We’re looking for a Community Engagement Officer to help shape the experience of our mentoring community, both online and in person. This is a varied role combining platform administration, user support, community engagement and facilitation, all through a strong community lens.
You’ll support mentors and mentees from the moment they join the platform, offering clear onboarding, responding to queries, and helping maintain a safe and positive online space. You’ll also spend regular time in schools delivering induction sessions, workshops and focus groups, gathering insights that help us improve our programmes and technology.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and volunteers, is confident using digital tools, and wants to champion user voice to strengthen a growing community.
We’re looking for someone who is aligned with our mission, confident facilitating online or in-person sessions, understands safeguarding, and is comfortable managing tasks at pace, including regular travel.

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Stewardship Writing
- Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
- Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
- Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
- Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
Storytelling & Content Development
- Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
- Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.
- Collaborate within the Marketing & Communications team to pair copy with strong visuals, and input to other priority projects as required.
Editing & Quality Control
- Proofread and edit donor communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the college ethos and brand guidelines.
- Maintain a consistent, donor-focused tone across all written materials.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with the members of the Marketing & Communications team to align donor messaging with campaign goals.
- Collaborate with other teams across the college including the Academic, Training and Finance Teams.
- Contribute to the development of content calendars and communication strategies.
- Track and analyse response rates and engagement to inform future copy.
· Fully participate in All Nations community activities when possible.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ professional writing experience, preferably in donor relations and fundraising communications.
- Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging copy and marketing materials for diverse audiences.
- Strong interviewing, research, and storytelling skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with donor stewardship best practices and fundraising language.
- Experience of producing and tracking fundraising campaigns, tracking impact, reporting and lesson learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and engage cross-culturally.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team and wider organisational departments.
- Experience with CRM or donor database systems.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of direct response fundraising principles.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital content best practices, and awareness of upcoming trends and changes in the sector, including best use of AI.
- Experience of working with Canva and other document editing software which pair visuals with text.

Role Overview and Main Responsibilities
One of the main areas of this role is to improve the Digital Marketing systems of the college. This involves managing multiple projects and supervising other team members within their roles. The postholder will also work alongside the CEO to develop and implement a new marketing strategy to enable ANCC to achieve its vision and mission globally. This will include shaping the Marketing and Communications team to support the stakeholder journey for students, partners and donors.
- Enhancing the digital systems of the college for the purposes of marketing
- Work collaboratively with the CEO and Marketing & Communications team to ensure new marketing assets are designed and produced for optimal results
· Generating leads for new applicants, students, partners and donations to the college, optimising our efficiency, and maximising opportunities for engagement.
- Manage the website development project which includes the improvement of the college website for marketing purposes, and improving the User Experience (UXP) ensuring that it is optimised for search engines
- Manage team members for the maintenance and development of the college’s website, SEO, user journey experience, and website assets
- Support and collaborate with the Social Media officer to ensure digital marketing across our platforms, including LinkedIn for digital community engagement.
- Monitor and review performance of digital marketing channels for analytical reporting and making recommendations for improvement.
- Email marketing across stakeholder groups to support recruitment and engagement for the college. This includes the management of Mailchimp and ensuring Donorfy data is up to date.
- Direct marketing to students and partners for college courses, training options, collaborative design, delivery and lifelong learning. This may include digital marketing via website, social media, email, content marketing, print marketing and campaigns.
- Developing a digital marketing campaigns calendar and system for use within the team including the implementation of campaign briefs and tracking of campaigns across ANCC products
- Play an active role within the team to help at promotional events, including national exhibitions and conferences, at the college and elsewhere
- Assist the team with organising college open days and other promotional events (graduations, multicultural evenings, carols at Easneye etc).
- Work creatively with the team to continue to develop strong relationships with ANCC alumni through digital communications, and maximising opportunities for engagement

About Strength & Stem
Strength & Stem is a charity and social enterprise that uses floristry to empower female modern slavery survivors. We want to see female survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking restored from their trauma, empowered for the future, and able to sustain a good quality of life. We achieve our vision by offering an evidence-based, holistic programme. It incorporates tailored skills training (including vocational floristry, prevocational and wellbeing skills training), work experience, mentorship, and a supportive community. We run a nine-month programme each year, as well as alumni events and social cafes. The skills and experiences survivors gain through our programme create a lasting difference for them and their families through economic independence, strengthened wellbeing and increased community.
Role summary
The Programme Coordinator plays a key operational role at the heart of Strength & Stem, ensuring the smooth delivery of our programmes and events. This includes coordinating a series of 12 weekly floristry and skills workshops, supporting the mentoring scheme, and organising independent events such as our annual graduation celebration, alumni gatherings and ad-hoc floristry workshops.
The role combines logistics, participant engagement, monitoring and evaluation, and communications across all areas of delivery. It is varied and dynamic — balancing hands-on support during programme delivery with significant behind-the-scenes coordination, administration and reporting.
It’s ideal for someone who enjoys managing details, keeping systems organised, and ensuring everything runs smoothly while contributing to meaningful impact for women rebuilding their lives after modern slavery.

