About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated Philanthropy and Relationships Manager to lead the development of our major donor programme. Job Title:Freelance Facilitator

As an Acquisition Executive, you will play a pivotal role in growing our supporter base and driving income to ensure we can continue to provide our essential services. Safe Zones provides short-term step-down crisis support to young people experiencing mental health crises, offering a safe and supportive environment. As Service Manager you will lead and coordinate the delivery of mental health early help services across Greater Manchester, ensuring all aspects of service delivery for children and young people are delivered safely, effectively and to a consistently high standard in line with contractual requirements.

IPSEA (Independent Provider of Special Education Advice) is a national charity working to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) receive the educational support they are legally entitled to. Since we were formed in 1983, we have helped to improve the education experience of thousands of children and young people across England. We do this by providing free and independent legal advice and casework support for families, undertaking policy work and delivering training on the SEND legal framework.

We are seeking a Policy Manager to lead IPSEA's policy and influencing work to achieve positive change for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Legal and Training, trustees and colleagues across the organisation, you will set strategic policy priorities and develop evidence-based influencing plans that support IPSEA's mission and long-term objectives.

Drawing on insights from our advice and tribunal services, legal expertise and the experiences of families, you will identify systemic issues within the SEND system and develop policy solutions that improve children and young people's access to the support and education to which they are entitled. You will ensure that IPSEA's policy positions are credible, legally robust and informed by the lived experiences of those we support.

You will lead IPSEA's engagement with government, Parliament and other key decision-makers, identifying opportunities to influence legislation, policy and practice at both national and local level. This includes overseeing responses to consultations, parliamentary inquiries and calls for evidence, as well as preparing briefings and strategic advice to support senior-level engagement and advocacy.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across legal, communications, fundraising and training teams, you will ensure IPSEA's policy, campaigning and public affairs activities are aligned and maximise the organisation's impact. You will also monitor developments across the political, legal and policy landscape, helping IPSEA respond proactively to emerging opportunities and challenges affecting the rights of children and young people with SEND.

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of our marketing and communications work. You’ll turn ideas into action, delivering engaging campaigns, compelling storytelling and consistent communications across all our channels. Working closely with the team across Become, external stakeholders and care-experienced young people to grow our reach, you'll build brand trust and strengthen our position as the national voice for care-experienced young people.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in digital marketing, an eye for design and a passion for amplifying young people’s voices. A natural collaborator, you’ll enjoy working in a dynamic environment that encourages proactive thinking, experimentation and ongoing learning.

Location

Our team work remotely from home, with some required in-person meetings (generally expected once or twice per month). In-person meetings usually take place in our office space in Old Street, London and Become covers the cost of travel within Great Britain for essential in-person meetings.

The Old Street office space is available for team members to work from if preferred/needed. For non-London based team members hot-desking options near you can be requested if required.

Job purpose: We are looking for a Clinical Lead to provide visible clinical leadership and assurance across Brake’s National Road Victim Service and wider organisational clinical practice, ensuring that services are safe, evidence-led, trauma-informed and consistently delivered.

The role will lead clinical governance and safeguarding development, strengthen quality assurance and risk management, provide specialist clinical and safeguarding guidance, and build workforce confidence through learning, reflective practice and professional development.

Working closely with leaders, managers and practitioners, the Clinical Lead will promote accountability for clinical standards, support consistent quality across regional teams and ensure learning from incidents, complaints, reviews and audits translates into service development.

The postholder will act as the lead for trauma-informed practice within NRVS and support the embedding of trauma-informed approaches across the wider organisation, ensuring practice reflects current evidence, professional standards and changes in the external landscape.

The role will support service resilience and operational improvement from a clinical perspective, including monitoring risks to safe service delivery, identifying opportunities to improve impact and efficiency, and helping ensure client outcomes are achieved before case closure.
