Description of role:
- To support customers with higher needs and communication difficulties one-to-one in a group sessions.
- Work alongside our Activities Facilitators to support the delivery of sessions.
Key tasks:
- To work at the individual customer’s pace in a group, ensuring they can take part in sessions (for example cooking, baking, dance).
- Help the individual customer communicate and interact with the team and their peers.
- To help with confidence building by encouraging and empowering customer to engage, be creative and stay safe.
- Ensure that the individual is included in various aspects of sessions, and during breaks and lunchtime.
- Volunteers will not be engaged in “Regulated Activity” as defined by Schedule 4 to the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 (as amended). This includes assisting people with personal or health care, and undertaking activities with children that are not supervised by staff.

Creative Support run six extra care housing services in Tower Hamlets. We support clients with a range of different needs and interests. Role Description
As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital part, in organising and assisting with our fundraising activities. All the proceeds from these activities go directly towards helping care for the pets of those experiencing homelessness. StreetVet are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Assistant to work with the Head of Fundraising to help with varied fundraising/administrative activities.
You will help support StreetVet’s patients and their owners by strengthening StreetVet’s fundraising capability.
What can you expect to be doing?
The volunteer Fundraising Assistant will work with the Head of Fundraising to deliver on the fundraising strategy and plan for StreetVet. There will also be a close working relationship with the marketing team to deliver fundraising events, campaigns and social media posts.
The main responsibilities for this role:
The Fundraising Assistant will work with the Head of Fundraising to provide support to the department on a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:
• Administration and support - provide support to the department on a range of administrative tasks including fundraising enquires (postal, email, online)
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure donations are processed correctly and supporters are thanked
• Ensure the CRM/database is kept accurate and up-to-date/help with reporting as required
• Support the Head of Fundraising with Trusts & Grants to search for/record grant applications and finance information

About the role
After several years of relying on the efforts from our Co-Founders, Trustees and temporary volunteers we are looking to take the next step in our growth journey through the placement of our first longer-term volunteer.
This role will be designed to oversee all marketing and social media activities of the organization, and to provide leadership to a small group of wonderful and talented student volunteers from London based Universities as they complete tactical projects for ParaPride as part of their studies. This will also include supporting Daniele, our Co-Founder and Community Engagement Director, with planning and reporting of their activities to the university.
The leadership you will provide will initially be indirect, with Daniele being ultimately responsible for the students activities, so we expect this to be a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned marketing or social media professional who would like the opportunity to gain team leadership experience.

Advise on how to best grow overall awareness and success of the ParaPride brand.

Oversee the continuous development of our content creation schedule and distribution of engaging, thought provoking and educational content for our media channels, notably LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Provide support and guidance to a small team of student volunteers to develop social media and marketing content that supports the mission, vision and values of ParaPride - directly participating in the creation of content at your discretion.

Ad-hoc creation and distribution of promotional assets for ParaPride events.

Identify and establish potential additional media channels where it is sustainable to do so with the resources available.

Maintain the organisations Brand assets and monitor and advise of their use and ensure consistency with our established tone of voice in written content.

Level of commitment
We are a growing charity and while it is our goal to provide financial compensation for this role in the future, we are unable to initially. Our weekly art class provides space and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities to express themselves through creative activities. The group has diverse interests and needs, and we are looking for a volunteer to join the sessions to support people to get the most out of each sessions.
Your role could include setting up activity areas, working 121 with individuals, or in small groups. The class is led by an experienced tutor, and some members of the group also receive support from their support workers.

Fundraising Volunteer – Office based
We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to support the Fundraising Team
Blesma, The Limbless Veterans is the national charity and membership association for limbless serving and ex-service men and women and their dependants.
We help all wounded servicemen and women who have lost limbs, the use of limbs or eyes, to rebuild their lives by providing rehabilitation activities and welfare support.
We are looking for a Volunteer to help the Fundraising Team with office tasks. You will be providing practical, administrative and research support across the team. We’re a small and friendly team operating at a national level. Your work will help provide excellent donor care to our supporters, as well as assisting with the smooth running of our office and fundraising activities.
By volunteering with us, you will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of volunteering for a charity and will contribute to our work supporting injured veterans and their families.
