Job description

About the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust was founded in memory of 4-year-old Grace Kelly who passed away in 2014. The vision of the Trust was born from the inspiration that Grace imparted on the people she met. Grace was a compassionate and caring little girl, who looked after others before herself.

We are making a difference to other children whilst fulfilling Grace's wish of helping others.

The team at the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust works to raise awareness, fund research into rare cancers of childhood and produce educational materials for parents, carer and also clinicians. Our evidence-based publications are written by medics and peer reviewed by experts.

We also provide financial, practical and emotional support to families at a time when they really need us we are able to be there to comfort and help guide them as best as we can right from the point of diagnosis right through to sadly bereavement.

The charity receives no statutory funding so wholly relies on its fundraisers and businesses to support with ensuring we have the funds to continue our fights against childhood cancer allowing us to continue to offer our valuable services.

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust has a great new opportunity for a self motivated, compassionate and creative individual to join our small but impactful team.

Friendly, enthusiastic and socially-focused – you quickly connect with others and build effective working relationships.

An ability to empathise and communicate effectively about our work with children and families is key. You are naturally warm with a sincere appreciation for people and how they are each uniquely motivated

As a Community and Corporate Fundraiser, we’re looking for a great networker who is highly organised and demonstrates passion and empathy across all areas of communication.

Exceptional project planning skills and previous fundraising experience are essential for the success of fundraising campaigns and events.

Working alongside our Operations & Fundraising Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for all fundraising enquiries and play a significant role in achieving income growth.

The successful applicant will work with new and existing corporate and community-based supporters inspiring them to make a difference.

Would you like to make a difference to children fighting cancer?

For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Emma Williams at the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
