Role description:

We are excited to be seeking a talented and motivated individual to join Southampton Hospitals Charity as our Hospital Engagement Co-ordinator.

As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in driving supporters and stakeholders to the Charity’s Hub to build a real sense of community spirit and a hive of fundraising activity. This role will provide the right candidate with a rare opportunity to help shape how we engage with donors, visitors, patients and NHS staff in our Hub based in the heart of the hospital.

We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about making a difference and a real people person. This role will be key, as we continue our ambitious new strategy to grow our income, reach and impact. Working across teams, the engagement co-ordinator will help support our key marketing campaigns, fundraising initiatives, events as well as maximising the supporter journey and providing excellent donor care within the hospital.

As Hospital Engagement Co-ordinator, you will be the key link to the Charity and key areas across the hospital, meeting, motivating and inspiring patients, visitors and staff.

Main Responsibilities:

• To maximise onsite donations by driving supporters and stakeholders to the Hub to build a real sense of community spirit and a hive of fundraising activity.
• Collaborate across the charity with our Grants, Marketing and Communications team to co-ordinate charityactivity and implement a hospital engagement and communication plan.
• To work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to identify where collateral can be placed and make sure when items are out of date to remove these and engage with hospital staff to place new posters/flyers within the wards.
• Engage and develop strong working relationships with hospital staff members. · Devise a patient fundraising pack for us in the Hub and across the hospital site.
• Working with UHS staff groups, identifying fundraising champions within the hospital and increase the amount of footfall to the Charity’s hospital hub.
• Collaborate with the community and events fundraising team to recruit and relationship manage hospital staff as part to take part in events.
• To keep up to date records of all collection boxes held within the hospital. · To ensure that all donation processing and onsite administrative duties are carried out effectively and efficiently
• Regularly review and adapt supporter communications, including thank you letters and ensure these are implemented across the organisation for consistency.
• Support with the management of our tap to donate machines, identifying areas around the hospital where we can maximise donations and work with hospital teams to identify areas we can place more.
• To deliver excellent relationship management, ensuring a positive working relationship with hospital colleagues, as well as meaningful and supportive relationships with patient family fundraisers.
• To ensure all activity within team remit complies with the Charity’s values, moral and ethical guidelines, the Fundraising Code of Practice and other relevant regulation and guidance.
• To maintain accurate records of supporter interaction on our CRM system to aid delivery of an exceptional supporter experience and to harness the value of data.
• Provide support in the Charity’s hospital engagement hub, working within the hospital engagement team and covering the welcome desk, supporting with answering emails and telephone calls.
• Support the arts team with the promotion of art workshops and other activities in the hospital.

JOB PURPOSE

We are a team with a desire to provide excellent stewardship to our donors and maximise our fundraising potential in the UK. As the first point of contact, this role plays a vital part in ensuring our supporters receive a high standard of customer service.

You will manage our supporter care inbox and phone line, handling everything from donation enquiries to complaints with empathy and efficiency. You will also support with processing post and ensure our donors receive the appropriate acknowledgement for their support.

Role Responsibilities  

• Manage and respond to those who contact UK for UNHCR directly by email, phone or mail and escalate queries where necessary.
• Deliver a first-class supporter experience and ensure each point-of-contact works to build and develop the engagement journey.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date supporter records within the charity database, assist with data administration, and ensure data is handled in accordance with regulations.
• Champion supporter care best practice by resolving supporter pain points, sharing supporter insights and feedback with colleagues, and supporting fundraising teams in evaluating campaign performance to identify opportunities to improve the supporter journey.
• Assist with fulfilment agency briefs and quality control measures.
• Work with teams, agencies and third-party platforms to deliver donation processing and campaign fulfilment, ensuring efficient donor acknowledgment
• Support fundraising teams during emergencies.
• Support the fundraising team to deliver high quality in person events in as well as virtual stewardship events.
• Provide personalised in-house thanking for different supporter segments and deliver thanking initiatives such as a thankathons.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for supporter engagement activities and stewardship events, including coordination of materials, attendance lists and on-the-day support.

• Experience of working with an external fulfilment agency to deliver excellent customer service in a similar environment.
• An understanding of how to keep customer data safe and handle sensitive information responsibly, in line with relevant regulations.

Role Requirements

• Develop, implement and monitor a fundraising strategy across all public fundraising areas aligned to the voluntary income strategy.
• Working with the Director of Fundraising and Communications, set income and expenditure budgets, agreeing activities and initiatives to deliver these budgets ensuring. cost control regular forecasting and taking corrective action to achieve budgets. 
• Establishing and monitoring KPIs and quality standards for the Public Fundraising team 
• Review and build on The Children’s Trust supporter journey, ensuring that all supporter relationships are strengthened and that donors are engaged on many levels.
• Review and revise The Children’s Trust case for support, working with the Head of High Value Philanthropy to develop appeals and/or products relevant for different audiences.
• Using a donor centred approach, explore opportunities to maximise income growth and long-term relationship development.
• Work with Senior Events and Partnerships Manager and Senior Individual Giving Manager to strengthen relationships and cross-team working within the Public Fundraising team with a view to maximising supporter engagement and fundraising opportunities. 
• Lead the team to create a supporter-focussed plan to refine assumptions around product offerings and audience needs. 
• Using CRM principles, work with senior managers to optimise acquisition planning, and channels and campaigns within agreed budgets.
• Build and strengthen internal relationships across the organisation to co-produce fundraising propositions and ensure that budget relieving, organisational priorities are at the centre of all fundraising relationships.
• Work with Heads across the Fundraising, Retail and Communications Directorate to manage relationships, scope of work and overall budgets when commissioning external data analytics, creative and media agencies.

