It’s not just any admin role doing data entry and computer work but very customer focused too and involving phone work. You’ll have an instant impact as you represent the Advice service often being the person that takes the first call, referral or enquiry into the service from someone affected by cancer. This may be from a cancer medical professional or someone going through cancer personally at any point from diagnosis. This means our administrators are professional people, they get the important information right from the outset and handle sensitive calls and communication with care and understanding showing resilience and reliability.
You’ll work in an organised way on IT systems and capture information on spreadsheets, scanning forms, inputting data, sending forms and calling our cancer service users with updates and collecting key information from them. It means as a first point of contact, you’re an independent and sensible thinker who has focus and confidence and can adapt to the type of work needed.
It’s a busy, involved and varied role where you’ll work as part of a team, responding to the workload and keeping focus on shared goals and adapting to priorities.
The role requires a minimum weekly attendance at our Cardiff Head office where you’ll work closely with team members, meet and greet visitors, handle post, receive and make calls and perform admin duties. Whilst you can have an option to work from home a lot it’s important you can commute to Cardiff regularly each week with a higher concentration of office time during your induction and probation period for training and team interaction days.

This is a hands-on and strategic role for an experienced fundraiser who thrives in a small to medium sized charity environment. You will have autonomy to develop a whole new fundraising strategy, utilising diverse fundraising methods, and building and developing new project ideas and partnerships. Role Requirements
· In collaboration with the Placement Managers, you will ensure care is appropriately planned and resourced, and you will ensure care is delivered in a safe manner at all times.

About the role:
Supporting the delivery of Zoe’s Place overall income generation strategy, by researching, record keeping, applying and reporting to a portfolio of trusts and foundations to deliver long term sustainable income growth for the Trust. Overall accountability for capital projects across the Trust
Key Responsibilities:
Account manage the trust and foundations fundraising function
- Contribute to the maintenance of a comprehensive database for both hospice sites of all relevant grant making trusts and keep up to date with changes in the sector.
- Develop and write applications and bids to a wide range of funders as required.
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising and fundraising colleagues to ensure all funding opportunities are maximised
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing funding partners.
- Work collaboratively with Director of Clinical Services, clinical teams and finance to prepare bids and reports.
- Ensure funding partners receive timely and appropriate information about the progress and outcomes of projects including written reports and evaluation in accordance with requirement.

- Organise visits and tours for trustees of charitable foundations if requested to both Middlesbrough and Coventry sites.

- Use our fundraising CRM and in line with GDPR to ensure accurate and timely record keeping allowing for good stewardship.
- Carry out detailed research on prospective foundations, identify and maintain a calendar for submitting applications.
- Working with an income pipeline / tracker to ensure accurate and timely financial forecasting, identifying risk to income and mitigating accordingly.

You will be part of a small energetic and committed team supporting the delivery of Northamptonshire Community Foundation’s philanthropy and income generation ambitions. The role
Working as part of our Family Support Team and wider multidisciplinary team, you will lead the development of spiritual care across the hospice and provide specialist support to those experiencing spiritual or existential distress.
You will help ensure that spiritual care is inclusive and accessible to people of all faiths, beliefs and life stances, recognising that spirituality is about far more than religion.
The role provides the chance to support peoples’ needs at a crucial time of their life, offering a place to explore their illness and emotional wellbeing, any anxieties and fear, concerns about their family and what the future looks like, focusing on coping strategies which they can use to empower them or bring peace and clarity.
Through your work you will:
- Offer compassionate spiritual and pastoral support to patients, families and carers

About you
You will bring both professional expertise and deep compassion. You will have:
- A recognised pastoral care, counselling or spiritual care qualification
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. hospice or healthcare chaplaincy association)
- Experience supporting people through complex emotional or spiritual distress
- Strong understanding of diverse faith traditions, beliefs and cultural perspectives
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent listening, communication and reflective practice skills
Experience within palliative care or healthcare would be beneficial, but most important is your commitment to compassionate, inclusive and person-centred care.
