Job description

Head of Delivery

(Ref SUS2995)

£35,743 per annum

37.5 hours per week – based in Nottingham, Birmingham or Peterborough

Do you want a new challenge and an opportunity to use your skills to make a difference to people’s lives? This is an exciting opportunity to lead our delivery team in the Midlands & East, contributing to the strategic direction of the region as a member of the senior leadership team, overseeing the behavior change and community engagement projects of the team, and ensuring the promotion of sustainable and active travel initiatives.

With demonstrable success in leading, motivating and developing a team, substantial experience of project and programme management and proven success at turning creative ideas into funded work, you will have a collaborative approach and have the ability to be proactive in supporting teams to find constructive solutions.  Your excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with your excellent influencing and negotiation skills will enhance your ability to build and develop strong productive on-going relationships.  You will have a comprehensive understanding of the benefits of active travel and knowledge of behavior change and community engagement approaches.  You will also have a passionate commitment to the promotion of sustainable transport.
