Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team in Brent as a Senior Youth Caseworker on a fixed term contract working with young male asylum seekers who are in initial accommodation in contingency hotels.

The Senior Youth Caseworker will be responsible for providing intensive 1-to-1 practical and emotional support to young male refugees and asylum seekers (18 to 25 years old), supporting them to access their full statutory rights and entitlements including to social services support, health care and legal advice. The caseworker will manage their own caseload and work closely with the Youth Welfare Officer and Service Manager to provide holistic wellbeing support to young people, and to monitor and evaluate the service.
