PIN seeks a dynamic, mission-driven consultant to lead the implementation of the OWIS UK Growth Strategy — a four-month, grassroots plan to grow visibility, school engagement, and strategic partnerships across the UK.
The consultant will translate the strategy into action, working closely with the PIN UK team to test, learn, and build the foundations for long-term programme growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build Relationships with Schools and Teachers
• Gather qualitative insights from teachers about challenges and needs in addressing OWIS topics to ensure the OWIS content and approach (the OWIS “product”) is relevant and appropriate.
• Recruit and support 5-8 pilot schools to trial OWIS content and provide feedback.
• Engage teachers as champions and contributors to testimonials or case studies.
Build Product and Partnerships
• Establish strategic relationships with NGOs, academic partners and local authorities.
• Coordinate development of a simple UK-facing digital platform or landing page for content access.
• Curate and develop content, collaborating with aligned organisations to explore joint licensing or resource-sharing.
Build awareness and a model for cost-recovery
• Produce content for 2-3 online posts a month aligned with OWIS messaging.
• Work with PIN UK to pilot the 'Friends of One World' public donation initiative.
• Map and engage potential high-net-worth individuals and potential patrons.
• Demonstrate clear linkage between funding and measurable classroom impact.
• Provide recommendations for sustaining and scaling the UK programme post-consultancy.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
• Maintain a simple monitoring framework tracking outreach, engagement, and partnerships.
• Produce monthly progress updates and a final 4-month summary report outlining results, challenges, and next steps.
Expected Deliverables
• Minimum of 5 pilot schools actively engaged.
• 3–5 new strategic partnerships established or formalised.
• UK-facing landing page or MVP platform launched with curated content.
• Content for visibility building (thought-leadership pieces, testimonials)
• Impact summary (qualitative and quantitative) at the end of 4 months.
Requirements
• Experience working in or alongside the UK education system, ideally with teachers, schools, or education-focused NGOs.
• Proven experience in programme or outreach implementation — ideally in education, youth engagement, or communications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams.
• Demonstrated commitment to human rights, inclusion, and civic education.
• Right to work in the UK as per UK goverment regulations
Desirable
• Experience in fundraising, partnership development, or donor engagement.
• Understanding of UK PSHE, Citizenship, or Media Literacy curricula.
• Knowledge of content curation, digital platforms, or educational resource design.

The role:
Arrhythmia Alliance Group is recruiting a Senior Events Coordinator on a full-time, permanent, remote basis. Your skills will be essential in strengthening the Group’s profile through event planning, coordination, execution and evaluation.
Essential requirements:
- Experience in organising, marketing and facilitating healthcare and medical related events, liaison with both healthcare professionals and healthcare industries.
- Experience working with vendors and negotiating contracts.
- Must have experience promoting and advertising events across digital and traditional channels to maximise attendance and engagement.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and financial planning for events.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes.

Main responsibilities:
· Plan, coordinate, and execute a range of events.
· Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, transportation, accommodation, and catering arrangements.
· Agenda and room allocations.

· Evaluate each event’s success through feedback collection and analysis, making necessary recommendations for improvements.

· Support the production of recording healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers for educational webinars/events through but not limited to, Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
· Support the delivery of all Arrhythmia Alliance group events, projects, campaigns and initiatives, including but not limited to Heart Rhythm Update meetings, Heart Rhythm Congress (HRC) (our flagship annual congress), European Pacing Summit (EPS), Know Your Pulse, Defibs Save Lives, World Heart Rhythm Week and Global AF Aware Week.
Person specification:
- Educated to a minimum A-Level standard, with further relevant training, experience and professional development in marketing, event planning and execution.

Director of Fundraising and Development (Maternity cover)

JOB PURPOSE
The Director of Fundraising and Development (Maternity Cover) will provide strategic leadership and direction across all fundraising and income-generating activities, ensuring the charity continues to deliver against its financial objectives and accelerates long-term, sustainable growth across our philanthropic, public, and commercial income streams.
You will bring strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to equip, support, and empower the team through a period of organisational change. You will help the team optimise and make the most of the new organisational strategy, embedding strategic focus, effective decision-making, and collaborative leadership practices across the fundraising leadership group.
You will use your commercial acumen and fundraising expertise to identify opportunities and support the team to recognise, shape, and pursue them confidently and effectively, enabling them to take ownership and drive progress across all income streams. A key part of the role will be ensuring that new commercial and public sector income streams are recognised, understood, and capitalised on across the organisation, working closely with the newly established Head of Business Development to embed this focus and enable them to succeed in driving this work forward.
Working closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will play a crucial role in maintaining momentum, ensuring continuity, and supporting the organisation to deliver the new strategy and business plan, helping to realise opportunities, navigate challenges, and ensure long-term sustainability during this maternity cover period.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Driving income growth: establishing high-performing income pipelines across all income streams, with a strong multi-year focus, supported by robust data, reporting, and pipeline management.
- Integrating and accelerating public sector and commercial income streams: Ensuring newly integrated income areas are understood, valued and operational across the organisation.
- Embedding and executing a unified, co-owned fundraising and development strategy: Partnering with the CEO, SLT and Board to embed strategic focus, ensure integration, and alignment with organisational goals.

Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the South West region in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire or Somerset. There will be occasional travel around the South West Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the eight SSAFA branches in the South West, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a larger team of 10, which includes two Regional Casework Managers and a Regional Operations Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the South West would be valuable

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager with sector specific expertise to manage our collaborative programme in the UK apparel and general merchandise sectors following a strategic year focussed on the evolution of the programme from the previous Fast Forward initiative.
In this varied role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the UK Apparel and General Merchandise programme, provide developmental input and support the implementation of the key recent developments in the programme, as well as ensuring the programme maintains its integrity. You will manage relationships with all key stakeholders in the programme including brands, suppliers, audit bodies, third sector organisations and public bodies.
You'll also manage the quality assurance of the portfolio of Stronger Together assessment methodologies – including the Fair Work Audit operated in the UK manufacturing, service provision and construction sectors. And you’ll deliver, enhance and promote brand and supplier engagement including training workshops and webinars.
You’ll work with the Co-CEOs to ensure the programme delivers on target, on-time, on-budget, in line with the agreements and organisational objectives and guidelines.

As an experienced, motivated charity leader you will drive LHCPGs charitable aspirations through working with our partner charities, Lintel Trust in Scotland and Lifting Lives in England and Wales, so helping us deliver meaningful community benefit across the UK.
In this central role, that will require some travel as you attend meetings in Edinburgh and Uxbridge offices, you will ensure governance, lead strategic development, build partnerships, and support and facilitate fundraising and operational activity, ensuring our charitable work continues to improve lives and places.
What You’ll Do
- Lead governance, statutory compliance, and Trustee support across both Trusts.
- Work with Trustees to develop charity strategies, policies, and risk management frameworks.
