About the position
Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, an international non-profit organisation tracking the human rights impacts of more than 10,000 companies worldwide, is seeking a Social Media and Digital Content Officer to join our global team.
The successful candidate will be a creative, digital native social media expert who can help to take our social media content to the next level, helping us to reach and influence our most important audiences.
They will be comfortable devising social media content ideas, designing creative assets, writing sharp, engaging social media copy, and helping colleagues around the world to grow their own social media presence.
The position will also play an important role in the success of our digital platform, which is central to everything the organisation does, both creating content and facilitating content creation by colleagues from across our global team.
This role will join the busy and collegiate central Communications Team, as well as working with project team colleagues to help most effectively communicate our research, analysis and key findings on social channels, supporting and amplifying the efforts of our partners on the ground driving respect for human rights in business and fighting to achieve justice and remedies for victims of corporate abuse.
Key Responsibilities
Social media (approx. two thirds of role):
- Social media content: Manage the day-to-day social media comms production and planning, including planning calendars, scheduling and posting
- Asset creation: Design and create compelling social-first assets and copy for channels including LinkedIn, X and Bluesky
- Regional support: Support regional teams in strengthening their own social media content, outreach and engagement, including our Spanish-language channels (candidates are not expected to be Spanish speakers).
- Channel growth: Lead on growing follower numbers and engagement levels for our social media accounts
- Social media strategy: Support Head of Comms on updating and executing the social media elements of the new communications strategy.
- Digital advertising: assisting the Head of Comms on the rollout of digital advertising campaigns.
Monitoring and evaluation:
- KPIs and evaluation: Lead on monitoring and evaluating our social media performance and KPIs.
- Monitoring: Monitoring online conversation for mentions of BHRRC and opportunities for the organisation to react to breaking situations and stories, working with our Media Officer.
Website (approx. one third of role):
- Training and content creation: Becoming a website “super user”, creating content for our website, and leading on support and training for team members on how to add front-end content on the site.
- Digital-first events: Support on the rollout of digital-first events, including leading on logistics and communications for our flagship Mary Robinson series.
Key competencies and attributes
Essential:
Experience: At least three years’ experience in a social media-focused role, with a strong preference for experience working as part of an international team or on international issues and campaigns.
A digital native, who understands how to create compelling content that is social-first in nature.
A track record of developing impactful social media and digital communications content, preferably in the campaigning, policy, advocacy or not-for-profit spaces.
Communications: Excellent understanding of how strategic digital communications can work alongside research and advocacy approaches to achieve change.
Proven ability to communicate complex and sensitive information in an impactful way; understanding of how to tailor content to different audiences, contexts and channels online.
Global focus: This role has a strong regional/international remit and international working experience is strongly preferred.
Content creation: Experience in creating graphic content (in Canva or another graphics program). Experience in creating or editing video content would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Writing for social and the web: Must be able to condense complex information into compelling social-first copy that drives users to meaningful action, and to translate copy into website-appropriate, SEO friendly online copy.
Website content: Experience with website CMS such as Wagtail, Drupal, Wordpress, and creating web pages/content for websites.
Supporting staff: Enthusiasm for supporting colleagues develop compelling digital communications. Experience supporting staff through training or coaching desirable.
Team player: Experience of, and commitment to, working in high-performing teams which are highly collaborative and focused on outcomes. Willingness to provide cover for team members - including occasional, infrequent out of hours work - and share admin jobs. Experience of working with colleagues remotely, and in multicultural and diverse cultures and working environments also desirable.
Desirable:
Digital analytics and other tools: Comfortable using tools such as Google Analytics and on-board social media analytics in e.g. LinkedIn to monitor, evaluate and report on content performance. Experience in using social media scheduling tools is a bonus.
Knowledge of human rights issues: A strong interest in international issues and familiarity with social justice issues desirable.
Languages: Must have exceptional spoken and written English. Additional language(s) desirable (Arabic/ Chinese/ French/ German/ Japanese/ Korean/ Portuguese/ Spanish).
Travel: There may be occasional international travel for information gathering, communications and/or representation.

Main function of job
This is a key role in the Bereavement Support Service. The team provides a wide range of services, including the Helpline, online enquiries, online community, Family Days, and online and printed resources.

1. Proactively engage bereaved families with the support service, respond to bereavement support enquiries and ensure anyone seeking advice and support on bereavement is given a high-quality service in a timely way.

To cover and answer the bereavement support helpline and online enquiries responding within the set guidelines and KPIs for the department.

