We are looking for visionary, creative, and detail-oriented individuals to join us as Volunteer Graphic Designers, helping bring our mission to life through compelling visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities
- Design branded materials including flyers, posters, digital assets, presentations, infographics, reports, and social media content
- Assist in developing visual campaigns for events, fundraising drives, and programmes such as Degrees of Opportunity and I’m One of a Million
- Maintain consistency with existing brand guidelines across all visuals
- Work collaboratively with the communications and marketing teams to create engaging visual content
- Update and refine existing design assets as needed
- Support in the creation of print and web-ready formats for campaigns and public communications
- Participate in virtual check-ins and planning meetings as required
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or Canva
- Strong understanding of visual communication, layout, and typography
- Ability to take creative direction and work independently
- Keen attention to detail and consistency
- Understanding of branding and audience-centred design

We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about education, social justice, and the power of student-led change. As a Trustee, you’ll help shape MDXSU’s strategic direction, scrutinise finances, and ensure we’re fulfilling our charitable purpose.

- Optional involvement in sub-committees (4 additional online meetings annually)
- Occasional away days or events
- All reasonable expenses covered, with travel and accommodation booked by MDXSU

About You
We are looking for an experienced, committed person with deep expertise in safeguarding and the ability to support and challenge effectively, make good judgment and come to sound decisions.
