Executive Assistant (3 month fixed-term contract)

The Clean Air Fund is seeking an Executive Assistant to join the team in London on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract. This is an opportunity to join a fast‑paced, mission‑driven organisation using philanthropic funding to catalyse reductions in air pollution worldwide.

The role sits within the CEO’s Office, supporting the Executive Assistant (EA) team and providing cover and support to allocated CAF Directors within the Senior Leadership Team, as required. You’ll work closely with the Senior Executive Assistant & Support Manager (SEA&SM) and the wider EA team to ensure Directors and their teams are supported to work efficiently and effectively, and that projects run smoothly. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of a dynamic organisation.

As an Executive Assistant, you’ll provide high‑quality support across the EA team. Responsibilities include diary management, complex international travel booking, and supporting preparations for high‑profile international meetings and events.

The role also supports team projects, events and engagement activity, requiring strong organisational and administrative skills. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience supporting senior executives in a busy, complex environment, including diary management, meeting logistics (online and in‑person), minute‑taking and drafting communications

About the Youth Endowment Fund 

All of us will experience violence at some point in our lives. For many children, it is a daily reality. Each year, tens of children are killed, hundreds are hospitalised, 1 in 5 teenage children are victims and the majority admit to feeling afraid of violence. It scares them when they travel home from school, prevents them from going out and makes the most vulnerable feel like they don’t matter. It is taking lives, traumatising families and dividing communities. It robs potential, progress and hope.   

But it doesn’t have to be this way.   

The Youth Endowment Fund believes that no child should be affected by violence. We research violence to understand it; we find, fund and test what works to prevent it; and we are building a movement to end it.  

Key Responsibilities 

We are making good progress building the evidence of what works within and around the youth sector to reduce violence. With the launch of the new Practice Guidance we are keen to translate evidence recommendations into practice. The greatest risk is that evidence stays on the shelf and doesn’t help young people – your role is to make sure that doesn’t happen.
 
You’ll focus on helping local authority commissioners use our tools and guidance in their everyday decisions about youth services. This will involve: 

• Creating clear, practical content like guides, toolkits and workshop materials to support the use of Practice Assessment for the Youth Sector (PAYS). 

• Leading our Practice Guidance programme, working closely with commissioners to help them use evidence in their work. 

• Building strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders across the sector. 

• Planning and tracking how we support more commissioners to adopt evidence-based approaches. 

• Spotting what tools or resources are needed and helping develop them. 

• Finding effective ways to share evidence, from events and workshops to online sessions and presentations. 

As a senior member of staff in the organisation, you also:

About You

Do you have a proven track record of operationally managing the end-to-end delivery of education and training programmes from conception to execution and evaluation? If so, we’d love to hear from you?

You must be a motivated and proactive individual who is able to work with a range of stakeholders to deliver our organisation's PLD portfolio and growth initiatives. The role requires an individual with the drive to create, deliver and maintain a comprehensive portfolio of programmes that support the continuous professional development of healthcare professionals working in sexual and reproductive healthcare.

This post is part of a job share arrangement. You will work closely with the other Education Development Officer to ensure continuity, handover and shared ownership of the PLD portfolio. This will require strong communication, collaboration and planning to ensure seamless delivery across the week.

We’re looking for an experienced Programme Officer to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in the delivery of our In2STEM Programme during a busy and high impact period. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive handover, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a real contribution from day one.

The Programme Officer will support the delivery of the In2STEM Programme including recruitment, planning, delivery, participant and volunteer management, and evaluation.

You will be responsible for recruitment, managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts), and managing relationships with supporters and funders. You will also support the planning, delivery and evaluation of programme activities including training and inductions, placements, online workshops, competitions and celebration events.

In2scienceUK is a remote based organisation, that requires occasional travel across the UK for recruitment, events, internal & external meetings and staff co-working days.

Duties and responsibilities:

Programme Delivery

• Managing a caseload of students and volunteers (work experience hosts) from application stage to successful completion of the programme, including recruitment, matching, onboarding, troubleshooting throughout the programme and evaluation.

• Creating and developing engaging communication materials about the programme including video presentations, posters/flyers, case studies and website text, newsletters and images. 

• Monitoring student and volunteer (work experience host) applications to ensure targets and milestones are met. 

• Maintaining up to date records via the programme database and ensuring data protection. 

• Managing relationships with existing donors and supporters and networking to develop new relationships with prospective donors and supporters.