Ensure any messages on Bereavement Support FB Groups are monitored and advice is given via befrienders where appropriate
To arrange face to face events for bereaved families including family days, York Carol Service and memorial events to an agreed programme.
Work with the Engagement Team around social media bereavement support posts.
2. Respond to all enquiries regarding the Care of the Next Infant (CONI) programme.
Respond to CONI enquiries from families and professionals and pass referrals to the CONI team in a timely way.
Update the CONI spreadsheet on enquiries progress and outcome.
Ensure families are offered Bereavement Support
3 Manage the Befriender programme with the Head of Support and Information and deliver training to befrienders and support befrienders in their role.
Support Befrienders in their work by maintaining regular contact and support, offering advice and guidance when required.
Keep Befriender records up to date
Allocate Befrienders when required, ensuring there is an even spread of work between the befrienders
To collate, finalise and send out the Befriender newsletter on a monthly basis in conjunction with other members of the Team
Plan and deliver befriender training to new and existing befrienders
Support befrienders in their role and deliver regular online catch up sessions.
Help with the organisation, administration of the Befriender Conference and other events, facialitaing sessions and presentations.
Support the administration and preparation of Befriender Training, attend and participate when required and assist with the new befriender digital documents.
5 Ensure the bereavement support services are promoted to bereaved families and professionals working with bereaved families
Assist with the facilitation of Bereaved Families’ Panel and running online sessions.
Keep up to date with the bereavement support world including joining National Bereavement Alliance, Child Bereavement Network and research around grief and bereavement.
Attend events as required to represent the Lullaby Trust’s bereavement support services
6 Ensure the records and services of the department are kept up to date
Ensure bereaved contacts are added and updated on Excel and Raiser’s Edge
Maintain ongoing knowledge and training on the Lullaby Trust’s advice and the scientific knowledge behind this advice
Collate statistics, as required on areas of work within the support services team.

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to raise LMK’s profile and to engage LMK’s stakeholders in our services, campaigns and fundraising efforts by delivering impactful content across all of our online and offline communication channels in alignment with our vision, mission and strategic objectives. - Co-develop LMK’s marketing strategy, leveraging key stakeholder input and action plans to support it

Context and purpose of role
We are looking for a Digital and Website Officer to join our Campaigns and Communications Team. The role holder will take a leading role in digital marketing, optimising our website using a data-led approach, and maintaining our digital asset management system.
Working with colleagues across the Supporter Engagement & Experience division and the wider business, they will also contribute to the development and delivery of marketing activities that deliver against brand and income targets.
They will work to upskill people across the organisation – including volunteers - to achieve greater impact with digital communications.
Key responsibilities
- Website – act as the GB web admin, working in partnership with the Digital Technical team to manage user journeys and ensure content is high quality and search engine optimised in line with the website strategy.
- Digital marketing – Create and implement digital marketing activity in line with the agreed digital strategy and against agreed return on investment targets. Create and implement digital marketing plans to support advocacy and marketing initiatives for our programmes using relevant digital channels for the target audience
- Content development – source / develop content and assets such as case studies, videos, blogs and images to drive engagement across digital channels including the Ramblers app. Ensure all content is of high quality, permissioned and easy for colleagues to find within the digital asset management system.

How are staff supported to work remotely?
VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

This is an exciting new role to both support the coordination of existing ‘leaders in advocacy network’ and to coordinate and lead the project developing a membership body for the group to transition to. The postholder will work with the Advocacy Programme Lead, members of the leader’s network and other key stakeholders to understand what is most needed from a membership/professional body for advocacy providers, develop and launch that offer.
Our nationally recognised advocacy programme seeks to support best practice in the commissioning and delivery of independent advocacy, so that people who draw on advocacy get the support they want and need, in the way they want and need it, when they want and need it.
The role is a 12 month fixed-term contact and there will be a review at the end of 12 months to review the feasibility of continuation of the contract.

