Considering a career as a Youth Worker?

Anyone working with children will tell you it’s an intense yet rewarding job. As a Youth Worker, you’ll be a source of support for young people who are struggling. This means you’ll help guide them with any issues they have surrounding their personal, social and educational development. Ultimately, you’re there to help them not only realise, but reach their full potential. This job may require you to work in a variety of settings with young people aged between 11 and 25 years old.

Qualifications and experience

  • A degree in a relevant subject desired
  • Experience working with young people
  • A clean DBS check is required as you will be working with children
