Job description

North Bristol Advice Centre is recruiting an experienced Money Advice Caseworker to join our busy debt team, delivering high quality debt advice to communities in North Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The post is 28hrs per week, based in our friendly office in Lockleaze a minimum of 2 days per week, and is funded by the Money Advice and Pension Service.

You will support individuals facing financial difficulties, helping them to navigate complex and challenging issues with reliance and compassion. This role requires someone who can manage a high caseload independently while delivering professional, client centered debt advice. An approved intermediary, or the desire to qualify as an intermediary, would be preferred.

North Bristol Advice Centre is an innovative and forward-thinking charity that has been delivering advice support in communities since 1984. We are inclusive, values-driven and prioritise excellence and quality, as well as providing caring and person-centred support. We actively support the wellbeing of our staff with flexible/hybrid working, relaxed dress-code and an active Wellbeing Group, and provide ongoing training and opportunities for professional development.
