Role Description: 

This role sits within our new Men’s Minds project, based in Hounslow. The aim of the service is to improve men’s mental health outcomes by developing a mental health network supported and directed by the voices of its members.

This will be achieved through three service strands: 1) Peer support network, 2) Psychoeducation workshops, addressing common needs of men’s mental health 3) Outreach support to raise awareness of men’s mental health and promote this service. 

The role of the Administrator Volunteer is to support the coordinator with: 

• Meet with Men’s Minds coordinator each week to discuss administrative tasks (online or in person). 

• Respond to general enquiries about the service 

• Respond to weekly emailed invitations for our Service Users and collate the results on a spreadsheet 

• With coordinator oversight, complete onboarding processes and upload to our data management software ‘Views,’ upload data related to 

• With coordinator oversight, collate and present relevant data

We are looking for someone who: 

• To be able to provide a welcoming, authentic, and positive experience for all, being inclusive and embracing diversity 

• Are a non-judgmental and friendly individual who can communicate across different mediums(email, phone etc) 

• To feel comfortable engaging with people with mental health challenges / difficult life experiences, by validating strengths and experiences and using empowering language to overcome negative self-talk 

• Are empathic and understands the stigma / social bias's surrounding mental health 

• Are able to take on any ad hoc admin/support responsibilities

• We will provide volunteers with an induction, training, and ongoing mentoring to support them in the role

Branch Trustee - Marketing and Social Media

RSPCA Milton Keynes & North Bucks Branch

We need volunteers who have expertise in Marketing and Social Media to help us maximise the revenue generated in our charity shops. You will gain new skills and experience as a Branch Trustee whilst enabling us to help more animals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person, with a background in marketing and social media, who could devote their time to volunteer as a trustee for our RSPCA Milton Keynes & North Bucks and support us in boosting our campaigns online. You will be joining a team of 4 trustee's, expanding to 7.

Alongside passing on your expertise, this opportunity will give you the chance to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals and drive the implementation of key initiatives. You will serve on the governing body of the charity and be instrumental, alongside fellow trustees, in the running of the Branch and setting out both the short and long term aims.  

As a minimum, trustees would normally be expected to attend a monthly committee meeting lasting some 2 to 3 hours. However, the commitment may vary depending on whether or not the trustee takes on additional duties.

Primary responsibilities of the Branch Trustee – Marketing and social media

•     Take the lead in assisting the Branch to generate and develop social media strategies to maximise the promotion of animal welfare, rehoming campaigns, fundraising opportunities, and engagement with local supporters.  
• Support the Branch Manager in using social media effectively and working within the social media strategy.
• Support the Branch in ensuring any social media or marketing content is in line with RSPCA brand guidelines.
• Responsible for feeding back key insights and performance markers to the rest of the committee at board meetings.
• Support the Branch in promoting animal welfare campaigns and events through the use of digital media.

Alongside marketing and social media experience, an interest in photography, graphic design, and developing original content to help promote the Branch animals for rehoming and Branch events would be welcomed but is not essential for the role.

• Content Creation: Assist the Project Leader draft engaging text for promotional materials (flyers, social media posts, website content).
• Social Media Support: Help schedule and post content on relevant social media platforms (e.g., Facebook groups, local community pages).
• Community Outreach: Identify local community groups, centres, schools, and organisations that could benefit from our club, and assist with distributing promotional materials.
• Information Gathering: Research relevant online forums, notice boards, and events where we can promote the club.
• Feedback Collection: Assist in gathering testimonials or feedback from members (with appropriate consent) to use in promotional efforts.
• Administrative Support: Help organise and maintain marketing materials and contact lists.

The Great Autistic CIC is looking for a passionate and talented Volunteer Web Designer to join our team! We're a friendly bunch dedicated to supporting the autistic community, and we need your help to make our online presence shine.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Help us create a beautiful and user-friendly website: We want our website to be a welcoming and informative space for everyone.
• Work on exciting projects: You'll get to use your design skills on real projects that make a difference.
• Learn and grow: We're a supportive team, and you'll have the chance to develop your skills and learn new things.
