ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Supporter Care Fundraiser will be responsible for providing exceptional stewardship and support to our valued supporters, including donors and volunteers (committee members and non-committee members). This role will ensure that our supporters feel appreciated, informed and engaged with RABI’s work, ultimately helping to strengthen relationships and encourage continued giving. This position is crucial to maintaining long-term, meaningful connections with donors and ensuring they feel a sense of connection to RABI’s purpose.
With a strong focus on relationship management and supporter stewardship, the Supporter Care Fundraiser will help drive the growth of community-led fundraising initiatives. Working alongside both central and regional volunteer teams, this role will be pivotal in supporting RABI to achieve its ambitious £10 million fundraising goal over the next five years.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporter Stewardship: Provide high-quality, personalised care and attention to supporters, ensuring they feel valued and recognised for their contributions. Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries and support requests via email, telephone and post.
Donation Processing: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of donations, ensuring that all records are updated in the CRM system and acknowledged and thanked appropriately.
Engagement and Retention: Develop and implement agreed strategies to engage and retain supporters, including regular communications through thank-you letters and phone calls. Work to build ongoing loyalty and support from supporters.
Campaign Support: Assist with fundraising campaigns and initiatives by providing supporter-facing materials, ensuring clear communication and helping to create opportunities for supporters to engage in fundraising activities.
Supporter Communication: Coordinate and manage supporter correspondence, including sending out personalised thank-you notes, acknowledgement letters and updates on the impact of donations. Ensure that supporters are kept informed about RABI’s work and how their support is making a difference.
Event Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of events (e.g. agricultural shows, community and corporate events), virtual or in-person, to ensure supporters feel appreciated and connected to RABI’s purpose.
Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate supporter records and provide regular reports on donor activity, feedback and engagement. Help identify trends and opportunities for improving supporter satisfaction and retention.
Feedback and Improvements: Gather feedback from supporters and analyse donor satisfaction to continually improve the supporter experience and identify areas for development in our stewardship strategy.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Fundraising and Volunteer teams to ensure alignment between supporter care efforts and broader fundraising strategies. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that supporter care is integrated into all aspects of RABI’s operations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice standards, upholding RABI’s commitment to ethical and legal fundraising.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing successes and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports on fundraising outcomes and gather feedback from participants to inform future event improvements.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments (Marketing and Communications, Service Delivery, Volunteering and Finance, etc) to align community fundraising efforts.
Essential
Proven experience in a similar supporter care, donor relations or customer service, ideally within the non-profit or charity sector.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of supporters, stakeholders and volunteers.
Friendly, empathetic and personable, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide a positive experience for all supporters.
High attention to detail, particularly in supporter records, donation processing and communication.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
Ability to resolve issues or concerns raised by supporters in a timely and professional manner, ensuring donor satisfaction.
A collaborative spirit with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, while also being self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently.
Proficiency in CRM systems and digital fundraising platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
Understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practices in fundraising.
Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
Empathy with the farming community and an understanding of the challenges faced in rural life.

