Job description

At Hestia we believe that our service users have lived experience and insights, talents and strengths which enrich our services. To be able to deliver and design services for people in crisis, it is a crucial that we involve those who we support. To have a voice, share their views, insights, and suggestions. This allows us as an organisation to provide a service which is continuously developing and transforming to meet people’s needs.

We are looking for a team of volunteers to join us! Your role will speak to people who use our approved premises and collect feedback from across the organisation.

What you will be doing

  • Attend approved premises and receive feedback from service users.
  • To attend community meetings
  • To attend 'together network' meetings and relay feedback from service users
  • Support staff with events and online sessions such as CV writing, etc.
  • Where risk assessed by probation and safe to, encourage service users to become volunteers.

The skills you need

  • Ability to provide a supportive, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning and participation
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality
