About Us
Head and neck cancer is one of the fastest-rising cancers in the UK, now affecting around 14,000 people every year — the 5th most common cancer among men, 7th overall, and the fastest growing among young people. Too often, symptoms are missed or misunderstood, and more than half of cases are diagnosed at a late stage. That means compromised survival rates, more invasive treatment, and a recovery that can mean a new way of eating, speaking and living.
Oracle Head & Neck Cancer UK exists to change that story. We work to prevent cancers where possible, drive earlier detection, and make sure people have clear information, support and guidance through and after treatment — so nobody has to cope in silence or confusion. We also fund groundbreaking research and collaborate across the sector to maximise our impact for patients.
As the only national charity dedicated to head and neck cancers, we're moving in an exciting new direction — and we have a unique opportunity to build an organisation that delivers maximum impact for patients and their families, while staying true to our roots.
The Role
We're looking for an Individual Giving, Community & Events Fundraiser to join our small, ambitious team. You'll bring broad experience of individual giving and community fundraising (or strong transferable skills), and you'll be confident organising events and stewarding supporters across their whole journey with us.
We need someone flexible, hands-on, and ready to get stuck into everything a small charity has to offer. We push boundaries for our patient community, so we value people who bring innovation and aren't afraid to seize opportunities as they arise.
We offer a competitive salary and remote working, as well as a generous annual leave allowance and professional development and mentorship opportunities.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit your CV and a supporting statement of no more than 2 sides each. The statement must clearly demonstrate your relevant experience and how you meet the person specification set out in the full job description attached.

Resource Justice Network (RJN) is the world's largest civil society network advocating for just and equitable governance of the planet's natural resources.
Growing out of the Publish What You Pay campaign, the member-led network now brings together over 1,000 organisations in more than 50 countries — primarily in the Global South, where extractive and energy industries operate.
With two decades of experience securing transparency, accountability and justice in the oil, gas and mining sectors, RJN works at every level, from frontline communities to global policy, towards a vision of shared prosperity on a thriving planet: societies governing their natural resources in just and equitable ways, in harmony with the planet.
Having undergone significant transformation, notably the launch of a new organisational strategy, Strategy 2030, Resource Justice Network is seeking an exceptional Director of Finance & Operations to join a passionate, highly capable, Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next chapter of a global, member-led movement.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Finance & Operations will be a trusted strategic advisor to both the Executive Director and Global Board, with responsibility for stewardship of the organisation’s finances and management of funding in a complex, ever-evolving, landscape.
Whilst the role retains responsibility for Operations, you'll be supported by an experienced Head of Operations who leads day-to-day operational delivery. You'll also be supported by a highly capable Management Accountant and Grants & Compliance Accountant, enabling you to drive strategic financial direction while also overseeing and delivering the statutory responsibilities of the role too.

· Significant experience working in an international donor-funded organisation, with a strong understanding of restricted donor funding and grant management.
· Experience working across diverse countries, cultures and governance structures.
· Proven ability to build effective relationships with Boards, Executive teams and non-finance stakeholders.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical insight.
· A collaborative leadership style, sound judgement and the confidence to provide constructive challenge.
· Experience overseeing operational functions such as HR, governance or IT would be advantageous but is not essential.
Salary & Benefits
· Salary of £90,374.
· 8% employer pension contribution.
· 40 days annual leave, inclusive of public holidays.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-quality support to the CEO and Chair of the Management Board during an exciting period of growth and development.
This is a one-year fixed-term opportunity, with the possibility of extension, and can be offered on either a four- or five-day-per-week basis. The role is fully remote and home-based, with occasional national travel required for team meetings and other events, approximately five times per year.
The Executive Assistant will play a central role in supporting the CEO, with additional support to the Chair, ensuring that their time, priorities and commitments are managed effectively. The post holder will take responsibility for complex diary management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, expenses and the preparation of briefings, presentations and other key documents.
