise funds for our animal care activities.

We are a passionate and ambitious team seeking a new Chair of our Board. We are currently 9 Trustees with a wide range of experience. As Chair, you will lead our monthly committee meetings as well as AGM. We are hands on as a board, with a great team of staff and volunteers who deliver our core activity.

If the Chair role isn't for you, we also have opportunities on our Board to take the lead on our Charity Retail Operations or Health & Safety. We already have Trustees with specific expertise in e.g. HR and finance, and would love you to join us if you have experience in either charity retail management or health & safety.

Events Volunteer - Lancashire (various)

Do you want to raise some money for Shelter, while having fun along the way?

Information about the role

This role involves supporting at a range of events to help raise money and awareness to tackle the housing emergency. It’s a really flexible opportunity. Once you’re signed up, we’ll let you know about upcoming events and tasks, and you can decide which you’d like to do. 

Location: Lancashire (various)

Suggested contribution: It’s up to you! Ideally, you’d help out at least 4-5 times per year, but this is flexible. 

Availability: This is a varied opportunity with events taking place at different times and on different days throughout the year, including evenings and weekends. You can choose the events that best suit your availability.

The National Flood Forum (NFF) supports and empowers people and communities at risk of flooding and helps those who flood to recover from the material and emotional trauma that flooding causes. With 24 years on the ground experience, we are the only national charity dedicated to supporting flood risk communities.

At the NFF, we give emotional and practical help and creating the right package of support for the long-term. Flooding can be a devastating experience with lasting economic, practical and emotional consequences and for many people the recovery process is as traumatic, or even more stressful, than the flood itself.

We pride ourselves on being there at every stage of the flood recovery process, working hand in hand with the people and communities we help. We also provide a powerful and independent voice for these communities, advocating for them with local and national government as well as the insurance industry and other corporate sectors.

We are seeking new Trustees to bring new insights, experience and skills to our Board. As a Trustee, you’ll help ensure the financial sustainability and governance of NFF.

As a Trustee you will have a commitment to supporting our values and approach to supporting communities at risk or who have flooded and you will advocate and be an ambassador for our work.

We’re especially interested in applications from you if you have:

· Experienced flooding or live with the threat of flooding.

· Fundraising, marketing or communications skills or experience

We particularly welcome applications from women, people from ethnic minority backgrounds, and residents of the North of England, East Anglia, or Wales, who are currently under-represented on our Board.

Why we want you

As a community engagement volunteer you and your fellow branch members will create a range of activities to help spread the word about SSAFA within your community to ensure that that our Armed Forces community know that SSAFA are here to help and that we need the public’s support to continue offering our services.

This role is diverse and allows for you to focus on the areas that you have skills or interests in. The role has flexibility and can work around your other commitments.

Below are some examples of possible activities you can take on or be a part of as a SSAFA Community Engagement Volunteer.

What you will be doing

• Activity Organisers - Love planning? Help coordinate amazing events like charity dinners, carol concerts, and local fairs.
• Event Champions - Be the friendly face of SSAFA! Help at events, chat with visitors, sell merchandise, and spread the word about our work.

• Promoting SSAFA Services - Help provide a warm, welcoming presence at Veterans Breakfast clubs, cafes or hubs - offering information about SSAFA services and signposting as appropriate.
• SSAFA Storytellers -Deliver engaging talks to organisations and groups, sharing SSAFA’s incredible history and mission.
• Community Connectors - Collaborating with the Community Engagement Manager to establish a local network, promote SSAFA's services, and respond to community opportunities such as gardening projects.
• Fundraising Heroes - Whether it’s rallying local businesses, organising events, or getting creative with unique fundraising ideas, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping SSAFA’s support going strong.
• Administrators - Are you detail-oriented and love keeping things organised? Assist with branch and event administration, manage schedules and branch calendars, and ensure everything runs smoothly currently being undertaken.
