Purpose of the Fundraising Department

The International Fundraising Department within Greenpeace International (GPI) ensures a clear focus on global income opportunities and challenges in partnership with National and Regional Offices (NROs). The department manages global fundraising sources, contributes to and coordinates global fundraising work, provides strategic focus for GPI fundraising specialists, and provides senior strategic guidance and leadership across the Greenpeace Network. 

Purpose of role

The International Philanthropy Manager is accountable for designing and implementing the Global Fundraising Strategy as it relates to major giving, including strategic partnerships, institutional funders, individual major donors, legacies, and capital campaigns. This role leads the teams behind major global initiatives, including a €100 million capital campaign for a new ship and the Priority Global Funders strategy—while providing strategic leadership, support, and advice to both Greenpeace International and independent National and Regional Organisations (NROs).

Primary responsibilities

Global fundraising strategy

● Lead and manage the design and implementation of the Global Fundraising Strategy as it relates to major giving, including strategic partnerships with institutional funders and individual major donors, legacy, and capital campaigns.

● Accountable for the design and implementation of the Key Relationships area of the Global Fundraising Strategy, including tracking and monitoring the success of its implementation.

● Lead, advise, and support the work done by GPI fundraising staff and NRO leaders in the key relationships area.

● Collaborate across GPI functions and departments to ensure alignment and integration of the Key Relationships Strategy with other organisational objectives, strategies, and plans.

People management

● Lead, manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of fundraising managers and coordinators across various areas of high value fundraising.

● Provide task management and direction to staff from other areas of International Fundraising and across GPI departments who contribute to fundraising deliverables. 

● Drive team performance through objective setting, performance reviews, coaching and development to ensure fundraising objectives are met.

National and Regional Organisation (NROs) support

● Oversee strategic and operational support provided to NROs to build the fundraising capacity and expertise required to deliver ambitious fundraising strategies and goals based on the respective market potential.

● Provide strategic advice and support to NROs for the development of the philanthropy and legacy elements of their 3-Year Strategic Plans and their annual organisational development plans.

● Support NROs in recruiting and onboarding experienced fundraising directors and strategic fundraising roles.

Communities and stakeholders

● Strengthen the fundraising director’s community of practice alongside fellow Strategic Fundraising Managers and the International Fundraising Director to foster a collaborative space for addressing global fundraising challenges and opportunities.

● Facilitate regular exchanges with other key leadership communities (such as Engagement and Programme Leaders) in areas of joint interest. 

● Build strong working relationships with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders to represent Greenpeace’s interests and enable effective cooperation and knowledge-sharing across fundraising areas.

● Foster collaboration with cross-functional departments (such as Development, Technology, Finance and Programme) to co-design and implement highly engaging campaigns with strong fundraising potential and deliver robust proposals for key funders.

Financial, policy, and systems management

● Ensure the effective budgeting, management, and expenditure of internal resources.

● Oversee the budgeting and reconciliation of income from Priority Global Funders, individual major donors, and legacy gifts to GPI. 

● Serve as the product owner for the key relationships CRM.

● Hold responsibility for the development and implementation of global policies related to key relationships fundraising. 

Profile

Skills and qualifications

● Significant (7 years +) experience in a senior fundraising management role with a focus on philanthropy, of which at least four years leading international teams.

● Experience leading a capital campaign.

● Strong leadership abilities with experience building and developing exceptional teams to achieve fundraising goals.

● Strong track record of developing successful global proposals for large funders.

● Track record of leading the design and implementation of impactful global fundraising strategies.

● Track record of developing and delivering cross-functional fundraising strategies with multiple fundraising techniques.

● Track record of contributing to successful change management processes.

● Significant experience in systemic and strategic thinking.

About the Role 

We are seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial and relationship-focused Partnerships & Engagement Manager to lead the development of new income streams from philanthropists and the wider public. 

This is an exciting opportunity to build and grow a fundraising portfolio that will support One World in Schools in the UK, while also generating funding for PIN’s broader humanitarian and development programmes internationally. 

The successful candidate will cultivate and steward major donors, develop compelling fundraising propositions, and identify innovative ways to engage supporters with the impact of our work. Communications & Collaboration 

• Work closely with staff from PIN UK staff as well as PIN’s international offices to develop engaging fundraising campaigns and donor communications.

Thanks to funding from the Movement for Health Grant Scheme, we're creating an exciting new fixed-term role to develop the MS Warrior Alumni Club. Building on the success of the 12-week MS Warrior programme, you'll help create opportunities for people to remain active, connected and supported long after the programme ends through local activities, online communities and volunteer-led peer support.

