The Talent Set is delighted to be working with a leading children’s charity to recruit a Brand Marketing Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation at an important stage in the development of its refreshed brand. You will lead and support integrated brand marketing activity, help embed the brand across the organisation and work closely with fundraising teams to deliver audience-led campaigns that build awareness, strengthen the charity’s reputation and support fundraising outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the planning, delivery and evaluation of integrated brand marketing campaigns and activity.
- Manage projects from initial briefing through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure campaigns are rooted in audience insight and represent the charity’s brand strategy and identity effectively.
- Work closely with fundraising teams to develop integrated, audience-led and brand-building campaigns.
- Champion the brand internally and help teams understand how it should be applied across communications, campaigns and partner activity.
- Support the continued implementation and embedding of the refreshed brand across the organisation.
- Develop ways to track and measure brand performance, using data and research to produce actionable insights.
- Monitor campaign and brand KPIs, making recommendations to improve future activity.
- Lead business-critical projects involving complex stakeholder groups and support collaborative decision-making.
- Plan and manage the internal brand communications calendar.
- Identify opportunities to build the charity’s brand and lead on bringing these ideas to life.
- Champion the organisation’s audience segmentation and commission research to deepen its understanding of key audiences.
- Manage relationships with creative, research and media planning agencies.
- Monitor competitor activity and wider brand trends, sharing relevant insights and ideas with colleagues.
- Oversee the charity’s awards calendar and manage award submissions.
- Share responsibility for managing the Brand Marketing team’s budget.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience of brand strategy and brand management, including implementing brand guidelines.
- Experience of leading successful marketing campaigns, from planning and audience targeting through to measurement and evaluation.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and budgets.
- Confidence managing and influencing senior stakeholders across complex projects.
- Experience of working with creative, research and media planning agencies.
- Experience of leading or commissioning research and turning findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong digital and data-analysis skills, with the ability to use data to improve brand and marketing performance.
- Experience within fundraising, marketing or the wider not-for-profit sector.
- A creative and audience-focused approach, with the ability to identify new opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting to stakeholders.
- Experience within the UK health sector and a relevant marketing qualification would be advantageous.

Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile brand marketing projects, working across the organisation to deliver campaigns that build awareness, support fundraising and strengthen one of the UK's best-loved charity brands.
This is a genuinely end-to-end marketing role. You'll work from campaign briefing and planning through to agency management, creative development, launch, evaluation and presenting results to stakeholders. Working with colleagues across fundraising, communications and the hospital, you'll balance strategic thinking with hands-on project delivery to bring ambitious ideas to life.
We're looking for someone who is confident managing multiple stakeholders, presenting recommendations to senior leaders and building strong relationships across a complex organisation. Salary
The salary for this position is £45,754 per annum and this is a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. In line with our hybrid working policy, there is a requirement to be in the office two days per week.
In line with our EDI strategy and Total Reward policy, we calculate our salaries based on benchmarking data across the charity sector. To ensure fairness for existing staff and new joiners, we do not offer salaries above the advertised rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated brand marketing campaigns from brief through to delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Manage campaign planning, timelines, budgets and agency relationships to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Work closely with fundraising, communications and other teams to develop marketing campaigns that support organisational priorities.
- Translate audience insight and brand strategy into compelling campaign activity across multiple channels.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, influencing decisions and ensuring campaigns remain aligned to brand objectives.
- Present campaign plans, recommendations and performance updates to a range of audiences, including senior leadership.
- Evaluate campaign performance and use insight to improve future marketing activity.
- Champion brand consistency while identifying new opportunities to strengthen how the brand is experienced across campaigns and communications.
- Plan and deliver internal brand communications, helping colleagues understand and apply the brand confidently.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns, from briefing and planning through to evaluation.
- Experience managing creative, media or integrated marketing agencies and external suppliers.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and building relationships across multiple teams and seniority levels.
- Experience presenting campaign plans, recommendations and results to a range of audiences, including senior leaders.
- Experience developing and applying brand strategy across campaigns and multiple marketing channels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and competing priorities.
- Experience using audience insight, research and campaign data to inform marketing decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas into clear and engaging marketing activity.
- A proactive, collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership and drive projects forward.

The Brand and Partnerships Marketing Manager will support the organisation in reaching even more deaf children and their families with compelling and exciting marketing and campaigns. With a refreshed brand in place, it's time to show how nothing holds deaf children back and anything is possible in memorable and impactful ways.
Core responsibilities within the role will include:
- Act as brand guardian to keep the organisation on track and aligned with new brand and values.
- Collaborate on exciting new brand partnerships including with strategic partners of the organisation
- Develop and support integrated marketing campaigns to support our work especially in the community
