Role purpose 

We are looking for a proactive and organised Marketing & Communications Assistant to support the delivery of digital content and campaigns across Southampton Hospitals Charity’s channels. 

This role will play a key part in ensuring our communications are delivered consistently and effectively, supporting social media, email marketing and website activity. Working closely with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager and Editorial and Communications Officer, you will help bring our stories to life across digital channels and ensure content is published, scheduled and monitored to a high standard.

Key tasks and responsibilities  

Digital content delivery and channel management 

• Support the delivery of content across digital channels, including social media, website and email marketing.

• Monitor social media channels, responding to comments and messages where appropriate and escalating where needed. 

• Assist with maintaining and updating website content, including uploading stories, blogs, and campaign pages.

We are seeking an Associate, O-CEO & Strategic Initiatives to join the Foundation. This role exists to maximise the effectiveness of the CEO and senior leadership by combining high‑quality executive support with analytical insight and delivery discipline across priority initiatives.

Acting as a Business Analyst for the team, the role will have a constant finger on the pulse of our internal and external operating environment, helping to ensure these insights translate to meaningful action. Reporting to the Foundation’s Chief of Staff & Strategic Initiatives, you will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to facilitate the effective delivery of our leadership function, ensuring that time and resources are managed efficiently to help meet the CEO’s priorities.

About the Role

Please find below an outline of responsibilities for the Associate position in the Office of the CEO & Strategic Initiatives at the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

CEO Support, Leadership Enablement and Governance:

• Acts as the Executive Assistant to the CEO: Effectively owns the CEO’s calendar and inbox, flagging issues and providing solutions, and understanding how engagements help (or don’t) meet organisational objectives. You will anticipate needs, define and brief on the CEO’s role and input ahead of meetings, conduct periodic calendar audits, assess productivity, and identify areas for improvement.

• Corporate governance and leadership support: Manage the Foundation's board meeting agendas and coordinate board papers; manage relationships with Foundation Trustees and Directors.

• Organise and manage Leadership Meetings: Planning these effectively, setting agendas and tracking actions, working closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure key priorities are followed through and owners are accountable.

• Wider diary management, logistical and administrative support: Alongside your core duties optimising the time of the CEO, provide light-touch diary management for the Office of the CEO & Strategic Initiatives, CFO and Director of Business Development, managing expenses, and handling additional logistical matters as required. Supports the CEO Office with travel planning & diary management.

Strategic Insight, Executive Positioning and Project Management:

• Act as a Business Analyst for the unit: offering regular competitor and stakeholder insights, alongside horizon scanning for key opportunities (events, profile engagements, lead generation). Provides project management of key internal and external initiatives, coordinating cross functional stakeholders and ensuring accountability.

• Enhanced Business Development alignment: Work with the Chief of Staff & Strategic Initiatives to strengthen alignment between CEO priorities, business development activity, and the Foundation’s external positioning.

• Executive communications support: Collect and develop Foundation materials (presentations, spreadsheets, data visualisations), assist in research and intelligence gathering, horizon scan for speaking opportunities, and support internal and external communications. Supports internal communications, working with the team to ensure messages reflect CEO priorities and meet staff needs.

• Event logistics and execution: Project manage quarterly Town Halls logistics, coordinate Foundation Awards, organise End of Year Events, and manage other organisational events logistics as needed. Support the effective delivery of external events and speaking engagements that have CEO-level engagement.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated early‑career marketing professional with a strong interest in culture and heritage.

As we continue to diversify and grow our commercial revenue streams, we are seeking a proactive Commercial Marketing Assistant to support the promotion of key income‑generating initiatives. These include Champing (unique overnight stays in historic churches), filming, venue hire, and an expanding portfolio of leased or licensed properties. The role also offers scope to contribute to new commercial opportunities in the future.

Working within the Initiatives and Partnerships Team and alongside the Communications Team, the role supports marketing activity across a broad range of commercial initiatives, including Champing, filming, venue hire and regional commercial activities.

The postholder will develop marketing content, manage commercial marketing channels, support campaigns and respond to enquiries to help grow audiences and revenue.

The role also contributes to research, reporting and operational support for commercial activity.

Duties and key responsibilities

Fundraising Support

• Provide administration and operational support across the fundraising team.
• Respond promptly and professionally to fundraising enquiries via post, email, and phone, offering support, guidance and thanking donors and fundraisers.
• Develop excellent and enduring relationships with current and potential supporters.
• Send fundraising materials (including t-shirts, information packs, etc.) to supporters.
• Support challenge event fundraising by stewarding fundraisers, providing logistical support and administrative duties.
• Support the delivery of community campaigns, concentrating on the innovative fundraising elements, and providing stewardship to fundraisers.
• Support the planning and delivery of campaigns and special events and provide on the day support.
• Provide research support across the whole fundraising team, which may include researching corporates, trusts and foundations and community fundraising opportunities.

 Administrative Support

• Monitor the fundraising section on Sarcoma UK’s website, ensuring all fundraising pages are kept up to date and relevant.
• Produce regular reports on fundraising activities, including data from JustGiving, Enthuse, and GoFundMe, ensuring accurate tracking and evaluation.
• Work with the database and fundraising teams to evaluate and analyse fundraising activities. 
• Contribute to the smooth running of the organisation, assisting with general office and digital administrative tasks and ensuring processes are followed consistently.

