GiveOut is an award-winning international LGBTQI community foundation bringing together our community and allies to support LGBTQI activism worldwide.

Across the world, courageous activists are working tirelessly to protect LGBTQI communities and advance equality. But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South. LGBTQI groups receive a tiny fraction of international development aid.

GiveOut exists to bridge this gap. We provide a platform for individuals, businesses and others to give tax efficiently in one place, ensuring sustained funding for LGBTQI human rights activism worldwide. About the Role
Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Philanthropy Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, supporting our philanthropy programme and working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Senior Philanthropy Officers.

You will have responsibilities in three main areas: helping with internal programme coordination, supporting colleagues on key donor relationships and fundraising, and events.

You will be highly organised with a strong work ethic, enjoy organising events, and up for the challenge of raising lower level gifts from our community and allies. You will have the opportunity to develop organisational, project management and fundraising skills, learn about LGBTQI rights activism around the world, and see the impact of your work through the incredible LGBTQI organisations supported through GiveOut.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Internal Programme & Team Coordination

  • Manage calendars, schedule internal meetings, help bring together agendas, book meeting rooms, and take minutes where required

  • Help maintain internal documents & systems such as fundraising pipeline, internal reporting and project management tools.

  • Maintain database to ensure accurate donor information in GiveOut’s CRM 

  • Coordinate monthly finance reconciliation tasks for Philanthropy Team

  • Work with colleagues on shared processes, including finance and reporting

  • Contribute to a dynamic, fun and effective organisation

• Supporting Donor Relationships

  • Triage donor requests, responding where appropriate 

  • Schedule external meetings and calls

  • Create and send invoices to donors 

  • Create fundraising campaigns across third party platforms such as Benevity, JustGiving and CAF. 

  • Ensure we have necessary information to claim Gift Aid on eligible donations

  • Support on reporting to donors on the impact of their giving, building donation reports from database, liaising with internal teams, and using templates to build reports

  • Assist in donor research and prospecting

• Events

  • Support on GiveOut online and in-person events, creating event plans, and coordinating both internally and externally

  • Support travel and manage itineraries for international guests 

  • Attend GiveOut and networking events, representing GiveOut and the Philanthropy Team as needed

Essential Skills and Experience

About the role
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and highly organised Fundraising Officer to support our individual giving, community fundraising, and small trusts and foundations activities. The Fundraising Officer will manage individual and community donor activities, and the donor database to support thanking, stewardship and targeted donor engagement. They will also play a key role in monitoring the impact of our fundraising activity to ensure continuous improvement and income growth.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role for someone who is creative, collaborative, and enjoys working across a diverse range of tasks.  They will be enthusiastic and keen to generate new ideas that strengthen supporter relationships and deliver impactful fundraising.

Main duties and responsibilities

Individual and Community Fundraising

• Work with the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Communications Coordinator to develop and deliver three - four individual giving appeals at year (digital and offline) to increase income.
• Monitor and analyse appeal performance to inform future activity.
• Support wider donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies through data-led insights.
• Work closely with colleagues in communications and service delivery to create compelling fundraising content and impact stories.
•  Act as the main point of contact for community fundraisers and local events, offering guidance, support materials, and encouragement. Work closely with Communications Coordinator where needed.
• Lead on the promotion and recruitment of participants for sponsored challenge events, particularly the Oxford Half Marathon.
• Research charity of the year opportunities amongst school and local businesses and support applications as required.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, schools and faith communities.
• Confidently represent the organisation at community events and manage a pool of volunteer speakers.
• Use our CRM (Donorfy) to ensure accurate and up-to date relationship management records.  

Donor Stewardship and Prospect Research

• Ensure all donors are thanked promptly and feel valued and engaged.
• Manage and maintain accurate donor data in Donorfy, producing reports on donor activity and performance.
• Monitor and manage fundraising and donation enquiries through our development@ inbox, responding and referring them as appropriate.  
• Research new fundraising prospects and initiatives across individuals, community groups, small trusts, local businesses and other potential supporters. Maintain organised records of prospects and recommendations.

Trusts & Foundations (Small Grants)

• Support the Fundraising and Communications Manager and Trust and Foundations Fundraiser with the small grants pipeline, including prospect research, applications and reporting. 
• Work closely with appropriate staff and service coordinators on project budgets, reporting and planning as needed.

Other responsibilities

• Support and oversee fundraising volunteers and interns as required.
• Work collaboratively within a busy staff team, participate in meetings and planning processes, and contribute to organisational development.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as agreed with the Fundraising and Communications Manager or CEO.

We are looking for someone with great communication and project development skills to join us as a LiveLife Project Coordinator. Joining a busy and highly effective team, this role will help deliver two major programmes of work for Lingen Davies. With a primary focus on cancer awareness raising to address health inequalities (early diagnosis, cancer screening and prevention), we use a range of activities and settings to effectively engage with the public and target communities. This work is focussed in the following areas:

• Cancer Champions Project (focus on Telford). Working in partnership colleagues, along with NHS Shropshire Telford &Wrekin, and Qube, to deliver and maintain the Telford component of the project.
• LiveLife community cancer awareness programme. Our Lingen Davies community health promotion initiative, bringing cancer awareness to communities across the region.

