Operations Director
The ideal candidate
We are looking for a values‑driven operational leader with significant experience in senior operations, systems, or transformation roles. You will bring strong technical capability in designing and embedding systems and processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to produce high‑quality management information for senior leaders and Boards.
You will be an influential communicator who can lead through change, build strong relationships across the organisation, and support others to work in consistent, effective, and collaborative ways. With a strong grasp of governance, risk, compliance, and organisational assurance, you will balance strategic vision with hands‑on delivery. The role
The Operations Director will lead the development, optimisation, and continuous improvement of Action Together’s systems, processes, and organisational infrastructure. Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will co-design, develop, and maintain internal systems and processes that enhance operational delivery and organisational efficiency, ensuring they are fully embedded into day-to-day use with clear ownership, guidance, and effective performance monitoring.
You will oversee core central functions including HR, Communications and Impact, Data Protection and Information Management, and Health & Safety. You will play a key role in internal digital transformation, policy development, risk management, and organisational compliance. You will produce high‑quality management information that supports strategic decision‑making, work closely with Locality Directors to standardise and enhance delivery models. In addition, with reference to our constitution and Scheme of Delegation you will be responsible for supporting governance at Board meetings, and the AGM.

LGBT Foundation is an impactful, vibrant charity with a wide portfolio of well-established services and rapidly developing new initiatives aimed at meeting the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans people.
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to support our volunteers and staff team to have an efficient and enjoyable volunteer programme. You will coordinate volunteer recruitment, social events and training, and as part of ‘Team People’, you will work to support the wider team to ensure volunteers and their supervisors are fully supported and deployed effectively. In addition, part of your role will be to support on a funded project or programme of work for LGBT Foundation (4 hours per week).
The post holder will be responsible for:

Volunteer Recruitment: Coordinating volunteer recruitment and onboarding, including collecting references, carrying out DBS checks and running inductions.

Volunteer Retention and Recognition: Coordinating the volunteer social calendar, training opportunities and end of year survey. Supporting with the planning and delivery of the annual Volunteer Awards.

Management of administration of the volunteer programme: Ensuring volunteer records are accurate and that admin tasks are carried out with a high level of attention to detail.

Support volunteer supervisors: Work closely with staff who supervise volunteers, including coordinating bi-monthly catch-up meetings, training and other support.

Project work: Provide support for Village Heroes for LGBT Foundation 4 hours per week.

TRC Sexual Abuse & Rape Support Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced and committed professional to join our team as our Services & Operations Manager.
Based across our sites in Trafford, you will provide clinical and operational oversight of TRC’s service areas (counselling, ISVA, helpline & digital, and Pathfinder) and provide direct day-to-day service management. You will lead on safeguarding, act as a line of support between the client-facing services and the CEO, line-manage our service coordinators, lead on triage meetings and coordinate TRC's centre.
This job would be ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting survivors of sexual violence, has line-management experience and has case management experience in a specialist support service.

This Role’s Impact:
We are seeking an experienced, relational, and highly organised leader with a strong passion for the issues of mental health, poverty, and social justice that underpin Make Lunch. Working alongside other Church Relationship Leads, this role will train, support, and develop church-based volunteer Make Lunch teams, ensuring they provide effective support and meaningful connection to children, young people, and families in their communities.
With excellent people, communication and training skills, the postholder will nurture positive, growing relationships with volunteer Make Lunch Coordinators, enabling excellent programme leadership at a local level. Operationally astute and confident in bringing constructive challenge, they will ensure all Make Lunch activities are safe and fully compliant. Driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, they will foster a growth mindset among those they support, maximising the impact of Make Lunch both locally and nationally.

We’re looking for a Community Development Co-Ordinator to join the team. You will support the direct delivery of our community services that supports male survivors to access connection and peer support activities.
You’ll play a key role in supporting clients, either through facilitating our core groups like builders’ yard, drop ins etc. Community development team also provide check ins for clients to keep them engaged and connected with the organisation. The team also supports one off project where required.
