About the Role 

We’re seeking a passionate, skilled, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Peer Support Lead. This role focuses on supporting people from a range of culturally diverse backgrounds across West Yorkshire, including but not limited to South Asian communities. 

You’ll lead and expand a network of peer volunteers who work within local communities to promote hepatitis awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to testing, treatment, and care. You’ll collaborate closely with Leeds Teaching Hospitals and The Hepatitis C Trust’s national and regional teams to ensure culturally sensitive, community-led engagement.

Key Responsibilities 

• Coordinate and support peer volunteers across diverse communities in West Yorkshire 

• Build trust and reduce stigma through culturally sensitive outreach 

• Raise awareness of hepatitis, liver disease, and related risk factors 

• Support individuals to access testing, treatment, and ongoing care 

• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers, community leaders, and local partners 

Who We’re Looking For 

You’ll be: 

• Passionate about community empowerment and health equity. 

• A confident communicator who can work independently and as part of a team 

• Experienced in working with people affected by hepatitis, liver disease, alcohol or drug use either personally or professionally. 

• Culturally aware, with lived or professional experience in one or more of West Yorkshire’s diverse communities (including South Asian, African, Caribbean, Eastern European, and others) 

• Willing and able to travel extensively across West Yorkshire (own vehicle and clean driving licence required).

Creative Health Service Delivery Manager
Hours of Work: Part-Time - 21 hours per week (Tues to Thurs, 9am–4.30pm, with some evening and weekend working required with time off in lieu). 
Place of Work: START, Brunswick House, Salford M6 and various outreach sites as appropriate 
Salary: £40,000 per annum FTE (£24,000 per annum actual for 21 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Creative Health Service Delivery Manager to lead the operational delivery of our flagship creative health services. You will take full responsibility for meeting NHS contractual requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring services run smoothly, achieve outstanding outcomes and remain a trusted part of the healthcare pathway.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary delivery team, providing supervision, support and performance management
• Ensure accurate data, documentation and outcomes are maintained in line with Commissioner and organisational standards
• Drive quality assurance, ensuring learning is shared and improvements are embedded in practice
• Champion the delivery of high-quality programmes that support improved mental health and wellbeing

We are looking for someone with:

• Significant experience managing service delivery in a health, wellbeing or voluntary sector environment
• A track record of meeting contractual KPIs in a Commissioner-led setting
• Strong line management experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams
• Experience delivering or overseeing creative programmes that promote wellbeing
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

You might have heard of us before if you're one of the 1.5 million+ who have attended one of our Christian holidays or missions over the years, or maybe you're one of the 40,000+ subscribers to have used our brilliant devotionals or been stirred by our exceptional bible resources. About our team   

Like many jobs, you will work with lots of different teams in different contexts. With this role, you will have the benefit of being part of regionally focused team of 7 that is part of our wider movement.   

The successful candidate will be a part of our Central Region team of 7 workers who between us work across a region, from Suffolk to Gloucestershire, up to Shropshire, to Lincolnshire. You’ll contribute your expertise in a variety of settings, ranging from urban and suburban and rural areas. You’ll have a brilliant time getting acquainted with this rich tapestry of local and national partners. Across the Central Region, we currently work with over 100 churches and have over 180 faith guides. We’d like to see these numbers grow significantly over the next few years.

Job description: Revealing Jesus Pioneer Scripture Union   

You will work in the Central Region multiplying your impact through equipping, empowering and mobilising others in outreach work. You’ll add energy, expertise, direction, and skill to the mix. You’ll recruit, motivate, train, equip, coach and support Faith Guides; you’ll work in partnership with this group as well as leading by example, you will model excellent mission delivery to children and young people aligned with SU’s mission.
