LEGAL OFFICER – EMPLOYMENT LAW
Salary £39,298 per annum
Hours: 35 hours (5 days) Monday – Friday inclusive.
Applications for part-time 28 hours (4 days) a week will also be considered.

Rights of Women is a long established and well-respected national women's charity providing free legal advice to women to help them navigate their way through the legal system and inform them of their rights. Addressing violence against women and girls is a major part of ensuring that women can achieve equality in society. We also work to influence law and policy and provide training to professionals who work with women.
The Role
We are looking for a qualified woman[2] solicitor or barrister or CILEX member with experience of employment harassment and discrimination law to deliver our vital legal services for women as part of our employment law team.
The Legal Officer (Employment Law) is responsible for delivery of Rights of Women’s core services including providing legal advice on our ‘Sexual Harassment at Work’ telephone advice line, delivering training and writing publications. They also contribute to Rights of Women’s policy and influencing work, specifically related to our 'Sexual Harassment at Work’ advice line and employment law and the management of the legal volunteers to the advice line.

Purpose of the Senior Community Fundraising Officer role:
As Senior Community Fundraising Officer, the successful candidate will play an integral role in overseeing all income generation via community fundraising. The purpose of this post is to feed into strategy, providing guidance and direction to ensure that Community Fundraising continues to grow as an area of income and that all Community Fundraisers receive high-quality support and stewardship.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Community Fundraising Officer:

What we are looking for in our Senior Community Fundraising Officer:

At least 2 years’ experience of working in a professional fundraising role.

Experience of managing a portfolio of fundraising events for community fundraising.

Experience of working within a team and individually to achieve success; meeting or exceeding your financial targets.

Demonstrable experience of initiating cross-team working to achieve financial goals.

As Project Support Officer you will support the Northern Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training (such as DBS, references, Food Safety Level 2, First Aid), giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our Yorkshire & The Humber projects to aid development and growth within the region.
Our projects are run by volunteers and supported by Regional Managers, through recruitment and training of volunteers. Your role will be to support the Regional Manager so that they can manage more projects, along with supporting the Regional Manager with expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new volunteers for the region.

About The Hygiene Bank
Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean. It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.
Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In 2022, The Hygiene Bank published groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 3.1 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

Job Description
The Fundraising Officer will be a key member of The Hygiene Bank’s income generation and wider team, with a responsibility to help fulfil the charity’s fundraising plans. The role will support the charity’s Senior Volunteer Experience, Communications and Fundraising Manager and Head of Fundraising, Communications and External Engagement to help raise and grow revenue from a diverse portfolio of supporters across the UK, with a particular focus on maximising funds from trusts, foundations and grant-giving organisations, as we implement our new fundraising strategy.
Responsibilities
· Research and build relationships with new and existing grant-making organisations.
· Write and submit applications to grant-making organisations.
· Keep the pipeline of support and the fundraising database updated.
· Assist with evaluation and monitoring reports and ensure these are of high quality and are submitted on time.
· Support and provide guidance to local projects on the development and submission of grant applications, keeping record of all prospects and monitoring the reporting and performance of local projects based on funding requirements.

About the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. The Humberside ABC service will provide services to anyone affected by crime and as an Engagement Officer you will work alongside our team to enhance the offer we provide by managing volunteers, promoting the service and working with our partners including the police.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Programme Liaison Officer (full-time, fixed-term contract for 18 months, with possibility to extend) will join the expanding Sector Improvement Team. They will provide vital administration, communication and digital liaison and support required to successfully run and deliver the University Mental Health Charter Programme and Award, achieve the Sector Improvement Team’s key objectives, and contribute to the whole charity’s mission and goals. This role will include responding to queries, liaising with assessors, universities and general enquiries. The post holder will be responsible for working with the team to develop and monitor our HUB and digital platforms, for developing regular newsletters and working with colleagues to liaise with the many stakeholders involved in the assessment and programme processes.
Key responsibilities
Liaison support
- Provide effective liaison and administrative support to the Sector Improvement Programme(s), working closely with the Sector Improvement Lead and Programme Managers to ensure thesuccessful delivery of the programmes

Events:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to join The Sleep Charity to lead our trust and grant fundraising. Supporting those that have sleep issues is at the heart of everything we do. With over 40% of the population suffering sleep difficulties, we know that we need to significantly extend our reach. This is a new role that will support us to maximise our impact across the nation.
Until recently writing of bids has been carried out by our CEO and Founder. You will work closely with the senior management team. You will also benefit from line management from our Corporate Partnership Manager who has extensive experience in this field. This is a diverse role that you can really make your own. You need to be a flexible thinker and be excited by new opportunities, developing creative ideas to secure funding. This role is essential to the growth of the charity and requires someone with drive and passion. You need to be excited by new opportunities and have a methodical approach to applications.
You will need you to have excellent communication skills and the ability to research and identify suitable grant opportunities. Enthusiasm is key, we are looking for a solution focused person who can work independently as well as part of a team.
