We are looking for a Core Operations Assistant to join the Swindon and Gloucestesershire Mind team to provide day-to-day administrative support for core services and function within Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind, including supporting the Management Team and Senior Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities include:

• To effectively support all administrative arrangements and support as required by the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Management Team.

• To undertake research and ad-hoc projects as needs arise or other duties may from time to time be necessary, that are compatible with the nature and grade of tis post.

• To be responsible for the inventory of hardware and systems.

• To be responsible for overseeing general correspondence as agreed with Senior Leadership Team, including but not limited to correspondence in relation to Recruitment and general enquiries not related to mental health support.

• To support with invoicing and managing correspondence from the Finance Inbox.

• To support with overseeing general equipment needs for all teams and take necessary actions as agreed with service managers.

• To be responsible for the administration of organizing Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind’s AGM, sending out invitations and logging responses.

• To support with the management of utilities contracts across core services and reviewing the efficiency and costs of each contract.

Role Purpose

GDI Hub CIC is seeking an experienced PA/ Team Assistant to provide high-level support to its CEO and Academic Director as well as support the wider team.

The successful candidate will enable the CEO and Academic Director to be more effective by providing proactive administrative, communication, and operational support. The role will act as a key coordination point across the organisation, ensuring priorities are managed, diaries are coordinated, and that the CEO and Academic Director’s time is used strategically.

In addition, the candidate will also support the wider GDI Hub CIC team, particularly Operations, Comms and Project Delivery.

Across all elements of the role, the successful candidate will need to work with multiple colleagues and balance competing priorities. Responsibilities will include diary and time management, handling written communication, arranging national and international travel and logistics, event coordination, administrative support, and meeting and document preparation.  This role will work closely with members of the GDI Hub team, with some interactions with external partners, collaborators and stakeholders.

We are looking for a candidate with strong organisation, administrative and communication skills. The ability to work in a changing environment is essential, as is a coordinated approach and willingness to take on new tasks.

Successful candidates will need to be proactive and organised with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Personal assistant

• Manage complex calendars, scheduling internal and external meetings and setting reminders
• Prioritise appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts where these arise
• Ensure the CEO/Academic Directors time is used efficiently and plan for commitments in advance
• Track director credit/debit card spending and supply timely copies of receipts as required
• Collate/ process expense claims
• Monitor and manage inbox as required

Travel & Logistics

• Arrange international travel, accommodation, transport and itineraries for both Directors and project staff
• Arrange travel visas for Directors
• Manage travel alterations and resolve issues promptly

Administrative Support

• Implement and maintain procedures/ administrative systems
• Support CEO/Director with line-management administration (1:1s, objective setting etc)
• Provide basic budget tracking and administration
• Maintain organised filing systems
• Draft and prepare routine correspondence
• Prepare presentations and documents
• Maintain accurate records and contact databases
• Provide IT support and troubleshooting where needed

Meeting & Document Preparation

• Assist CEO/Director with meeting prep as required
• Prepare agendas and collate meeting papers

Team Assistant  

• Process staff travel claims for payment, checking receipts and sign off from line managers
• Logistical support for UK based events inc. away days for venues, travel, materials

• Contract management support; including due diligence info and evidence gathering
• Support Comms and other teams as required

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Purpose 

We are looking for an exemplary people-oriented administrator to provide administrative support to the Gestalt Centre CEO and the workstreams she manages. An important role in the organisation, working with senior leadership and across teams, in a welcoming and supportive environment with opportunities to learn and grow on the job.

Areas of work and responsibility

• Administrative Support to the Gestalt Centre CEO
• Coordinate and support projects and workstreams the CEO leads on: Operations, Communications and Marketing, Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications, HR, Finance, Policies, Fundraising and Health & Safety.
• Liaise with the CEO and the leadership team to update the organisational plan and workstream plans, also keep track of relevant priority actions and progress.
• Provide administrative support for governance processes such as the Annual Financial Audit, Trustee Board meetings, the Charity Commission and Companies House submissions.
• Provide administrative support to the organising and running fundraising activities and events.
• Administrative support and coordination for the annual planning of Short Courses and Post Graduate Qualifications programmes. 
• Organise, provide administrative support, and attend as appropriate, weekly operational meetings, monthly Executive meetings, and other project meetings, led by the CEO. Zoe's Place Baby Hospice was founded in Liverpool in 1995 as the first hospice in the UK specifically providing for the needs of babies and younger children. Our team of specialist nurses and healthcare assistants are supported by a wide range of other healthcare professionals to provide respite care, therapies and bereavement care to babies and children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.