 Stock and Online Shop

• Monitor Sarcoma UK’s online shop, and ecommerce platform. Ensuring it is regularly updated with accurate product listings and that orders are processed efficiently, meeting supporter expectations.
• Assist with maintaining external storage unit and keeping records of the contents.
• Liaise with suppliers, process orders, and ensure smooth fulfilment of orders.
• Research and create new merchandise and fundraising materials, keeping up to date with new trends and ensure offering is fresh and innovative.

Other

• Maintain accurate and up to date supporter records on Sarcoma UK’s database (Raiser’s Edge).
• To undertake all duties in line with the Sarcoma UKs policies, procedures and regulations ensuring that the work.
• The post holder will be working in a developing environment, and they will therefore be required to undertake other appropriate duties as necessary for the efficient operation of Sarcoma UK.

The Science Media Centre is a small, high-impact charity that works to get expert scientific voices into the media on the biggest and most controversial stories of the day so that news is accurate and evidence-based.  We're looking for a confident, engaged, and enthusiastic Operations and Executive Assistant to ensure our CEO and the wider team can function at pace. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to partner with a high-profile CEO at a highly-regarded scientific organisation, that has worked behind the scenes for over 20 years to deliver real impact to the public.

The core aspect of this role will be supporting our CEO. You will manage her diary and inbox, prepare her for speaking events, handle all travel and logistics, be the first port of call for tech queries, and generally act as her second brain. But on top of that, this broad role includes running our internship programme, managing events, coordinating projects for the Senior Management Team, assisting with governance and finance admin, and keeping the office running smoothly.

About NUMbrella Lane: NUMbrella Lane (NBL) is one of few sex worker-led services in Scotland. It has been operating since 2022 after National Ugly Mugs (NUM) took over aspects of the programming from the charity that ran Umbrella Lane. Since then, the project has evolved to provide in-person health and wellbeing support to Scotland-based sex workers and host events and outings within the community with a focus on community connectivity, reducing isolation and addressing root causes of interpersonal and intersectional violence.

Role Summary: The main purpose of the Vocational Support Delivery and Development Assistant is to provide trauma-informed, non-judgemental vocational support to sex workers in Scotland. Support members to access tools, resources and pathways to income stability, career development and community-based opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 and group-based vocational support (CVs, learning pathways, financial literacy) in person and online
• Facilitate workshops and peer-led sessions
• Run regular in person drop in sessions, responding to community needs
• Connect members with suitable training, employment, or educational opportunities.
• Assist with developing bespoke tools and resources in response to feedback
• Capture member progress via NUM’s evaluation frameworks and build a case study library
• Contribute to cross-team collaboration (casework, mental health, drop-ins) and promote services to members
• Contribute to the day to day running of NUMBrella Lane, which may look different week to week

Base & logistics: Activities are delivered UK-wide via a digital platform, remote services, and in-person hubs. NUM delivers its services UK-wide through a combination of digital resources, remote services and in-person hubs, including NUMbrella Lane in Glasgow. Staff work on a hybrid basis, with the balance of home and location based working based on business needs .This role is primarily in person at our Glasgow venue, with occasional travel possible for meetings, events, and outreach. There is some flexibility for working from home on tasks for which a physical presence in the Glasgow base is not required.

Job Outline:

The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for leading our community fundraising programme, by generating income through the fundraising activities of individuals and community groups. The Fundraising Officer will build strong, supportive relationships with fundraisers, delivering excellent stewardship to inspire long-term engagement and maximise income, including through celebratory giving and annual campaigns. The role will also involve engaging with the local community and supporting some challenge event fundraising.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop our community fundraising programme, providing excellent, tailored stewardship to community fundraisers, developing meaningful and long-lasting relationships, always maximising income potential.

• Lead on our annual community fundraising campaigns.

• Oversee and grow celebratory fundraising income ensuring supporters are inspired and well supported.

• Manage and develop relationships with schools and other community groups, providing resources and support to maximise their fundraising success.

Oxford Hospitals Charity is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative and organised candidate to join Oxford Hospitals Charity and make a real difference to patients and staff of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This part-time maternity cover role is up to 30 hours per week, worked across our operating hours Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The Senior Fundraising Executive (Grants) leads on bid-writing and relationship building with grantmakers (Trusts/Foundations/Public). The candidate will be a key player in the Grants team alongside the Director of Development (Grants/Major Gifts) and Development Officer. Create has seen its fundraising increase significantly in recent years, as it fulfils its ambitious plans to double its reach by its 25th anniversary in 2028. The Grants team is responsible for securing over 50% of the charity’s income, managing an extensive portfolio of T/F/Public funders, approaching a well-researched pipeline of potential funders, and researching prospects. WSU are looking for a strategic and inspirational leader with significant senior leadership experience in a complex organisation, and a demonstrable track record of developing and delivering successful organisational strategy. You'll be financially and commercially astute, able to interpret data to inform sound decisions, and experienced in working constructively with Boards and senior external stakeholders. Experience within the higher education, students' union, charity, or membership sectors is desirable, though not essential. 

You'll be an empowering and energetic leader, someone who builds inclusive, high-performing teams, encourages creativity, and is willing to engage with operational delivery as well as strategic direction. You'll bring the ability to balance challenge and support, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability across the organisation.
