We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.
The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). They will report to the Director of Development and Head of Communications.

The JUSTICE team currently work in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. We are recruiting a Project Coordinator to oversee the delivery and development of a flagship Community Wellbeing Project, which operates in partnership with Brent Council. The project is a Community Hub hosted in a community space in Stonebridge (not in Sufra’s existing premises). Members of the project can access a Community Shop, a Community Café and Kitchen, and holistic support in the form of Advice casework and workshops. The objective of the project is to deliver food aid alongside wraparound holistic support in way that improves the financial, physical and mental wellbeing of its members, who are struggling with the cost of living.
This collaborative project has been made possible due to the support of multiple partners and has already proven highly successful. It is likely to form the basis of a new model of support for people experiencing vulnerabilities that will be replicated across Brent and possibly elsewhere in London.
The Project Coordinator will oversee the delivery of the project, ensuring both the shop and the café operate effectively and in accordance with agreed standards and procedures. The successful candidate will help shape the project in the months ahead, whilst supporting guests, collecting data, and monitoring and evaluating the project. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy and varied environment, managing multiple priorities at the same time. They will have experience in a customer-facing role, dealing with the general public and managing volunteers. It would be beneficial for the post holder to have experience supporting vulnerable people with complex needs from a wide variety of backgrounds. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for members that sign onto the pilot project, and will be representing the organisation to external partners. About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Patrons Manager, the Patrons Manager is responsible for cultivating a pipeline of potential Patrons, from prospecting through to making the ask. You will work to achieve significant growth of Patrons membership whilst ensuring the highest standards are met.

Key areas of responsibility:
- Significantly increase income from the Patrons scheme in-line with the Museum's Patrons objectives and strategy, primarily through the recruitment of new Patrons.

- To ensure that all UK and international Patrons are aware of opportunities to give to the scheme in a tax efficient and effective manner.
About you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, preferably in a subject which requires excellent written skills.
- Experience in fundraising and private giving with sound knowledge of Annual Giving schemes.
- Experience in handling data (including financial data) and designing effective processes.

Key Duties:
• To support Masjid and Branch Improvement through enabling them to undertake the self-assessment audit and then to deliver a development day based on the self-audit.
• To organise training both face to face and online that will enable masjids and branches to develop and move forward in their work programme.
• To bring on board speakers that will enable mosques to develop.
• To engage with the Dawah programme and to develop a robust programme of support to meet the needs of the department and different stakeholders.