About the role:

Just Like Us is the LGBT+ young people’s charity and works with thousands of schools and young people across the UK through its programmes. This role is critical to the delivery of our mission and will support the Volunteering Programmes Manager to meet the needs of our community of 350+ volunteers so that we can reach even more LGBT+ young people across the UK. Job Description

This role reports directly to the Volunteering Programmes Manager.

Programme delivery
● Support the Programmes Team to deliver our programmes
● Good regular communication and reporting to the Volunteering Programmes Manager
● Manage the administration of our Ambassador and School Talk programmes. Including the recruitment, training, opportunities and engagement of volunteers
● Deliver Ambassador volunteer training on the weekend, in-person at different locations across the UK and online

1. Institutional diagnostics and design

• Lead or contribute to detailed institutional and governance diagnostics at national and sub‑national levels.
• Analyse roles, mandates, incentives and capacities across ministries, agencies, utilities and service providers.
• Identify binding institutional constraints affecting project delivery and sustainability.

2. Management and delivery model development

• Support governments to design fit‑for‑purpose institutional and management models for priority WASH investments.
• Define delivery units, implementation arrangements and accountability frameworks aligned to investment requirements.

3. Integration with financing and project development

• Work closely with finance and project development specialists to ensure institutional arrangements meet lender expectations.
• Contribute to the preparation of investment‑ready project documentation, including institutional sections of concept notes and appraisal documents.

4. Country‑level facilitation and coordination

• Provide embedded or close‑support accompaniment to country teams and government counterparts.
• Facilitate multi‑stakeholder workshops and consultations focused on institutional reform and delivery models.

5. Quality assurance and learning

• Contribute to quality assurance of diagnostics, project concepts and full project packages.
• Capture and document practical lessons on institutional reform and management arrangements.

Requirements

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Strong professional experience in WASH institutional management, governance or service delivery reform.
• Practical experience working with government systems in low‑ and middle‑income countries.
• Understanding of how institutional arrangements underpin investment viability and sustainability.
• Strong facilitation, analytical and written communication skills.
• Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
• Experience contributing to MDB‑financed or large‑scale infrastructure programmes.
• Familiarity with utility reform, delegated management or hybrid delivery models.
• Experience working across multiple countries or regions

About us

Through our Reset Outreach & Referral Service (RORS), we support people in Tower Hamlets affected by drugs and alcohol. Our team takes a harm-reduction approach: meeting people where they are, reducing stigma, and helping them access treatment, health services, and wider community support.

You might have some knowledge of substance use or transferrable skills from other experiences, like working in fast-paced environments where you had to respond to customer needs. The experience you have can be paid or voluntary and lived experiences of using substances is equally valued.

Marketing Officer

Contract: Permanent position
Salary: £28,400 per annum
Location: Hybrid role with minimum one day per week based at the charity office in either London, Cardiff, Belfast, Edinburgh and Salford
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Core responsibilities within your role will be to:

• Into Film email communications - management and scheduling of all email communications to Into Film database and external audiences, management of email communication's calendar, management of Email Service Provider (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), maintaining integrity of email contact list, and writing copy, building, segmenting and sending emails.
• Support the Marketing Manager with planning, copywriting and coordination of the marketing of Into Film campaigns across paid, organic and earned media.
• Take the lead on delivery and evaluation of specific marketing campaigns.
• CRM reporting, including setting up dashboards, creating effective reports and working closely with Product & Technology team to ensure CRM is being used to its full potential.
• Ongoing analysis of email reporting and performance to inform future marketing and communications strategies and plans.
• Ensure all emails are on brand; both look and feel and tone of voice.
• Ensure all email campaigns adhere to GDPR consent and data capture regulations.
• Work with colleagues in national teams (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), and other departments to plan and execute regional email campaigns.
• Work with the Marketing Manager to implement, monitor and develop automated e-communications journeys to enhance both marketing and customer service experiences for the organisation's audiences.
• Manage any printed marketing materials such as leaflets, pull up banners, booklets to ensure they are on brand and produced in an environmentally friendly way.

Key experience and skills we're looking for is as follows:

• Experience of managing email campaigns for a variety of audiences, including drafting content, Email Service Provider (ESP) management, A/B testing and performance analysis.
• A good understanding of email data (open rate, click through rate, click through open rate etc.) and how to analyse it in order to inform on-going activity.
• Experience of using a range of analytics tools to help monitor, optimise and evaluate campaign performance including Google Analytics, CRMs and ESPs.
• Experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems to segment audiences, create campaigns, target audiences and report on activity.
• Experience of working on marketing and communications campaigns across owned, paid and earned channels.
• Management of campaigns and implementing tracking, undertaking evaluation based on performance of KPIs.
• Experience of copywriting and producing content for a range of channels and audiences.