About the role
We are looking to recruit a talented Business Support Officer to join the Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement (P&A) team at King’s College London.
The Business Support Officer provides crucial and comprehensive support for the Business Operations team to help ensure the continued success and evolution of the department. It is a fast-paced and varied post that will offer operational and administrative support to cover a diverse range of tasks, from planning and delivering team engagement activity, through to recruitment and onboarding, to supporting on financial analysis and reporting. They work closely with the Business Manager KCL Philanthropy and the People & Talent Manager but will also be a part of the wider Business Operations unit that ensures P&A is an efficiently and smoothly functioning unit.
As a significant part of the role, the postholder will be working closely with the Business Manager to support the work of the Philanthropy teams. The role will work with frontline fundraisers, as well as colleagues across the Department, to support in the processes and administration involved in cultivating and securing philanthropic gifts. They will also play a key role in supporting the Business Manager to drive forward important engagement and coordination across the Philanthropy team. In doing so, they will help support the creation of a high performing culture and allow fundraisers to focus on maximising philanthropic opportunities.
The Business Support Officer will also work closely with the People & Talent Manager, supporting in areas such as recruitment process, developing and organising training programmes and opportunities, and generally supporting on work to create an excellent working environment. This will cover activity in the Philanthropy teams and also more broadly across P&A.
The role will suit an ambitious self-starter who can co-ordinate and manage projects and processes across a variety of work areas within business operations, being motivated by working with both people and data. Someone who can build strong relationships across teams to ensure that ways of working are optimised to support our fundraising efforts and our wider department. And someone who will embrace working in a role that requires a degree of autonomy, in the context of a team that prides itself on its open, friendly, and supportive culture.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered a fixed term contract for 12 months. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% of time in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

RNCSF (“SpringBoard”)’s vision is to provide access to a great education for young people facing some of the most complex and challenging circumstances. By harnessing the power of fully funded bursary placements and targeted outreach activities available in the UK’s state and independent boarding schools and independent day schools, we seek to transform individual young lives, and in turn we aim to create a sustained ‘ripple-effect’ of growing aspirations and achievements across under-served communities and marginalised groups.
Since 2012 we have supported more than 1,500 young people to access the life-transforming opportunities provided by fully funded bursary places, working with more than 200 participating boarding and independent schools united under the shared commitment to build more diverse, inclusive and representative school environments. We have ambitious plans to ensure that 2,000 young people are supported by our work by 2025, through extending our Department for Education sponsored work in independent day schools.

Purpose of the role
You will support the Head of SpringForward in managing a growing independent school- local authority partnership mentoring programme. This programme promotes partnerships between independent schools and Local Authorities that ensure that children in care can access opportunities for tailored mentoring by independent schoolteachers to help address some of their achievement and attainment gaps, and be supported to secure offers for a university or apprenticeship route on leaving school.
Key responsibilities
You will work with the Head of SpringForward to support successful management of day-to-day operations of the programme; including but not limited to:

onboarding and engagement of volunteer independent schoolteacher mentors;

liaising with school coordinators and overseeing overall school participation;

liaising with Local Authority partners and updating on pupil engagement;

supporting mentors in delivery of mentoring, quality assurance including monitoring of session reports, updating resources).
You will work with Head of SpringForward to review, implement and refine impact measurement, collecting survey data and feedback, review the outcomes and supporting continuous improvement of programme design and to communicate with new schools and LAs the programme’s benefits.
You will be held accountable for upholding the highest levels of safeguarding practice in implementation of the mentoring programme, including updating and maintaining safeguarding records for volunteers.
You will be responsible for writing reports on progress and outcomes for the charity’s senior leadership, trustees and the wider partnership community.
If seeking additional responsibilities/hours, this role could also include elements of wider communications support - including updating the charity’s website and social media content, collecting impact stories and sharing weekly content on school visits, donor engagement and key newsworthy items relevant to the work of RNCSF.
