We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Coordinator, working 28 hours per week, to lead the delivery of Project Unity across England. Project Unity provides high-quality, rights-based advocacy and intensive support to care-experienced young mothers who are pregnant or have recently given birth, helping to empower young mothers, strengthen outcomes and prevent children from entering care.
About Project Unity England
Project Unity England improves outcomes for care-experienced young mothers and their children through collaborative, multi-agency working, delivered through cluster-based areas bringing together local stakeholders for coordinated, community-focused support. Cluster one is based around London and cluster two around Yorkshire, with a third cluster area to be identified in year three. Travel between cluster areas is expected, particularly from year two onwards.
As Project Coordinator, you will support delivery and development of Project Unity within your assigned cluster areas, working closely with partners and internal teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating project activities and line managing senior practitioners
- Supporting planning, implementation and monitoring of local initiatives
- Facilitating communication between partners and stakeholders
- Organising professional meetings, workshops and events
- Tracking progress and sharing best practice across clusters
This role offers the chance to work across diverse cluster areas, influence at both local and Parliamentary level, and make a direct impact on services for care-experienced young mothers and their children.
About the role
You will provide day-to-day leadership of Project Unity, supporting a team of Project Workers and volunteers to deliver high-quality, advocacy-led, trauma-informed support that empowers young mothers to understand their rights and have their voices heard.
Working with local authorities, health partners, safeguarding networks and community organisations, you will build relationships and referral pathways, monitor outcomes, and identify opportunities to strengthen and grow the service – leading meaningful work within a values-led organisation.
About you
You are passionate about supporting vulnerable young people and families, confident leading teams within a trauma-informed environment, and able to balance operational oversight with a person-centred approach.
You will have experience working with vulnerable young people or families in a social care, advocacy or support setting, alongside experience managing or supervising staff and/or volunteers, plus a strong understanding of safeguarding frameworks and relevant legislation. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound professional decisions, demonstrating NYAS’s values of Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Empowerment.

The Role
We are looking for an Advice & Guidance Officer who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of deaf children, young people, and their families.
A key focus of this role will be delivering the service remotely using technology. In addition, you will use your interpersonal skills and experience working with families to connect with local community groups, raise awareness of our services, promote membership, and provide support to families, deaf young people, and professionals.
This role is part time, based on 21 hours per week.
This is a fully remote role, but will have a focus on Central Scotland Casework and will require some regional travel so applicants should live in Scotland and possess a driving licence and have access to a car.

Role Purpose
Responsible for helping to ensure the effective delivery of the Regional Fundraising strategy in relation to generating sustainable income from third parties and campaigns. You will primarily focus on recruiting support from community groups and associations, businesses and individuals across the North as well as supporting the growth and diversity of the challenge events portfolio.
You will plan, market, deliver and grow your portfolio ensuring all objectives, financial and non-financial are achieved, with an active focus on cost-effective ideas, growth and contingency plans.
Working closely with our service delivery teams across the UK to develop fundraising lead networks, building a robust and community driven income pipeline. You will build powerful, local relationships across your region, and ensure every supporter has an exceptional fundraising experience.
Main Responsibilities
· Support the development and implementation of a fundraising plan to maximise income generation across the designated area, in line with the overall fundraising strategy
· Build knowledge of Child Bereavement UK supporters in the area and develop a community of supporters who have a tangible relationship with our work
· Build relationships with individual supporters, community organisations, faith groups, schools and education facilities, regional corporates and challenge event participants
· Contribute to the development of annual income and expenditure budgets, monitoring results and contributing to regular reforecasts, mitigation and contingency planning to ensure budget is achieved.

The opportunity
You'll manage and steward a large portfolio of challenge event participants, helping them maximise their fundraising potential and delivering an exceptional supporter journey from registration through to event day and beyond.
Working closely with fundraising, marketing, and supporter care colleagues, you'll develop meaningful relationships with supporters, provide personalised fundraising advice and encouragement, and create memorable experiences that inspire long-term support for Action for Children.
As part of a growing and ambitious team, you'll also contribute to the development of our wider challenge events portfolio, helping us identify opportunities to improve supporter experience, increase income, and grow participation across a range of nationally recognised events. Action for Children's challenge events portfolio includes flagship events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run, and a range of other popular challenge events throughout the year.

Role Purpose
The Relationship Fundraiser will support the Philanthropy Manager to secure and increase income through the charity’s Philanthropy strategy.
The post holder will support with developing a robust pipeline of prospects and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing major donor relationships. You will be creative and analytical and provide first class research, administration, relationship management and database skills and provide excellent donor stewardship.
Main Responsibilities
· Work with the Philanthropy Manager to prepare and implement creative donor cultivation and stewardship plans to secure new donors and develop current relationships, including:
- Creative cases for support with associated budgets.
- Adapting information for specific donors using different approaches for different audiences.
- Developing engaging thank you letters and reports.
· Manage an agreed portfolio of mid-value major donor relationships and prospects, with the support of the Philanthropy Manager and deliver excellent stewardship and tailored fundraising proposals.
· Provide timely and high-quality updates to donors on the charity’s activities and impact and value of gifts. Work with the Communications team to ensure that major donor supporters receive engaging and relevant marketing materials.
· Research and identify potential donors to build a strong list of prospects, matching against key fundraising priorities, to maximise opportunities and build a healthy prospect pipeline.
· Develop processes and systems to ensure the effective management of all relevant information, including keeping all records up to date on the CRM database (Sales Force) including all actions, communications and proposals in-line with the monthly KPIs and analyse to identify further opportunities.
· Support your line manager with income tracking and processing, contributing to financial targets, re-forecasts, budgeting and reporting.
· Be an active and supportive member of the Fundraising team and wider CBUK team, contributing to the Fundraising team’s development and targets as well as working collaboratively with colleagues.
· Ensure all associated activities are compliant with charity law, regulatory requirements and best practice, including those of the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
· Develop strong working knowledge of these areas of income generation and the wider fundraising and charity sector.

The goal of PSTT is to make science more accessible and attractive to children of primary school age throughout the UK.