Working alongside volunteers, people living with MS, healthcare professionals and community partners, you'll create opportunities that encourage ongoing physical activity, wellbeing and peer support across Scotland.

A key part of the role will be recruiting, supporting and developing a network of MS Warrior Alumni Champions. Using their own lived experience, these volunteers will encourage others to build confidence, overcome barriers to physical activity and become part of a supportive, community-led network.

You'll also develop partnerships with leisure providers, community organisations and healthcare professionals, creating more inclusive opportunities for people living with MS to be active in their local communities.

This is an opportunity to shape an innovative model that has the potential to influence how community-based physical activity and peer support are delivered for people living with MS across Scotland.

No two days will be the same. One day you might be facilitating a community conversation with people living with MS, the next you'll be supporting volunteers, developing new partnerships or helping launch a local wellbeing activity.

We're looking for an experienced major gifts or capital fundraising professional who thrives on building exceptional relationships and securing transformational support. At National Galleries of Scotland, you'll help secure the future of one of the world's great art collections, cared for on behalf of the nation. You'll raise transformational philanthropic support for projects that preserve Scotland's national collection, expand public access and create lasting cultural impact.

We're looking for a strategic and relationship-focused fundraiser with experience leading complex, high-value fundraising campaigns. You'll be equally confident working with major donors, senior colleagues, Trustees and volunteer leaders. You'll combine excellent judgement with strong planning skills, bringing together people, resources and fundraising strategy to deliver ambitious campaign goals.

While initially focused on The Art Works, you will have a longer-term remit to help shape future capital fundraising priorities that emerge from our strategic ambitions. You’ll personally progress high-value donor relationships while ensuring fundraising campaigns are strategically structured, insight-led, appropriately resourced and effectively delivered.

You'll help broaden our philanthropic reach by expanding a strong and diverse prospect base across local, national and international audiences. This includes developing approaches to high-value and discreet funders and making the best use of senior volunteers and networks.

The difference you’ll make
Reporting to the Head of Development, you will:

• Provide excellent strategic management of capital fundraising campaigns across the organisation, with an immediate focus on The Art Works as well as responsibility for supporting the planning and delivery of future campaigns, including the Mound Level Galleries redevelopment and other major capital priorities.
• Contribute to the development of long-term capital fundraising strategies, campaign plans and prospect pipelines to support future organisational priorities beyond The Art Works, ensuring continuity of donor engagement and campaign readiness.
• Translate campaign strategy, timelines and gift table requirements into clear delivery plans and actions across teams.
• Monitor progress toward income and activity targets, identify variances early and recommend tactical adjustments based on internal insight and external conditions.
• Lead the development and maintenance of campaign reporting, including dashboards, risk logs, income phasing and governance papers.
• Engage directly with major donors, trusts and foundations to cultivate, solicit and steward high-value gifts, working with senior colleagues, Trustees and Campaign Board members as appropriate to maximise outcomes.
• Oversee and direct cultivation and stewardship activity across the capital campaigns team, ensuring delivery of agreed fundraising strategies and a structured and strategic approach to progressing prospects and delivering income targets, while working closely with the wider Development team to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to donor engagement.
• Expand the philanthropic prospect base by identifying new opportunities and supporting approaches to high‑value or discreet funders.
• Oversee the preparation of high‑quality briefings, materials and follow‑up for senior‑level donor meetings and solicitations.
• Coordinate all donor hospitality activity for the campaign, liaising with colleagues across the Development team and other teams as required, including events, briefings, site visits and other cultivation opportunities.
• Lead the implementation of donor recognition and stewardship frameworks, ensuring consistent, high‑quality supporter experiences.
• Ensure operational readiness for the public phase of the campaign, coordinating colleagues across Development, Communications and Visitor Experience to create effective giving pathways and engagement opportunities.
• Provide day‑to‑day direction to the Development Manager – Capital Campaigns; the Campaigns Coordinator and other team members (to be brought in on a temporary basis as required at key campaign stages) to support high standards of documentation, planning and internal communication.
• Promote collaborative, inclusive working practices across the team and wider organisation.

