As Bid Writer, you will work with the team to identify funding opportunities, and craft compelling bids and proposals that clearly articulate our vision, services, and value to commissioners and funders. This role is a part-time permanent position for a minimum of 15 hours per week but we are open to additional hours up to four days per week. The salary for this role is £40,560 FTE. You will be based at home but available to travel to our office in Vauxhall, London occasionally as needed.

LTSB has grown significantly over the past few years. Our work is only possible with the generosity and commitment of our supporters. You will be joining our fantastic Fundraising team who work with trusts, foundations, institutions, companies, and individuals to ensure the charity has the funds and relationships necessary to achieve our aims.
The Fundraising Manager - Trusts and Foundations is a brand new role will be responsible for a portfolio of trusts and foundations and you will be required to develop and grow the number of trusts, foundations and institutions we are working with.
Income from trusts, foundations and statutory sources is an important income stream for the charity and you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising to develop and execute a strategy in order to grow and retain our existing funders, as well as bring new ones on board. You will work with a range of funders including corporate and family foundations as well as institutional funders.
We’re looking for someone who has experience of a similar role/s and you must have experience of grant writing. You will have great writing skills and experience of building and maintaining strong relationships and searching for new ones, whether online or in person. You will be enthusiastic, driven and creative with a can-do attitude. This role will have periods of high intensity. Being able to manage the highs and lows of trust and foundations fundraising is key.
As we all work remotely, you will also need to be a self-starter and be able to work independently. We would expect a thorough understanding and commitment to LTSB’s vision, mission, and work.

As Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of the organisation. You will also lead on the charity's year-end accounts ensuring that financial statements are prepared in line with the latest SORP requirements and liaise directly with the organisation's external auditors.
You will be an experienced finance professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role (including at management level) and ideally in a not-for profit organisation. You will possess qualification or part-qualification in AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA with knowledge of UK charity accounting. You will show high levels of initiative, an ability to work with minimum supervision across a varied workload, and possess strong communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- As a member of the senior management team, you are responsible for the management of the financial systems including producing, maintaining and managing budgets and financial management reports (including management accounts, preparation of annual accounts and other statutory reports)
- Ensure compliance with corporate and charitable law, and ensure that financial systems comply with statutory and other requirements (e.g. SORP)
- General finance management such as ensuring financial management policies and procedures are up to date, assist in the preparation of financial proposals and bids, and other responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the organisation.

About the Advocacy & Support Manager role
You will join a team managing Galop’s specialist advocacy services, providing support to LGBT victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK. This role holds the responsibility of the National advocacy & support team, you will be responsible for the line management and operational management of the advocacy & support service across the UK. You will work within the advocacy management team to deliver advice, support, and advocacy to thousands of LGBT victims and survivors of interpersonal abuse and violence each year.
You will remotely manage a team of specialist advocates and caseworkers that are based across the UK, providing needs-led support, information and advocacy to LGBT survivors of a range of violence and abuse. You will work with the Head of Advocacy and Support and other Advocacy and Support managers to ensure that survivors have access to timely, tailored support, while maintaining a high quality, consistent service, with a specific focus on remote support.
You will have an in depth understanding of violence and abuse that LGBT people are subjected to, including the causes, impact and barriers to accessing services. You will use your expertise to represent Galop with key stakeholders, advocating for the needs of the community and acting as a key Galop representative within a national landscape.
You will be responsible for ensuring that data collected about the service is consistent, thorough and appropriate in order to use for reporting, bid writing and evidencing the service provision offered. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Primary Duties:

Lead on developing and executing our digital fundraising strategy: working with our Digital Communications Manager to make sure it aligns with and feeds into our wider organisational digital strategy, as well as with the Head of Development to make sure it aligns with our wider fundraising strategy.

Management of our new CRM: we are in the process of selecting a new CRM solution to support fundraising at THL UK. This role will initially take responsibility for getting this implemented and embedded in the organisation, and then take on the day-to-day management and responsibility of the CRM to make sure we utilise the platform to its full potential and resolve any challenges or issues.

Coordinating our end of year fundraising appeal: our biggest of the year, working with our Digital Fundraiser to develop engaging content and communications, and with our Major Gifts Fundraiser and Head of Development to secure match funds and major gifts, to ensure we secure valuable income each year (this appeal raised over £100k in 2024). You’ll help set and track the targets and metrics for the campaign, and conduct post-campaign analysis to capture what we learn to inform our future activities.

With a focus on acquisition, retention, and conversion, work with our Digital Communications Manager to map out and develop donor journeys as part of our wider supporter journeys, using technological solutions to ensure supporters are progressing effectively.

Regularly assess and analyse supporter and donor data, using these insights to shape our strategy and activities. This includes monitoring engagement levels across various touch points, such as donating, volunteering, taking digital actions, or engaging with our communications, as well as evaluating segmentation and targeting of key audiences. Identify the data needed to inform decision-making and establish mechanisms to capture it effectively.

Work with the Finance Operations Lead to make sure all supporter and donation data in our CRM is accurate, complete and up-to-date: this includes ensuring that Gift Aid claims are regularly made, donation data is regularly reconciled with our finance system, that we have a holistic picture of our supporters, and we have a regular programme of data cleansing in place.

Ensure our donation processes are optimised: allowing us to minimise any possible friction on our donation pages and increase the percentage of those going on to make a donation. Ensuring that we have processes in place to capture abandoned baskets and failed payments, and any technical issues which could disrupt our ability to collect payments are monitored and resolved quickly, working with our technical partners or external experts where necessary.

Oversee the development of any new donation pages or donor data collection forms: whether those are created in-house or by an external consult or agency.

