Key Purpose:
To work as part of a team that provide high quality services to farming people that come to RABI for support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality information, advice and guidance in an empathetic and professional manner.
- Conduct a holistic needs assessment for each service user according to their individual circumstances.
- Working with each service user to establish the most appropriate sources of support and agree an action/support plan with them.

- Contribute constructively to the development of the Service Delivery team and function, for the benefit of service users.
- Work constructively and collaboratively to solve problems with the support of colleagues.

Person Specification:
Essential
- Experience providing services to vulnerable service users, listening and supporting in a non-judgemental way.
- Knowledge and insight into state benefits and complementary support services (whether national/local/statutory agencies.)
- Excellent communication skills, being able to establish rapport and build trust quickly.
- The ability to build a practical plan alongside a service user and adapt approach to different circumstances and personalities.
- Knowledge of data protection principles and how to apply them.
- Knowledge or experience of safeguarding best practice.
- Excellent IT software skills and aptitude to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Flexible, resilient and solution focussed working with sensitivity and integrity.

Support Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Worcestershire. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individual to join us in delivering a comprehensive Stroke Recovery Service across the region.
Position: S11158 Stroke Association Support Coordinator
Location: Home-based, Worcestershire, however, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Salary: Circa £17,546 per annum (FTE circa £25,500 per annum)

The Role
Reporting to the Stroke Association Service Delivery Coach, the coordinator will work with the local Health and Social Care services to receive referrals and support stroke survivors and their carers. The Role
The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers whose lives are affected by aphasia, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. About the role:
This is a maternity cover opportunity for a valued role in our Senior Leadership Team. This position is critical to our work in training healthcare professionals to understand how the law applies to practice. You will be delivering our ambitious plans to take our training service to the next level at this critical time, with support of our two brilliant training co-ordinators and a wider team of associate trainers. About You
- You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written to be able to support communities and individuals who would benefit most from energy advice and support.
- You be able to plan and deliver engaging and informative energy support workshops within local communities, tailoring content to meet the diverse needs of attendees.
- Showing empathy and being able to respond positively to change while being able to deal effectively with conflicting priorities will allow to succeed within this role. The service will help customers through their unfair extra costs and additional vulnerability to fuel poverty.
- It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products and are confident user of digital technology demonstrating a positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools. You will be able to track and evaluate the impact of your community sessions and one-to-one interventions, adjusting strategies to improve outreach and support effectiveness.
- You will bring drive and enthusiasm to your role and can demonstrate that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people and their families. - It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products and are confident user of digital technology demonstrating a positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools. You will be able to track and evaluate the impact of your community sessions and one-to-one interventions, adjusting strategies to improve outreach and support effectiveness.
- You will bring drive and enthusiasm to your role and can demonstrate that you care passionately about improving the lives of disabled people and their families. It is desirable that you have a good knowledge of Energy and Utilities advice. If you do not already have the qualification, you will be trained to a Level 3 Award in Energy Awareness.

To lead and manage a team of Community Energy Advisers, delivering high-quality energy support sessions in local communities. The role involves empowering individuals and families through workshops and one-to-one support, with a focus on assisting those facing challenges with their energy needs.
The Community Energy Team Leader will oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of these services, ensuring they provide practical advice, support, and advocacy on energy conservation, switching providers, and accessing grants or benefits.
Fixed term for 2 years, 35 hours per week.
The hours for this role will be varied over shift patterns from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and may also include some Saturdays.
Location: Based at Clockwise Offices, Linley House, Dickinson St, Manchester, M1 4LF.
The role will require travelling in the local area covering Manchester and also the West Midlands and there will be occasional travel to Scope's head office in London. The role also offers remote working around meetings and workshops.
The role

- Leading, managing, and engaging a team of Community Energy Advisers, providing them with support, guidance, and direction to ensure the effective delivery of energy advice and support services.

- Collaborating with local organisations, stakeholders, and community members to identify needs and enhance the reach and impact of energy advice services.