ABOUT BRIGHTPIP

BrightPIP (Brighton Parent/Infant Psychological Therapy) is a specialist infant mental health charity supporting babies aged 0–3 and their families across Brighton & Hove and Sussex. We provide early therapeutic intervention to strengthen relationships and prevent cycles of intergenerational trauma.

We are a small, friendly and growing charity, supported by a dedicated clinical team and Trustee Board. As we expand to support up to 250 families per year, we are strengthening our operational and coordination capacity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly organised Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator to grow BrightPIP’s visibility, income and community engagement. This role sits at the heart of BrightPIP’s external presence, working closely with clinicians, trustees and supporters to tell our story and build sustainable income.

This is a key role within the charity. You will lead our day-to-day marketing and communications, and support and deliver community fundraising campaigns and events. You will also build strong relationships with supporters, nurseries/schools, community groups and corporate partners.

OTR are looking for a Grants & Corporate Fundraising Coordinator to work as part of the Fundraising & Communications Team. This role is the organisational engine for income through trusts and foundation grants, and corporate fundraising, within OTR’s fundraising mix. It would suit an organised individual with a strong interest in relationship management, and proven writing abilities.

Working collaboratively with the Head of Fundraising & Communications, the post-holder  will cultivate and nurture funder relationships and be responsible for researching and writing compelling case for support copy for applications. They will maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline planning and customer relationship management (CRM) records, and, once familiar with OTR, will have the opportunity to lead on mid-level funder opportunity management.

As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting RFUK’s income generation and donor engagement strategies. Purpose of Post: The Events Coordinator will help to plan, promote and deliver a diverse programme of online and in-person events that reflect the organisation’s mission to support, empower and amplify the voices of people with lived experience of mental illness. These will include outreach sessions, campaigning events, open forums, creative workshops, community engagement activities, fundraising events, awareness days and partnership events.

The post-holder will ensure all events are accessible, inclusive, trauma-informed and well-organised, working closely with the Engagement & Campaigns Manager, project teams, volunteers and external partners.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Planning and Coordination

• Develop and maintain an annual events calendar covering outreach, campaigns, creative sessions, open forums, workshops and fundraising (both online and in-person).
• Lead on the end-to-end planning of online and in-person events including aims, audience, format, accessibility needs, timelines, budgets, venues, equipment and staffing.
• Prepare event plans, schedules, risk assessments and checklists to ensure smooth delivery.
• Liaise with venues, suppliers and partners to negotiate costs (ensuring value for money), confirm bookings and arrange logistics.

 Promotion and Communications

• Produce accessible event information and promotional materials, working with colleagues to ensure inclusive language, imagery and formats.
• Use social media, website updates, e-newsletters and community networks to publicise events.
• Maintain event booking systems (e.g. Eventbrite, online forms), manage attendee lists and respond promptly to enquiries.

Event Delivery

• Act as point of contact on the day of events, ensuring smooth set-up, running and pack-down (including seating, signage, technology and accessibility adjustments).

• Brief staff, volunteers and facilitators on their roles and responsibilities before and during events, to ensure clarity of roles.

• Greet attendees, speakers and partners; creating a warm, inclusive and trauma-sensitive environment.
• Monitor timing, technical requirements (e.g. microphones, presentations, online platforms if appropriate) and respond to any issues that arise calmly and adapt plans where needed.

Community Engagement and Stakeholder Support

• Build strong relationships with partner organisations, community groups, local charities, the council and health & social care stakeholders.
• Represent the organisation professionally at meetings, outreach events and networking opportunities as necessary.
• Support delivery of awareness campaigns, public consultations and community engagement activity.

Volunteer Coordination

• Support the recruitment, induction, supervision and recognition of event volunteers.
• Provide clear instructions and create a positive, supportive environment for volunteers.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting

• Collect and analyse event data, including attendance, demographics, costs, outcomes and feedback (e.g. surveys, informal feedback, Mentimeter)
• Produce reports and summaries to evidence impact, support funder reporting and inform future planning.

Finance and Administration

• Work within agreed event budgets, tracking expenditure and income, and seeking value for money.
• Process invoices, petty cash and expenses in line with Hear Us, financial procedures.
• Maintain an organised system for event documentation (e.g. booking forms, contracts, attendance, risk assessments, evaluations).

Safeguarding, EDI and Health & Safety

• Ensure all events comply with safeguarding, data protection, confidentiality and health & safety policies.
• Ensure events are inclusive of people from diverse backgrounds and are accessible to people with a range of mental health needs and disabilities.
• Report safeguarding concerns promptly following internal procedures.

Other Duties

• Attend staff meetings, supervision, training and development opportunities.

As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll be an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Scotland, with a particular focus on Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. 

We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters.  You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop a brand-new fundraising region.

The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.

You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities and celebrating incredible successes.

Primary location of role

This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Edinburgh area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, Sheffield or Glasgow office.