Who we are looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following range of knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Significant leadership experience in capital or multi‑year fundraising campaigns with £multi-million targets.
• Experience of developing and sustaining a portfolio of high net worth prospects at 5, 6 and 7-figure levels including discreet and invite-only funders.
• Experience modelling and managing fundraising cash flow, campaign pacing and income phasing across multiple fundraising priorities, ensuring alignment with organisational and project delivery requirements.
• Ability to expand donor networks at local, national, and international level.
• Strong presentation and writing skills, with the ability to influence, articulate complex ideas and inspire support.
• Experience planning and delivering high‑quality cultivation events and donor engagements.
• Strong understanding of fundraising sector trends, major donor behaviour and the philanthropic landscape.
• Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, including Directors, Trustees, volunteer fundraising campaign board members and other high‑level advocates.
• Strong knowledge of UK charitable giving and tax considerations relevant to fundraising.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to act on initiative while exercising good judgement about when to involve others.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with confidence interpreting financial, pipeline and performance data.
• Experience using CRM/database systems such as Spektrix or similar.

It would also be great if you have

• Experience of fundraising for multiple capital projects and transitioning donor relationships between successive major campaigns. Knowledge of the arts, culture, heritage, community engagement or education sectors.
• Understanding of how environmental sustainability, climate action and low‑energy design influence contemporary philanthropic priorities.
• Enthusiasm for the mission and work of the National Galleries of Scotland.
• Experience of fundraising in an international context, particularly in North America and Asia.

The School for Social Entrepreneurs backs people with purpose — entrepreneurs building organisations that change their communities. We're looking for a National Partnerships Lead to work directly with our CEO, driving high-priority national funding partnerships, diversifying our income, and building the relationships that fund our impact. 

You'll identify major funding opportunities, negotiate with trusts, corporates and government partners, and lead complex proposals from first conversation through to a signed agreement — including the budgets, risk assessments and value propositions behind them. You'll also act as a sounding board for the CEO, pressure-testing ideas and sharpening how we tell our story to funders. 

We're looking for sustained experience supporting a CEO or senior leader, a track record of leading multi-million pound funding initiatives end-to-end, and the versatile writing skills to move between board papers and detailed funder tenders without losing accuracy under pressure. Sharp budgeting and numeracy matter for this role, alongside real comfort building trust with senior external stakeholders. 

This position is for someone who thrives on ambiguity, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants their work to directly fund entrepreneurs changing their communities. 

Context of role:
The Outreach Officer plays a key role in raising awareness of services, strengthening community
partnerships and supporting the delivery of high-quality bereavement support activities across the
region. The postholder will engage with local networks, coordinate events, and support volunteers while ensuring effective monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement.
This role sits initially within Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire, but will expand to support phase 3 of the expansion which will include the West Midlands, Warwickshire and

1. Event Coordination and Delivery
1.1: Coordinate and deliver regular community engagement activities, including; coffee mornings and

1.4: Co-lead on bookings and coordination of Ty Uchaf, our respite house.

(CYP) and Bereavement in workplace support training.

The purpose of this role is to lead the design and delivery of learning programmes that help social entrepreneurs create lasting impact. You’ll take direct responsibility for facilitating cohorts as well as leading 1-2-1 coaching and diagnostics, and delivering Action Learning Sets, SSE’s long-standing peer-coaching method (training provided). You’ll hold accountability for the quality of programmes allocated to you. You’ll work alongside our learning facilitators and our learning and enterprise development managers to ensure every programme stays true to our action learning approach.

As SSE deepens its focus on commercial acumen and scale-up support, you’ll help make sure that direction reaches every cohort you work with — keeping your programmes as sharp, practical and impactful as everything else we do. You’ll bring your own commercial awareness to how you facilitate, and build relationships with contributors, speakers and specialists who can bring real-world commercial expertise into the room for your cohorts.

Social entrepreneurs scaling their ventures face a specific set of challenges including income generation, hiring, governance, hard calls about growth and risk, all alongside scaling their social impact. We’re recruiting learning and enterprise development managers who’ve lived that journey themselves, to bring first-hand credibility and challenge directly to the entrepreneurs on our scale-up and scale-up-plus programmes.

You’ll hold ownership of SSE’s scale-up approach, shaping our learning content on strategy, profitability and the systems that hold a growing venture together – grounded in what actually works, not just what’s written down. Facilitation sits at the heart of this role. You’ll design and deliver learning programmes and group sessions for cohorts of entrepreneurs as well as leading 1-2-1 coaching and diagnostics, and delivering Action Learning Sets, SSE’s long-standing peer-coaching method (training provided).

We’re looking for people who’ve founded or led a VCSE with an annual turnover of £100,000 or more and held financial accountability such as statutory reporting to the Charity Commission and, where relevant, Companies House, reporting to a board or funders, and making hard calls about growth, income and risk.