One of the key issues we work on is accountability for sexual violence against children in institutions in Latin America, which aims to challenge impunity and improve access to justice for victims and survivors. Combating sexual violence against children globally has been a core part of CRIN’s work for more than a decade, and from this experience we see common challenges across the most systemic and entrenched forms of institutional abuse and exploitation: secrecy, cover-ups, abuse of power, stigma, shame, and impunity.
To successfully challenge this status quo, we have looked at the experiences of countries like Ireland and Australia, which were some of the first countries where survivors mobilised to demand and secure legal reforms to improve access to justice and establish national inquiries into child sexual abuse which prompted other policy reforms. In an effort to support and strengthen similar survivor-led activism elsewhere in the world, since 2019 CRIN has worked alongside grassroots organisations in Latin America led by adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Our focus has been to support their national campaigning that challenges impunity for abuse committed in the region’s Catholic Church, but we have since expanded the scope of our work to cover institutional settings more broadly.
CRIN’s added value in the campaign includes providing much-needed financial support and capacity building, research support, international and legal advocacy and helping to expand partnerships. By working with survivor-led networks, we aim to encourage their development across the region so that governments can no longer ignore their demands for truth, justice, reforms, and reparations.
This is who we are looking for…
We are looking for someone to coordinate the end-to-end delivery of the campaign. The focus of the role is on project and budget management, strategy planning and implementation, and partnership building. But given the generalist nature of campaigning, you may at times conduct advocacy support, media outreach, research and analysis, and event coordination.
You would work alongside the Legal Advocacy and Campaign Coordinator, as well as part of the core project team comprising the Co-Directors and the Legal and Policy Coordinator.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Leading the delivery of CRIN’s campaign supporting grassroots organisations in Latin America to end impunity for child sexual abuse in institutional settings.
● Building and maintaining trust-based partnerships with grassroots survivor-led networks in Latin America, ensuring engagement is anti-colonial, trauma-informed and participatory.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual compensation range for this role is $68,473- $83,689 USD, or £38,203 - £46,692 GBP. At The Humane League, we believe in maintaining a fair and equitable work environment for all employees. Purpose
We are looking for a Senior Programme Officer who will contribute to the effective design and delivery of CBM UK’s development and humanitarian programmes, excellent donor, country team and partners relationships, collecting and applying learning and evidence of impact, and effective collaboration with the fundraising, communications and advocacy functions of the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Within twelve months, the Senior Programme Officer will:
· Be managing a portfolio of projects effectively and efficiently;
· Be a confident user of CBM’s systems for project knowledge management, human resources and operations;
· Have developed strong working relationships with colleagues, partners and donors.
Oversee a portfolio of projects
· Work with the relevant Country Team(s) and partners to ensure delivery of quality projects, to budget, and within appropriate time periods
· Monitor progress on project activities and expenditure against budget, including monitoring visits to the projects (usually on an annual basis)
· Liaise with the donor, where applicable, ensuring that their requirements are met, and negotiating adjustments to grants when needed
· Lead on the production of donor reports, narrative and financial, as well as risk registers, results frameworks, MEAL plans and asset registers, as required
· Lead after action reviews on closing projects, and help ensure that lessons learned are disseminated and applied in future programming
· Collect evidence of impact of the projects
· Carry out due diligence on partner organisations
· Provide support to partners, including organisational strengthening, championing, facilitating links and spotting opportunities.
Support to the Programmes team
· Provide support to inclusion advisory projects on contracting, compliance and administrative tasks.
Cross-Team Collaboration
· Carry out joint actions with colleagues from the fundraising and communications team, including providing information and data from programmes, providing support for their visits to projects, and drafting articles and social media posts on the projects.
· Coordinate with the Supporter Care team, providing assistance in responding to enquiries from supporters and the public
· Joint actions with the Advocacy team, including writing up evidence from projects
· Provide support to the Programme Funding team on proposal development and associated activities, such as reviewing partner assessments and collecting information for compliance requirements
· Give support to Country Teams, as appropriate, including facilitating training, providing input to Country Strategic Plans, and attending Country Coordination Forums
· Participate in CBM Global secretariat activities, including representing CBM UK on working groups and focal point groups, participating in the regular organisation-wide webinars and sitting on recruitment panels when requested
· Represent CBM UK in sector-wide initiatives, such as BOND and the International Disability and Development Consortium.

Myeloma UK is looking for a motivated and highly pro-active Trusts and Grants Officer to join our Philanthropy team within the wider Fundraising directorate. We welcome applications from people with prior experience or transferable skills who want to explore trusts and grants fundraising and/or fundraising within the health sector. The successful candidate will have a passion for writing, excellent organisational, presentation, communication and record-keeping skills, with an ability to understand and interpret financial data. The post holder will need to be self-motivated and a team player, with flexibility and a willingness to develop and expand the role. In this exciting position, you’ll have the opportunity to draft compelling proposals, identify and cultivate relationships with grant making organisations, and secure gifts ranging from £100 to £10,000.
Experience of fundraising from charitable trusts and foundations, building project budgets and the use of the Raisers Edge CRM system as well as knowledge of prospective funders within the trust and foundation and corporate sectors would be advantageous, but not essential.

Myeloma UK has an ambitious plan for income growth. We launched a new organisational strategy in 2024 and will launch our new research strategy in mid-2025. We’re making amazing progress in the research and treatment of myeloma – but we need to go further, faster. This position will play a critical role securing grants of up to £10K from trusts, foundations, and grant funders for a range of innovative and life-changing programmes – including patient and family support, research and advocacy. The role will work closely with the Senior Trusts and Grants Officer, who leads on the medium and large grants programme, and income from pharmaceutical partners.
The post holder will deliver the grant process from start-to-finish including administration, research, and managing and growing a pipeline of small trusts. You will work with colleagues from across the charity to build high quality proposals and develop reports for funders. You will also work directly with funders to understand their priorities and offer excellent stewardship.