Joining a busy and highly effective team, this role will help deliver two major programmes of work for Lingen Davies. With a primary focus on cancer awareness raising to address health inequalities (early diagnosis, cancer screening and prevention), we use a range of activities and settings to effectively engage with the public and target communities. • Cancer Champions Project (focus on Telford). Working in partnership colleagues, along with NHS Shropshire Telford &Wrekin, and Qube, to deliver and maintain the Telford component of the project.
• LiveLife community cancer awareness programme. Our Lingen Davies community health promotion initiative, bringing cancer awareness to communities across the region.

BrightPIP (Brighton Parent/Infant Psychological Therapy) is a specialist infant mental health charity supporting babies aged 0–2 and their families across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. We provide early therapeutic intervention to strengthen relationships and prevent cycles of intergenerational trauma.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to grow BrightPIP’s visibility, income and community engagement. This role sits at the heart of BrightPIP’s external presence, working closely with clinicians, trustees and supporters to tell our story and build sustainable income.

This is a key role within the charity. You will lead our day-to-day marketing and communications, and support and deliver community fundraising campaigns and events. You will also build strong relationships with supporters, nurseries/schools, community groups and corporate partners.

• Lead BrightPIP’s marketing, communications and brand presence across digital and print channels

What the job involves

Our Events and Community Fundraising team raises vital funds for Prostate Cancer UK through a wide range of activities, events and challenge events. As Community Fundraising Executive, you’ll be a key member of our sector-leading team, raising over £5 million each year from individuals organising their own fundraising events and local-level corporate partnerships.

You’ll build strong, meaningful relationships with mid and high-value supporters, providing tailored stewardship that motivates, inspires and maximises their long-term fundraising impact. Working closely with the Community Fundraising Manager and wider team, you’ll identify emerging opportunities, spot potential high-value fundraisers and help shape the growth of our community fundraising programme. In collaboration with colleagues across the charity, you’ll make sure our amazing community fundraisers feel recognised and thanked for their contributions and are celebrated across our media and digital channels.

How and where we work

Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

We are looking for an Interim Head of Events to manage our existing events portfolio as maternity cover. You will be responsible for managing a range of well-established, high profile events including our flagship Annual Dinner which raises over £1.6M and is critical to our donor engagement, retention and income. You will ensure all our events run successfully, are organised to the highest standards and delivered with immaculate care and precision. You will manage a small team of two, providing guidance and support where needed. You will also work closely with our Marketing and Communications team to develop content and marketing for events.

You will join our Fundraising team, which is made up of 11 individuals working across a range of portfolios, including: trusts and foundations, institutional funding, major donor fundraising, individual giving and legacies, online matched funding campaigns, events, donor acquisition and engagement.   

You should have:

• Significant experience and a proven track record of event planning, coordination and delivery to an exceptionally high standard, within the non-profit sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a charity professional with evaluation and impact experience, and skills to develop Lewisham Local’s business functions such as service delivery impact with a focus on impact measurements of infrastructure work, premises, and admin.

This is a newly built role to support the charity’s new ambitious three-year strategy.

Main Objectives

• Develop and deliver the charity’s Impact and Evaluation framework
• Ensure charity’s CRM Salesforce is used at every level of capturing data

Support, develop and manage Lewisham Local’s business functions such as Admin and Premises management

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Impact Measurement

• Working closely with the SMT and project leads to understand the depth of the work carried out by Lewisham Local and develop an impact and evaluation framework to measure the success of our work.
• Train and support colleagues to ensure the framework is embedded into our daily work measuring the change created as a result of the work carried out by Lewisham Local.
• Run a quarterly impact report for SMT and Board
• Introduce data capture protocols and training on using the charity's CRM Salesforce to ensure data is recorded and up to date

Manage Admin function

• Manage the two (job share - 0.8 & 0.2 FTE) Admin officers who support the CEO, Board and take on the general office admin tasks

• Manage a Premises Coordinator (0.6FTE) in safe running the Orchard Gardens Community Centre

We are looking for a Coordinator to help our small Quaker peace organisation to continue to thrive when our current Coordinator retires at the end of 2026.

You will work with NFPB trustees and members to support Quakers in the North of Britain in their peace work, which covers a wide range of issues. As the only employee, you will need to be self-motivated, flexible and able to work with volunteers and other organisations. The role includes planning and arranging events, networking, communications and administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others work for peace.

About the role
This is a varied, entry-level role offering hands-on experience across programme delivery, fundraising, communications and administration. You will also contribute to IMPACT's wider international work, including assisting with fundraising proposals and donor engagement, supporting communications and social media, and helping manage relationships with international partners in Asia and Africa.

FEAST improves the nutrition, wellbeing and health of people at risk of food insecurity. We deliver nutritious community meals, and Healthy Eating on a Budget programmes across London venues, working in partnership with charities and community organisations.
