This is an exciting opportunity to lead the operational delivery of services across Stockton on Tees and South Tees (Recar & Middlesbrough) area. The Operational Manager will provide strategic and operational management to our services in the Northeast and line management of 2 - 3 service managers.
Stockton services are delivered under our successful strategic partnership with Stockton Borough Council. This unique partnership was formed nearly 5 years ago with the aim of transforming service provision using a collaborative approach to service development and innovation. Our South Tees Perinatal service operates over Redcar and Middlesborough and are just entering a 3 year extension to our current contract.
Main Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership, management and supervision to operational services that provide Family Time sessions, Family Outreach support and Volunteering support, plus perinatal support to families.
· Ensure that services are delivered to a good quality standard in relation to practice and performance and that services can demonstrate their impact using evidence based outcomes tools.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
· Experience of providing effective management, leadership and safeguarding oversight of case work and group work based support services, which overall improve the lives of service users.
· Experience of setting up and/or managing innovative projects.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence and ability to present and communicate information effectively both in person and using a range of mediums to internal and external stakeholders, including children and young people, parents and carers, and funders.

About you:
The Data Integration and Automation Officer is an exciting role at MDUK, that will sit within the Finance and Resources Team.
You'll design, build, and maintain automated data synchronisations across organisational systems, taking ownership of end-to-end workflows from requirements through to implementation and handover.
You'll work closely with multiple departments to understand data requirements, modernise data processing practices, and deliver reliable automated data flows using tools such as APIs, Power Automate, and Python.

Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Implementation
Partner with the CEO to translate IMO’s strategic plan into a clear organisational roadmap with defined milestones, priorities and success measures. You will work collaboratively with the CEO to agree the order in which elements of the strategy should be prioritised, before turning this into the roadmap, milestones and delivery framework.
Work with the CEO and trustees to:
- Define strategic workstreams
- Establish measurable organisational KPIs
- Identify capability gaps and development needs
- Develop a structured strategy implementation framework that enables effective delivery across the organisation
Operating Model Design
Partner with the CEO to co-design IMO’s future operating model. This is a collaborative process, you will work closely with the CEO from the outset to shape the vision, ensuring the model reflects organisational priorities and is set up for successful implementation.
This will include:
- Programme structure and service architecture
- Governance and decision-making frameworks
- Internal processes and ways of working
- Data, reporting and impact measurement systems
- Team structures and capability requirements
Ensure the model supports sustainable growth, stronger partnerships and improved impact outcomes.
Business Planning and Financial Modelling
Develop a clear strategic business case underpinning the new strategy. This will include:
- Financial projections
- Income pipeline modelling

Provide analysis and recommendations to support board-level decision making.
Programme & Transformation Management
Act as programme lead for key strategic initiatives, including:
- Scaling of youth employability programmes

Work closely with the CEO to support organisational alignment around the new strategy. Responsibilities include:

As Legacy Case Manager, you will:
- Manage a caseload of residuary, pecuniary, life interest, discretionary, and high-value legacies, including contentious cases
- Lead on the preparation, monitoring and reporting of the legacy income budget and mid year forecasts, working closely with Finance and Fundraising colleagues to provide accurate, timely projections and variance analysis
- Work closely with internal teams and build effective external relationships with solicitors, executors and families to support positive outcomes
- Identify and resolve complex issues involving probate, trusts, tax, property, or litigation
- Represent Greenpeace UK externally with professionalism, fostering constructive relationships with pledgers, executors, solicitors, and sector peers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Charity Commission guidance, and ILM best practice
Essential skills and experience:
- Substantial experience in charity legacy and estate administration, both contentious and non-contentious
- Significant knowledge of probate, trusts, tax, and property issues relevant to legacy casework
- Strong understanding of sector best practice in legacy administration and charity law
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume and varied caseload to deadlines
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Diplomacy, empathy, and resilience in handling contentious or sensitive cases

A legal, probate, or legacy administration qualification is advantageous but not required.

What will I be doing?
You’ll be responsible for defining, planning and managing the delivery of cross‑organisational projects and programmes that deliver expected outcomes and benefits to the Institute and its stakeholders, including:

About the Role

- Secure a diverse portfolio of partnerships including multi-year strategic, six-figure, Charity of the Year, cause-related marketing, and sponsorship agreements.
- Create cultivation journeys for high-value prospects, maintaining momentum from first contact to close.
- Represent RLSS UK externally at meetings, events, and networking opportunities, confidently positioning the organisation with senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with commercial colleagues to ensure alignment and avoid overlap with existing commercial contracts.
Account Management
- Provide effective day-to-day relationship management to ensure partners feel supported, informed, and engaged with RLSS UK’s mission.
- Deliver clear partnership growth plans that maximise income, engagement, impact, and mutual benefit.
- Identify and activate opportunities to expand partnerships across corporate philanthropy, payroll giving, strategic volunteering, sponsorship, cause-related marketing, and employee engagement.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted and credible partner.
- Monitor partnership delivery against agreed KPIs and use insight to refine and strengthen activity over time.
- Produce high-quality written communications, proposals, and impact reports tailored to individual partners.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, Education, and Commercial teams to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery.
Reporting and Evaluation
- Use data-driven insights and KPIs to evaluate and refine strategies for maximum impact, income growth, and return on investment.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, UK GDPR, and RLSS UK policies.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting information within the CRM system.
- Deliver annual reviews for partnerships to demonstrate impact and ensure all partnerships are meeting agreed KPIS.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities to diversify income streams and enhance brand visibility.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- All other duties reasonably associated with your role, as directed by the Line Manager.
- Line management responsibility for the Supporter Engagement Executive, including performance and development, assigning day-to-day tasks and projects, and providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 by complying with internal information governance policies and maintaining up-to-date documentation as part of RLSS UK’s compliance programme.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Relevant Experience, Skills and/or Aptitudes
- Experience in business development, fundraising, partnerships, or relevant commercial roles.
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience securing and managing partnerships across at least two of:

- Confident pitching and negotiating with senior corporate leaders.
- Strong strategic thinking coupled with hands‑on delivery.

- Strong understanding of return on investment (ROI) and the ability to evaluate the effectiveness, sustainability, and value of fundraising activity.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and fundraising technologies, and how these support effective partnership programmes.
- Understanding of fundraising regulation, GDPR, and ethical fundraising practices.
- Experience managing budgets and ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Comfortable working in an environment where systems, processes, and programmes are being built from the ground up.

- Knowledge and understanding of RLSS UK.
- Previous experience of line management.
- Experience of working in a charity or organisation where corporate fundraising or partnerships have been developed from the ground up, including building systems, processes, and pipeline momentum.
- Experience working in a small team or start-up environment.
