Not your average job:

We are looking for passionate and compassionate people who want to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by road crashes. When someone’s life is changed in an instant, having someone there who listens, understands and truly cares can make an enormous difference. As part of our team, you’ll provide compassionate, trauma-informed support, helping individuals and families feel heard, respected and less alone as they navigate some of the most difficult experiences of their lives. You’ll work alongside each person to understand their individual needs, strengths, risks and concerns, providing support that promotes safety, choice and dignity while helping them find a way forward at their own pace.

You’ll manage a caseload of complex and sensitive cases, recognising and responding appropriately to risk and safeguarding concerns, and work closely with Family Liaison Officers, health and mental health services, GPs, the coronial system, children’s services, social care and voluntary organisations to ensure people receive safe, joined-up support.

Who you are: We’re looking for people with the skills and experience to build trusting relationships, manage complex situations, recognise risk and work collaboratively with individuals, families and professionals. Most importantly, you’ll bring a genuine commitment to making a meaningful difference. This is a remote-based role, but you’ll never be working in isolation. We stay connected through regular virtual team meetings, team huddles, Slack and 1:1 and clinical supervision, creating a supportive environment where colleagues can share, reflect, learn and support one another. You’ll also receive ongoing trauma-informed training and opportunities to develop your practice.

Specifically seeking candidates with:

- Experience with people affected by trauma, sudden bereavement, or serious injury

- Understanding of trauma-informed practiceand ability to provide support sensitively

- Experience identifying and responding to safeguarding and vulnerability concerns

- Strong advocacy skills ability to act as a powerful voice for service users, expertly navigating external networks, assemble resources and cross-functional support where required.