Nottingham Hospitals Charity exists to support patients, families and staff at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, which includes the City Hospital, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham Children’s Hospital, Hayward House palliative care centre and Ropewalk House hearing centre.

As one of the biggest NHS charities in the UK, Nottingham Hospitals Charity has raised over £64million in 19 years, to fund state-of-the-art specialist equipment, medical research projects, enhancements to the hospital environment, and staff support programmes.

For 20 years, Nottingham Hospitals Charity has supported Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) to enhance patient care, support staff wellbeing, and fund pioneering research across our hospitals. 2026 marks our 20th anniversary, and we’re planning a year-long programme of celebration to raise our profile, strengthen our partnership with NUH, thank our supporters, and inspire new donors for the years ahead.

About the Role 

This is a unique opportunity for a creative and organised professional to lead the planning and delivery of our 20th Anniversary Year programme. The postholder will coordinate a series of flagship events and campaigns including a launch exhibition, community festival, staff celebration week, and anniversary gala. They will work closely with colleagues across the Charity, NUH Care Groups, corporate partners and community groups to bring the year to life. The role blends project management, events coordination, marketing, and relationship-building, with a strong focus on logistics, delivery, and data capture. 

Key Responsibilities 

Programme Coordination:

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the 20th Anniversary programme, ensuring activity is on time, on brand, and on budget. 

• Develop and manage project plans for each quarter’s flagship event and supporting campaign. 

• Liaise with suppliers, venues, sponsors, and creative agencies to deliver events and collateral. 

• Monitor budgets, process invoices, and prepare regular progress updates for the Director of Fundraising and Communications. 

Events and Campaign Delivery: 

• Oversee logistics and promotion for our main anniversary events: 

            - Anniversary Launch & Impact Exhibition 

            - Community Celebration

            - NUH Staff Celebration Week & BBQ 

            - Anniversary Gala Dinner & Donor Celebration

• Coordinate supporting activities such as the “20 for 20” fundraising challenge, digital thank-you wall, and storytelling features. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Support the Charity Fundraising, Marketing and Comms team to engage volunteers, donors, key corporate and community groups.
• Work collaboratively with NUH Care Groups, Estates, Communications and Events teams to ensure alignment and permissions. 

• Support media and marketing activity by gathering stories, case studies, and photography. 

Data, Insight and Impact: 

• Ensure data capture and consent are built into all anniversary activities. 

• Work with the fundraising and database teams to record participation, engagement and income outcomes against targets for ROI.

• Produce post-event evaluation and insight reports

Person Specification 

 Essential Experience and Skills: 

• Demonstrable experience in coordinating events, projects, or campaigns from concept to delivery. 

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence working across teams and partner organisations. 

• Experience of supplier liaison, contract negotiation, and budget tracking. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital tools for project management, communications, and data capture. 

• A proactive, can-do attitude, able to work flexibly and collaboratively. 

Desirable Experience and Skills: 

• Experience in charity, healthcare, or public sector communications or events. 

• Experience of fundraising or donor stewardship events. 

• Knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles in event and marketing contexts. 

• Understanding of Nottingham Hospitals Charity and/or Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

This important role supports the operational delivery of the charity’s busy events programme and supports the team and running the office.

The events programme is diverse - from drinks receptions and report launches to events at agricultural shows across the UK - and support on administration for the wider charity, including some communications activity. Through these events, we drive awareness of our work supporting family farms and rural communities. In doing so we also garner support from funders to tackle the issues facing the countryside, ensuring our work reaches a diverse audience to raise awareness.

Under the direction of the Head of External Affairs, and with support of the wider staff team, you will be responsible for coordinating and running all the charity’s events, including full administrative support, booking venues, the invitation process and guest lists, organisation of collateral (including marketing and promotional information), catering arrangements and researching and inviting speakers. You will be also ensuring effective follow-up to each event such as wider dissemination of event content, evaluation, and reporting.

Working on events will account for approximately 75% of the role. The remaining time will be spent working across the charity undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. This will include supporting the team with mailings, coordination of specific activities and some general office management. Whilst reporting to the Head of External Affairs, this role will work closely with several team members, particularly the Executive Support & Governance Manager, providing a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of different aspects of the charity’s work.

What we are looking for

This is an important role, and we’d like you to have a sound working knowledge of end-to-end event management and office experience within a charity or other professional environment.  To be successful you will be required to demonstrate a confident attitude supported by good written and verbal communication skills.  You must be comfortable using Microsoft office suite, events management platforms and our CRM system (currently Salesforce). You will be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload.  An ability to engage with a wide range of people is also advantageous. Most of all is the desire to provide first class customer service.

This position requires you to be a reliable individual with a detailed, methodical and organised approach who can work independently as well as part of a team. You will enjoy detail and managing data, all this supported by an interest in our work and the desire to develop a successful programme of events. You must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Location

Hybrid role based in our Bethnal Green office. The postholder would usually be required to work in the office a minimum of two days per week during their probation period. Your ability to establish credibility and foster trust across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success.
