About the role
This role is pivotal in contributing to the overall mission of RFUK to protect rainforests and support Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
The Programme Support Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring sound management of specific projects in line with strategy, agreed budgets, log frames, work plans and procedures and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including monitoring project implementation and documentation, as well as ensuring timely and accurate reporting to donors in collaboration with team members and partners.
This is a full-time (35 hours per week) fixed-term role for 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The post can be based fully remotely in France or offered as a hybrid role from our London office, with at least 1 day per week in the office. About you
You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional with a background in project management, preferably in the NGO or international development sector. You possess excellent written and spoken fluency in both English and French, enabling you to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and local partners.
Your experience includes supporting project and financial management, including close liaison with implementing partners, taking high quality meeting notes, and producing succinct reports. You have experience monitoring project implementation and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
Your strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure make you an invaluable asset to any team.

Location
This role is offered as either a fully remote-based role in France, or as a hybrid role based in our Bethnal Green, London office. Research Officer
The Research Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is dedicated to funding groundbreaking research to understand, diagnose, and cure dementia diseases. ARUK funds dementia research through an extensive portfolio of grant schemes and strategic initiatives both nationally and internationally.
The Research Officer will play a significant role in supporting the Senior Research Manager and other Research Managers. They will support the creation of grant processes for the administration of smaller value grants, lead the associated grant processes and contribute to work supporting our Research Network. This role is essential to foster ARUK's research objectives and provide continual support for our research community. This role will require close working with teams across the Research directorate, as well as the wider organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Creation of grant processes
· Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine their needs, to support process implementation
· Collaborate on the creation of grant processes, (pre and post) associated with smaller value grants
· Contribute to the development of Flexigrant to implement changes
· Facilitate the communication of changes, related to grant processes, and training of necessary staff
Grant administration
· Lead the grant administration of smaller value grants; including pre-award and grant review processing
· Implement a feedback mechanism for continual improvement
· Provide support to external stakeholder, e.g. researchers, regarding these grants
Research Network
· Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key external stakeholders, particularly ARUK funded researchers
· Contribute to external events as a representative of the charity including national and international conferences.
· Support the wider team to ensure smaller value grant schemes are appropriate for the dementia research community, particularly early career researchers.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed:
· Familiarity with the UK funding landscape and dementia research.
· Good eye for detail with the ability to organise large volumes of information.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
· Prior experience in a team environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the organisation’s financial responsibilities, working to tight deadlines, and a varied workload across different areas of responsibility, particularly in relation to financial reporting. About the role
As our Philanthropy Officer, you will support the delivery of our major donor programme, helping to steward a committed community of donors and ensuring that relationships, communications and records are managed accurately and professionally.

You will be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. You will be a strong communicator, confident building relationships with supporters and colleagues, and motivated to deliver a high standard of supporter care.

About the role
This role is based from home with a requirement for occasional travel to venues across the region to attend Team Days and other meetings as required. You will be working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer, you will be:
- talking to people on the telephone from a variety of different backgrounds, all with different experiences. No two days are the same & you will need to use your communication skills and resilient nature to help those dealing with trauma and the effects of crime, who may have gone through a life-changing experience.
- working within a small supportive team that is part of a large independent charity which offers the opportunity to develop skills to enhance your ongoing personal development.
Previous experience in a similar role would be helpful but is not essential as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients. You will also receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.

