Office facilities are available at our Newark office. Office opening days are Tuesdays to Thursdays. There is a requirement to attend in-person the monthly team meeting at the Newark office.

About You 

We are deeply rooted in local areas and we work with communities of all kinds. We use two particular approaches to this element of our work, one which is known as Organising (working with people to help them to help Nature in their own way – for example listening to their concerns about their local green spaces and supporting them to make improvements), and one which is known as

Mobilising (helping people influence changes for Nature - for example changing Government policy by engaging with their MP). Our intention is always to influence nature’s recovery.

War on Want challenges the root causes of poverty and injustice. We run impactful campaigns in the UK - and work with partner organisations across the Global South. We are currently relaunching our trade justice campaigning and are looking for an energetic early career campaigner to work on it. 

The trade system sits at the heart of the rigged global economy. It perpetuates social, economic and climate injustice. From fossil fuel corporations suing governments in secret courts, to British mining giants violently extracting minerals from countries in the Global South, to upholding neocolonial patterns of economic inequality. 

Our re-launched campaign will challenge these secret ‘ISDS’ courts and the dangerous global rush for critical minerals, while championing trade justice.

This is a diverse and challenging role. On a typical day, the successful candidate might be planning a panel discussion, producing social media content, meeting an MP, carrying out research, organising a protest, or coordinating with allied organisations. About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to help SARSAS realise it’s vision of a world without sexual violence, through supporting our ambitious fundraising and communications team.

Our Fundraising and Marketing Assistant will be engaging with our supporters, support our training programmes, raising awareness and fundraising campaigns and use their creative skills to produce compelling digital content.

You will directly support fundraising and comms with administrative support, including responsibility for maintaining accurate records on our CRM database.

As Fundraising and Marketing Assistant, you will also raise SARSAS’s profile through agreed external communications along with supporting internal communications within the organisation.

SARSAS exists to relieve the trauma and distress, and help rebuild the lives, of survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

SARSAS also campaigns and raises awareness about rape and sexual violence to change the narrative about sexual violence and enable survivor’s voices to be heard. Partnership work with a range of agencies locally and nationally is a priority to enable social change.

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Legal Assistant to support the delivery of Rainbow Migration’s legal service by providing additional administrative capacity. This will include:

Role overview

Contract type: 3-Year Fixed-term 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2029

Hours: Full-time or part-time (35 hours per week Monday to Friday for full-time, minimum 28 hours for part-time). Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £27,011 FTE (pro rata), with potential step increases each year up to £30,400, plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we try to give a separate inflationary increase every April

Location: Rainbow Migration’s step-free offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. At the time of creating this role, staff mostly work from home. There might also be occasional travel outside London with plenty of notice. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Annual leave: Initially 25 days per year. After two years of employment, this will increase by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days (pro rata if working part-time).

We’re looking for a Senior Campaigns Adviser who brings creative ideas and strategic thinking and can navigate relationships with care and confidence.

• Lead agreed areas of campaign activity and deputise for the National Campaigns Manager
• Ensure people affected by MND are involved throughout campaign development
• Recruit, lead and coordinate volunteers

Communications Assistant

• 15 hours per week at £15.00 an hour (Actual salary £11,700 - FTE £27,300)
• Hours may be worked flexibly over a minimum of 3 days a week
• Home based with occasional prearranged in person meetings

The Communications Assistant will provide hands-on support to the Communications Manager in the ideation, creation and delivery of our regular external communications. This includes helping to grow our social media following, creating and scheduling content, sourcing and designing images, providing copywriting support, and responding to comments across our channels. The role will also involve drafting and scheduling newsletters and providing administrative support with our databases.

This is a 15‑hour‑per‑week role, with the potential to grow in the future. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can spread their hours across the week to support consistent content delivery, but we are open to discussing alternative working patterns for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have experience in a communications, marketing or social media role. They will be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and have basic video editing and/or animation skills. Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice for different channels are essential, as is confidence using Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.

We are a busy remote team, and this role offers plenty of scope to work autonomously and flexibly. You’ll gain experience across a wide range of areas and develop your skills in a supportive, hands‑on environment, with opportunities to contribute to the creative direction of our communications.

Purpose of Role

As an Assistant Producer at Comic Relief, you’ll help bring bold stories and creative ideas to life across various platforms and outputs. With a background in celebrity, comedy or branded content, you’ll help captivate audiences and drive engagement, largely focusing on the entertainment portion of our brand, but with opportunities in factual storytelling.

With a hands-on approach and sitting at the heart of our Creative Services team, you’ll transform briefs into reality, producing high impact, engaging content that resonates with our audiences. One week you might be developing a social-first YouTube format or editing social video content, the next, supporting on a livestream, producing corporate partner communications, or helping to plan a photoshoot.

· Shooting experience – used to arranging and contributing on shoots, including camera operating, interviewing, and supporting senior creatives.

· Editing experience – Adobe Premiere editing skills and experience edit-producing, leading video post-production for a range of outlets, particularly social media.

· Social media knowledge – experience across major platforms with an understanding of best practice, and curiosity for new trends and audience habits.

· Production know-how – attention to detail, strong editorial judgement, and ability to follow established processes and workflows.