Make sure THL UK team members are getting what they need from our CRM and technical solutions. Ensuring that they are using systems correctly and consistently, to avoid poor practices which might result in bad data or sub-optimal functionality. Including access and user permissions, notifications and alerts for new donors and donations, training and support, and access to dashboards and reports needed to inform their work.

Manage any external support required to optimise our CRM and technological solutions: including our CRM partner, payment processing partner and any additional consultants or third parties. Work with them to make sure any technical issues or significant architectural changes are addressed.

Provide day-to-day support to our Digital Fundraiser: offering advice and guidance, working with them on campaigns and communications to help us achieve the goals as set out in our digital fundraising strategy, including regular pushes for key income streams such as regular giving.

Make sure we optimise any available budget to increase acquisition and conversion to help us achieve our strategic goals.

Keep colleagues up-to-date on our digital fundraising plans and make sure those plans are fed into our organisation-wide planning tools.

Look for opportunities for technology to enhance fundraising at THL UK, including use of AI.

Hours:
This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. The pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced to 30 hours per week, to be worked across Monday to Thursday, with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms for the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 37.5 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided. In the event that THL UK considers before the end of the trial period that the trial is having an adverse operational impact, we reserve the right to bring the trial to end on one month’s notice.

- Support the development of high-quality psychological practice for Children and Young People (CYP)
- Develop and maintain strategies and structures which ensure the highest standards of care, clinical practice and inter-agency working for mental health support across Barnardo's
- Identify opportunities to achieve economies of scale and efficiencies
- Work collaboratively to embed a culture of outcomes-based practice, review clinical outcomes of service delivery, and identify changes in practice to improve outcomes
- Work autonomously and collaboratively within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for governance of psychological practice within Barnardo's
- Propose and implement policy and service development changes within the organisation in respect of psychological and psychotherapy services
- Provide expertise and support to create, develop, deliver, and evaluate a suite of recognisable core service models focused primarily on mental health and wellbeing, including a range of therapeutic programmes of tiered support.
- Support evaluation of existing and new pilot models of integrated health and social care and identify and help to create new models within the health marketplace
- Support the digital transformation and web presence across all existing and new pilot sites including engagement and adoption, training, and evaluation of the suite of digital tools
- Input into major contract bid opportunities for mental health contracts/opportunities
You'll have:
Education/Knowledge
- Current HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
- Qualification in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society
- Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of psychological practitioners
Skills/Experience
- Working as a registered Clinical Psychologist, for a minimum of 5 years and specialising at a senior level in a clinical field relevant for the post
- Professional leadership or management of registered and pre-registered clinical psychologists and able to demonstrate examples of positive impact within service delivery
- Working in specialist mental health provision for children and young people, including multi-disciplinary working

Chell Perkins Ltd are looking for FOUR people who are passionate about bringing positive change through fundraising. We want to nurture a new generation of fundraisers to provide charities with access to exceptional fundraising support.
We offer a four-month/16-week fully paid traineeship (approx £1,733pm gross) working with real clients in a fundraising consultancy and gaining a recognised certificate with education credits towards CFRE to give you a real headstart in working in the charity sector. There are a number of vacancies at Chell Perkins, and at the end of the course trainees will be eligible to apply for a permanent position.
This immersive programme starts on 1st September 2025 and is home-based, with high-quality training and plenty of support from our experienced fundraising team.

Candidates should be aware that at present 70% of our partner charities come from a Christian background (churches or Christian charities). While it is not a requirement to be Christian, candidates must be happy to write for a faith-based audience.

This role is home-based; however, we hold quarterly in-person team days, and you may occasionally be required to work from client sites (nationally, with a North West focus).
The traineeship will start on 1 September and will run until 19 December 2025. Candidates must be available to start on the first day of the traineeship. Interviews and offers will take place from March onwards.

The responsibilities include:
- Ownership of the GPA’s technical IFRS16 accounting calculations, performing accurate and technically correct IFRS16 calculations for all relevant lease events, undertaking verifications, validations and checks
- Monthly reporting of IFRS16 financial performance, risks and opportunities
- Produce key information to support annual budgets and monthly forecasts for IFRS16. This will form part of SR bidding and Estimates, submissions to Cabinet Office & HMT. Respond to queries arising
- Support systems improvements behind IFRS16 accounting including accounting ledgers for IFRS16 transactions. Working with GPA’s outsourced Property Partner and supporting the development of accounting systems to ensure that IFRS16 accounting is accurate
- As required, supporting the production of GPA business cases/investment appraisals and ensuring that IFRS16 calculations are accurate
- Business partnering across GPA Directorates to ensure that IFRS16 impacts are understood and incorporated into all decision making
- Providing IFRS16 advice to finance and non-finance stakeholders across GPA. Supporting IFRS16 training across GPA Finance. Working towards becoming a subject matter expert on the application and reporting of IFRS16.
Key Skills & Experience
- A technically strong, confident qualified accountant
- It would be preferable to have experience of IFRS16 technical accounting, particularly in its application to property leases (as both landlord and tenant) - if no prior experience, then the candidate must have a technical aptitude and be prepared to work towards become an expert on IFRS16
- A commercially astute finance professional, capable of translating technical accounting requirements into language that will inform, advise, influence and inspire confidence in financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- A self-starter, comfortable with change and with the drive-to-drive continuous improvement
- Strong leadership skills to lead a team of mixed experience in a challenging and complex environment
- Good communication, networking and negotiation skills, capable of building relationships with both finance and non-finance professionals
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, planning, collaborating and delivering through others
- Down to earth, proactive and pragmatic
