As a full/part time support worker, you will assist in the delivery of 1:1 and group support which works toward achieving positive outcomes for our tenants

You will be responsive, reliable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to working with vulnerable adults with complex needs.

An NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

The role is subject to a continuous contract of employment

The role of a support worker is highly demanding and you will be working to address complex needs and challenging behaviour by providing assertive, consistent and enabling support to people with complex mental health problems, Autistic Spectrum Conditions, learning disabilities and substance misuse issues.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive and flexible approach to working. **There is an expectation that full time staff will also work evenings and weekends **
You will also have the ability to ensure that the rights of the people we support are always protected and respected.

If you have the ability to work with vulnerable adults and their families, if you have an understanding of the issues they face, and if you have the ability to work assertively and respectfully to enable our tenants to ‘enjoy and achieve’,
this could be a great opportunity!

Please apply in writing, in letter format, to Lynn Collins, the Service Manager, stating why you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to carry out this demanding role.
Applicants not currently employed by the organisation must also complete an application form.

**Please do not apply if you are unable to work evenings and weekends.**

Typed or handwritten applications will be accepted.  Please state which position you are applying for i.e. full time/part time/weekend only

Closing Date for applications: Friday 11th February 2022 at 5.00 pm