Chorlton Good Neighbours is a small, well-loved neighbourhood charity with roots back to the late 1960s, working to reduce loneliness and support older people across Chorlton and adjacent neighbourhoods. Our work is local, practical and volunteer-led: befriending, home visits, transport, weekly activities, monthly teas, intergenerational groups and occasional day trips are all delivered with warmth and care.

Our volunteer base is extraordinary - around 100 volunteers support drivers, befrienders, activity leads, admin roles and trustees - and in 2024–25 we supported 474 people in total. Funding is a mixed model of public grants, local donations and modest earned income and the charity holds healthy funds to deliver our work.

This is a practical, hands-on, delivery-focused leadership role: you will lead a neighbourhood organisation through planned transition, preserving the community culture that makes CGN trusted, while introducing proportionate systems and succession approaches that secure its future. You will also spend substantial time supporting and supervising volunteers and facilitating activities alongside strategic duties.

As our next Manager (Chief Executive), you will:

• Strategy & Impact: Lead the development and delivery of a clear long-term strategy that sustains CGN’s neighbourhood impact and reduces social isolation amongst older people.

• Governance & Finance: Strengthen proportionate financial controls, grant monitoring and reporting while working closely with trustees including the Treasurer.

• Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day delivery of volunteer-led services and introduce accessible procedures and safeguarding arrangements.

• Income Generation: Support fundraising and bid activity to secure multi-year funding and diversify local income streams.

• Community & Partnerships: Act as CGN’s visible ambassador, maintaining and developing relationships with Manchester City Council, NHS partners and local organisations.

• Volunteer Development: Recruit, induct and support volunteers and facilitators, building a resilient volunteer pipeline and clear role pathways.

• Brand & Profile: Promote CGN’s offer across local channels to maintain footfall, attract new supporters and celebrate members’ stories.

• Premises & Risk: Work with trustees on lease and premises issues and maintain a robust risk register to protect continuity of service.

Who you are

• An experienced, hands-on manager with significant experience of running small, community-facing charities or local services and a hands-on approach to operational delivery.

• Demonstrable expertise in recruiting, supporting and retaining volunteers, with confidence in DBS/safeguarding practice and volunteer supervision.

• Highly organised with strong event/activity planning skills, practical problem solving and attention to detail.

• Financially literate - comfortable with budgeting, grant monitoring and basic financial controls and able to work with volunteer finance leads.

• An excellent communicator: approachable, diplomatic and skilled at building trust with older people, volunteers, trustees and statutory partners.

• Values driven, emotionally resilient and committed to inclusivity and dignity in later life.

• Desirable: experience of Age-Friendly programmes or befriending schemes and local credibility or knowledge of Manchester/South Manchester.

The Engagement Development Executive plays a key operational support role in supporting the charity’s engagement development activity. What the job involves

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with mid and high-value supporters, providing tailored stewardship that motivates, inspires and maximises their long-term fundraising impact. Are you an experienced arts manager with a good knowledge of the choral singing sector? We are looking for our new General Manager to work across finance, marketing, strategic and artistic direction, development, smooth daily operations, and responsible for safeguarding. You will be managing a small team of experienced staff and have the support of an active Chairman and Board of Trustees. 

The main duties and responsibilities for the General Manager role are as follows:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT
• Lead the small part time team, maintaining regular contact and guiding their
decision-making and activities
• Ensure that all team members are working effectively and have appropriate
support and resources
• Identifying ad hoc need for extra resource and sourcing this
• First point of contact for any enquiries to the Foundation

STRATEGIC & ARTISTIC DIRECTION

• Review current strategic goals and develop 3-5 year plan with the Board for all
