We fight for gender equity through system-level change by educating about and advocating for living in sync with your cycle.

Period Reality aims to address period related issues and stories by sharing the real life stories from girls and women globally. Although half the population experiences a menstrual cycle, the stark contrast in the different realities of girls and women is very real and through storytelling we aim to educate and provide relatable content.

Through sharing stories from girls and women focused on their common humanities. Even though our realities might be very different depending on many factors (physical, geographical, socio-economical, mental etc.) we all share a lot of the same questions, worries, dreams, anxieties, ambitious etc. Making these stories relatable and accessible will educate and inspire and create a movement of girls and women being able to first and foremost understand their own cycle, in order to be kind to themselves.

Volunteer Role Description (remote, unpaid)

Are you creative with design skills and do you want your artwork to make an impact? By joining our Design Team your designs will directly impact thousands of people around the world and will inspire them to make a difference. We value creativity and ownership and you will have a lot of room to gain experience in all areas of your interest.

As a Coordinator 8+ hours a week, as part of the team 4-8 hours per week.

They are currently seeking an Independent Director to join the Board of their trading subsidiary. This is a critical governance role, providing strategic insight, external perspective, and constructive challenge. The successful candidate will contribute to informed decision-making, robust risk management, and ensure that the client’s work remains closely aligned with their charitable mission and long-term objectives.

The client's vision is a world where people, communities, and services collaborate to shape effective systems that offer every child and young person a fair chance to grow up happy, safe, healthy and thriving. Their work spans a variety of vital areas, including early years support, mental health systems, child protection, and increasing opportunities for young people - driving systemic change where it’s needed most.

They’re particularly interested in hearing from individuals who bring:

• Board-level or senior leadership experience, ideally in a socially focused or purpose-led setting—this could include consultancy, social enterprise, or commercial organisations with strong values

• An independent and thoughtful mindset, comfortable asking critical questions, providing both support and challenge, and collaborating effectively

• Financial and strategic confidence, with a sound understanding of governance, organisational risk, and operating a business with a social impact mission

• A real commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people, and a belief in more equitable, inclusive systems

The client is especially keen to bring new and diverse perspectives to their Board. You might have experience in areas such as public service transformation, youth leadership, community organising, philanthropy, research and evaluation or you may bring insights from another relevant discipline.

The Young Producers programme at English Heritage could be for you! 

We are looking for young people aged 18-24 to join our Young Producers from June 2025.

Our Young Producers are at the heart of English Heritage’s youth participation work. Their ideas, creativity and interests help steer and shape the programme and support other areas of English Heritage activity too. 

As a Young Producer you will: 

• Have your voice heard and influence change at English Heritage 

• Join our monthly meetings where you can meet other young people and contribute to decision making within English Heritage 

• Have the opportunity to take part in various projects – recent ones have included LGBTQ+ History, Black History, heritage careers and improving visitor experience for young people 

• Meet heritage professionals and make connections 

• Gain experience that is useful in a variety of sectors and workplaces, from research skills and public speaking to written communication and content creation

From elderly moggies to energic kittens, every day across the UK cats and kittens are in need of a temporary place to stay, and lots of love and TLC! We need more fosterers like you to provide a safe, temporary haven for cats and kittens and provide them with everything they need before they get their chance to land on their four paws and make a house a home.

A bit about this role

This role is based in the Mid Kent area covering Maidstone, West Malling, Aylesford, Larkfield, Leybourne, Bearsted, Paddock Wood, West Kingsdown, Wrotham, Hollingbourne, Harrietsham, Lenham etc

As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported.
