No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.
We are seeking Event Nurses to respond to and manage emergency calls/incidents whilst attending events. Event nurses shall provide specialist, clinical, social and holistic care and undertake clinical assessment and interventions in the pre-hospital environment, which may include venues such as stadia, concert halls, motorsports tracks, road races, etc. This will mainly involve working in treatment units or temporary event medical centres.
Successful candidates will be registered nurses with the NMC and will be able to provide evidence of CPD activity within the previous 12 months.

We require the successful candidate's to assist with the Tamworth Network in Community Engagement Events and Fundraising Events. This will involve setting up and putting away the Gazebo's, Flags, Promotional Material and Equipment. Will also include speaking to members of the public about St John and what we do, and how they can get involved and help save lives. Also could include asking people for donations at fundraising events.
When the interview has been passed and screening for the role is complete you will be invited to a short Network induction and meet the other members of the network in Tamworth.
The Induction will take place if successful at the Interview and screening complete.
Training will be provided at Network Meeting Nights which take place Thursday Evenings 7:30 PM until 9pm Approx.

Do you live in Sefton? Do you want to be the difference between a life saved and a life lost? We're now recruiting for Community First Aiders across Sefton (including Southport, Formby, Waterloo, Crosby and Maghull).
The volunteers would be expected to attend their network meeting on a regular (at least monthly basis) and partake in a range of operational events.
Interviews would take place in early to mid October 2025. This event will include an informal chat with some of our current volunteers, a quick introduction to St John Ambulance (and an opportunity to learn some lifesaving skills!) as well as screening checks.