The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, management and performance of UnitedGMH. Reporting to the boards of UnitedGMH and the American Friends of United for Global Mental Health (AFUGMH), the CEO will set strategic direction, oversee delivery, and act as the organisation’s primary ambassador.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead in conjunction with the organisation’s senior staff the refinement and delivery of our global organisational strategy 2027-2030.
- Guide the organisation through periods of change, including strategy refresh and transformation.
- Draw on sector insight to ensure UnitedGMH remains at the forefront of global mental health advocacy.
Governance & Board Relationship
- Work closely with the boards of UnitedGMH and AFUGMH to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
- Oversee the preparation and sign-off of board papers; present regularly to the boards.
- Identify, recommend and support the recruitment of new members of both boards.
- Advise the boards on significant strategic decisions, including potential partnerships and organisational change.
Organisational Leadership
- Lead, support and inspire a high-performing and global team of approximately 20 staff.
- Where needed, oversee and support the delivery of multiple projects and programmes aligned with strategic priorities, in conjunction with the project leads.
- Foster a collaborative, kind, inclusive and values-driven culture that walks the talk on mental health.
External Engagement & Influence
- Represent the organisation with external partners, funders, policymakers and the wider sector.
- Build and manage relationships with key donors.
- Strengthen and expand strategic partnerships globally.
- Champion the organisation’s mission and influence key stakeholders in different regions across the world.
- Act as the organisation’s global spokesperson and support staff in building their profile as spokespeople for the organisation.
Finance & Organisational Planning
- Identify and agree organisational objectives, develop strategic and operational plans, and lead their implementation with a high level of autonomy, while reporting to the boards.
- Oversee organisational planning, budgeting, prioritisation and resource allocation to ensure delivery against strategic goals.
- Ensure the organisation has sufficient and sustainable funding to deliver against agreed budgets and strategic priorities.
- Maintain strong financial oversight and accountability, ensuring the organisation operates within budget and delivers across all agreed objectives.
- Monitor organisational performance against agreed deliverables, evaluating outcomes and adjusting plans where necessary to mitigate risk or adverse consequences.
- Ensure robust financial management, operational planning, and effective use of organisational resources across multiple programmes and projects.
- Bring together and oversee complex, cross-organisational initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and on time.
- Delegate effectively through senior leadership and management structures, maintaining a medium- and long-term strategic focus.
Fundraising & External Income Generation
- Lead and support organisational fundraising strategy to secure sustainable and diversified income streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, donors, strategic partners and philanthropic stakeholders.
- Successfully secure and oversee fundraising contributions to meet a target set annually with the boards.
- Work with the boards and senior leadership team to identify new funding opportunities and strengthen long-term financial sustainability.
- Ensure fundraising activities align with the organisation’s mission, values and strategic priorities.
- Represent the organisation externally to enhance visibility, influence and support for UnitedGMH’s work globally.
Risk, Compliance & Accountability
- Ensure strong organisational governance, compliance and risk management.
- Proactively identify and escalate policy breaches or serious incidents.
- Oversee finance, HR and operations functions in accordance with UK employment policies, and UK and US charity regulations.
- Act as the primary point of accountability to the boards and relevant regulatory bodies (including the Charity Commission and US authorities).
- Take responsibility for organisational risks, decisions and outcomes.

We are recruiting for a Senior Supporter Care Officer to join our team at Mind.
Mind's Supporter Care Team play a vital role in ensuring that we deliver an outstanding customer service to supporters and the general public, guaranteeing an excellent experience with Mind, leaving our supporters feeling valued and committed to our cause.
You will work closely with the team manager as well as two other Senior Officers, and 6 Co-rdinators. You will directly line manage 3 Co-ordinators, ensuring work is completed within SLAs, supporting with coaching and ensuring high quality standards are achieved by working with individuals to develop and improve whilst always keeping supporters at the heart of what we do.
Engagement and communication is key to this role and will require someone who has significant line management experience and who is above all else, compassionate, resilient and who thrives in a busy, customer facing environment.

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
-Line manage 3 Co-ordinators and support the whole team to ensure timely, high quality communications with supporters and the general public.
- Monitor quality and provide structured feedback on performance, creating bespoke development plans with team members.
- Support the management team with complaint handling and resolution, responding to complex emails and acting as an escalation point for Safeguarding concerns identified during team interactions (it is essential the post holder has Safeguarding experience)
-Create process notes, ensuring the team are briefed on upcoming activities and that templates and FAQs are up to date.
-Lead on and participate in team wide projects to utilise AI and other technology to improve supporter experiences
- Act as first line of support for the team on a day to day basis to resolve real time queries

We’re looking for an Individual Giving Officer to join our fundraising team and play a key role in growing our supporter base and income.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll have a varied and creative role, including:
- Leading the delivery of our Individual Giving income stream, including donor acquisition, retention and stewardship
- Building and managing strong relationships with supporters, ensuring excellent and personalised supporter care
- Developing and delivering engaging campaigns, appeals and communications across email, digital and direct channels
- Creating and improving supporter journeys to enhance engagement and long-term support
- Using CRM data (Donorfy/Beacon) to segment audiences, generate insights and inform activity
- Monitoring performance, reporting on income and identifying opportunities for growth
- Supporting the delivery of seasonal campaigns and fundraising appeals
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent messaging and impactful storytelling
- Working with digital colleagues to maximise online engagement

What We’re Looking For

Day to day, the Events Officer manages supporter journeys from end-to-end.