TRAIN is a youth work charity based in South Oxfordshire. We support young people aged 10 to 18 in Didcot, Wallingford and the surrounding areas, especially those who are under-served.
Young people in our communities are facing complex challenges. ABOUT THE ROLE
As Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, your main focus will be trusts and foundations: researching opportunities, writing persuasive applications and producing clear reports. You’ll also play a part in growing support from corporates, community fundraising, individual donors and major gifts, helping to build a broader base of income over time.
Alongside this, you’ll lead on communications. That means keeping our website and social channels current, producing supporter newsletters, and sharing our story more widely through PR and campaigns. You’ll help make sure the difference TRAIN makes for young people is seen and understood by funders, partners and the local community.
It’s a hands-on role, well-suited to someone who enjoys writing, building relationships and juggling different projects. You don’t need to be an experienced fundraiser — we’re open to people with transferable skills, whether from corporate, public or third sector backgrounds. What matters most is that you can communicate clearly, organise your workload, and are motivated by making a difference for young people.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the rest of the team. This is a part-time role of approximately 30 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly. The role is based in Didcot with hybrid working, but for the right candidate we will consider a fully remote arrangement.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Salary: £28,598 - £31,022 FTE (pro-rated, depending on experience)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising (approx. 80%)
- Pipeline and planning – work with the CEO to keep a clear fundraising plan, with trusts and foundations as the main focus alongside manageable growth in corporates, community, and individual giving.
- Trusts and foundations – research prospects, build a live pipeline, and write strong, tailored bids. Prepare accurate budgets and gather evidence from the team to strengthen proposals.
- Reporting and stewardship – deliver timely reports, thank funders and donors well, and manage renewals and uplift opportunities.
- Relationship development – nurture links with local businesses, community groups and potential major donors. Prepare simple proposals and support fundraising events or activities as needed.
- Systems and compliance – maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines and outcomes. Ensure fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and charity regulations.
Communications (approx. 20%)
- Supporter communications – produce engaging newsletters, updates and thank-yous that connect donors and partners with TRAIN’s impact.
- Digital presence – update the website and social media channels with accurate, timely content that reflects TRAIN’s work and values.
- PR and profile – share stories with local media, partners and networks. Ensure TRAIN’s messaging is clear, consistent and accessible.
- Community engagement – promote TRAIN’s profile, youth offer, brand and presence in the community.
General
- Work closely with the CEO to align fundraising and comms priorities.
- Collaborate with youth work staff to gather stories, quotes and data that demonstrate TRAIN’s impact.
- Represent TRAIN at meetings and community events.
- Contribute to the life of a small, collaborative team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to support a range of fundraising initiatives within QAC’s Fundraising Department
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 52 weeks
Annual Leave: 7.2 weeks, including Bank Holidays.
Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must have a full current driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research and promote a range of suitable challenge based events, supporting the administration and registrations as required.
- Respond to and support community fundraisers.
- Maintain relationships with regular donors.
- Ensure good stewardship of supporters including thank you letters, charity updates etc in line with GDPR.
- Manage information and utilise the CRM system for recording of data.
- Provide updates and graphics for the website and social media platforms.
- Work with fundraisers to obtain case studies/fundraiser profiles where possible.
- Support the running of campaigns and events.
- Actively support the organisation with fundraising events and initiatives (internal and external) to support the charity in all areas (college, residential services and community services.
- Monitor JustGiving Pages and follow up on activity as appropriate.
- Support in the development and management of community and stakeholder opportunities
- Support the creation of external promotional materials relating to fundraising events and initiatives.
- Work as part of the Fundraising Team supporting activities as and when the need arises.
- Respond to fundraising queries via email or the phone in a timely manner.
- Spot fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the work of QAC.
- Assist the Trust and Corporate Fundraiser with small to mid value Grant Applications.
Other Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing efficient administration support to the Fundraising team
- To support the general running of the office and to support other colleagues as and when required.
- To have experience of producing fundraising/promotional literature e.g. leaflets and brochures
Considerations:
- The Fundraising Team is small, working closely with other teams including Marketing, Enterprises and Curriculum, so flexibility in approach is a must.
- Some periods will be busier than others, for example events seasons, student performance times, so prioritisation and flexibility will be needed.

The Senior Grants Manager will take a leading role in delivering The Childhood Trust’s new grant-making strategy. They will manage and evolve our existing grants programmes, while also testing new ideas, trialling different approaches and building strategic partnerships that increase the reach and impact of our work.
This is both a strategic and practical role - the postholder will shape new programmes, manage the full grant cycle and oversee a small team, while working closely with charity partners, funders and colleagues across the organisation to lay the foundations for the future of TCT’s grant-making. This is a role for someone who can work independently, take ownership and make things happen.

Fundraising Lead
Salary: 47,000 to 57,000 dependent on experience

- Building their own new business pipeline, as well as developing and closing 5, 6 and 7 figure partnerships with major companies.
- Responsible for the entire new business process, from seeking out new potential partners via our networks, or through research, to developing compelling proposals and pitches and closing deals.

- Capable of working closely with the account management team and other internal stakeholders, and adept at keeping accurate records to enable effective handover and forecasting.

What you will be doing
This is a strategic and creative role at the heart of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People’s national fundraising and engagement efforts. The post holder will lead the development and delivery of national community and challenge event programmes across all four UK regions (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland).
Using strong project and campaign management skills, the role will grow existing initiatives charity owned initiatives such as the Great British Dog Walk and the 28 Challenge and develop new, audience-led campaigns that inspire public participation, drive fundraising, and deepen long-term engagement with the charity.
In addition to the owned initiatives, the role will promote Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to participants of external national events such as The Great North Run or the London Marathon.
The ultimate objectives are to drive income generation and guide supporters from initial involvement to becoming volunteers for the broader work of the charity and legacy pledgers.
Desired candidate
- Proactive and confident self-starter with proven experience in campaign management, digital fundraising, and audience engagement.
- Strong understanding of social media tools, digital platforms, and challenge event management (e.g. Fundraising).
- Excellent project management and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop creative propositions and media plans based on audience insight.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with occasional travel to events and HQ.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with an enthusiastic and positive approach.
