The CAS Community Food Partnership is intended to support Food Projects (i.e., Foodbanks, Food Pantries, Top Up Shops, & Community Fridges to name a few) with capacity building and diversifying their operations – enabling them to support their communities and users, with overcoming challenges related to food and income insecurity. The project delivers activities across the county, with each Officer acting as a dedicated point of contact for each district. Activities range from supporting awareness raising of local services (i.e., Healthy Start, Affordable Food information, Cooking Projects) through social media channels to supporting Food Projects to become more resilient, including looking at their food supply chain and supporting the development of innovative solutions.

As the Community Food Partnership Manager you will provide strategic direction, and management to a team of four, and work with partners to ensure the outcomes of the project are met. You will have a good level of knowledge of infrastructure/capacity building support and be an experienced Manager of people. You should have an awareness and understanding of the challenges facing the voluntary sector and be skilled at developing partnerships, be able to demonstrate sound financial acumen, and the ability to navigate multiple priorities.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
• Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager
• Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
• Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
• Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials
• Enter and maintain accurate records on our Database
• Maintain and assist with all types of donation processing, administration and Database record amendments/records being kept up to date. This will include Gift Aid status and contact consent requests
• Assist with cancelling and amending all types of regular gifts and sending out appropriate letters
• Manage the removal process and consent process
• Assist with sending out problem payment letters
• Following up cancelled regular payments as part of the winback process
• Assist with handling material requests and recording actions on the Database
• Assist with any third-party agency supporter care requests
• Maintain sensitive information and records with appropriate confidentiality
• Play an active role in developing the supporter journey at Operation Smile UK, working with the Senior Supporter Care Manager and colleagues across Fundraising & Communications.

• Lead in-house web development, initiating a cultural shift to minimise reliance on external agencies for website and platform creation.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's data and digital strategy.
• Serve as the technical product owner for all of OSUK's websites, digital & email platforms.
• Take full ownership of the Gravity Forms to Donorfy Custom API integration.
• Flare for producing modern, stylish and accessible designs, to support campaigns, general website conversion performance and brand.

With line management responsibility of the Finance Officer, you will be an accredited qualified accountant, preferably with non-profit sector experience, with the ability to lead on the financial management of the organisation.

The Finance Manager is accountable for:

• Financial strategy and planning

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate a strong track record of managing a finance function producing budgets, management accounts, cash flow forecasts and financial reports

• Be able to conduct financial scenario planning and cost analysis to proactively contribute to the strategic and operational planning and improvement of the organisation (i.e. in the case of investments and capital assets, grant applications, contract tendering, customer pricing, and credit control.)
• Be an efficient, highly organised team player with good communication skills, working effectively with internal colleagues, external stakeholders and suppliers of varying financial experience.
• Provide excellent line management and role modelling for your reports and colleagues to encourage professional development.
• An accredited qualified accountant (ACCA) (CIMA) or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably within the non-profit sector
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Sage 50, Quickbooks and/or another similar accounting software

A few practical things:

In this exciting role you will work within the small Communciations & Fundraising Team to maximise income generation from individual givers through your ability to manage outstanding supporter care, accurate database management and targeted marketing via email, post, and social media.

You will hold key responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of all our fundraising and marketing data and be responsible for ensuring the correct targeting of all marketing approaches. You will work closely with, and in support of all other members of the Fundraising and Communications teams. If you have experience of managing volunteers, all the better.

You will conduct and present excellent analysis on all marketing activity with clear recommendations for improvements to fundraising communications alongside donor/donation and database management.

Using your CRM and database knowledge, you can play a key role in the management of donor management but also the wider data support for the charity. it is an exciting time at Doctors of the World, with a diverse portfolio of projects supporting those who are excluded from health in the UK.

Philanthropy team, you will manage your own portfolio of charitable trusts and support the developing major donor and statutory funding relationships as required. You will be helping us beat macular disease by talking with funders and writing bespoke funding applications for support services, medical research and core costs. Diligently recording all relationship information and communications on our database.

The Post-Diagnosis Support Programme Manager is a key role at ReMind UK, working across ReMind UK's departments to plan and co-ordinate the delivery of our post-diagnosis interventions. The role works in partnership with local organisations and groups across Bath and North East Somerset, to drive an insight-driven, fully evaluated programme of events and courses at the ReMind UK centre and in local venues.  Working closely with ReMind UK's Head of Engagement, Project Co-Ordinator, Chief Executive Officer, and Volunteering and Engagement Coordinator, the post holder will lead on the annual planning, delivery and evaluation of interventions, project managing a small team of facilitators and volunteers and line managing the Project Co-ordinator.
