Key Responsibilities
Finance
- Responsible for processing all income in SAGE from various platforms reconciling income to bank statements.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and grow relationships with schools, colleges, youth clubs and local communities

About the role
The Fundraising Lead (Corporate & Grants) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of income generation for Planet Patrol, including the planning and delivery of our fundraising strategy; with a focus on corporates and grants. You will secure new partnerships and sponsorships, and develop high-value, multi-year commitments that align with both Planet Patrol’s priorities and our funders objectives. Whilst this role is fixed term, we hope to secure enough funding to make the role permanent.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Relationship Building
- Meet and exceed the annual new funding target of £300k, whilst maintaining existing funding agreements.
- Secure sponsorship for at least three organisational priorities worth a minimum of £50k each.
- Write and submit innovative, engaging and impactful funding applications.
- Prospect new supporters and build long-term, high-value relationships.
- Quickly and efficiently respond to calls for proposals, maximising all opportunities..

Marketing & Communications

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer will be responsible for crafting compelling, donor-centred communications that strengthen long-term relationships with partners and supporters, deepen engagement and inspire giving. One of the main areas of responsibility will be to produce proposals and reports for stakeholders, especially strategic partners and donors. The postholder will work closely with the other members of the Marketing and Communications team, as well as collaborating with other departments within the college. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of producing copy for fundraising and donor relations purposes, and will be a skilled storyteller who can translate the strategic objectives of the college into resonant narratives, understands donor motivations, and writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Stewardship Writing
- Develop persuasive and high-quality copy for multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, website, social media etc.)
- Write impact reports and stewardship letters that convey gratitude and demonstrate impact.
- Create case statements, proposals, and presentations for major donor and foundation audiences.
- Oversee the ongoing use of Donorfy CRM to ensure it functions in a way that optimises ANCC's efficiency and makes full use of its functionality; carry out system integrations as needed.
Storytelling & Content Development
- Interview students, alumni, partners, staff and donors to develop authentic, mission-driven stories.
- Adapt organizational content for various donor segments, ensuring a consistent voice and message.

Editing & Quality Control

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Proven ability to write clear, compelling, and engaging copy and marketing materials for diverse audiences.
- Strong interviewing, research, and storytelling skills.

- Familiarity with donor stewardship best practices and fundraising language.

About you
Educated to degree level or with considerable equivalent experience, you will have proven track record in securing, managing, and growing high-value donor relationships. You will be a strategic thinker with experience designing and delivering fundraising strategies at a senior level. Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) is looking for a proactive individual with good storytelling skills to produce fundraising applications and reports that inspire. As part of GCT’s Fundraising & Communications team, you will work closely with the Senior Development Manager to secure grant funding from Trusts & Foundations across our programme portfolio (including island restoration, community resilience, ocean protection and plastic pollution topics), with an increasing focus on securing multi-year funding to embed sustainability in our programme delivery.

The role will involve:
- Leading on a portfolio of owned and third-party fundraising events, including feasibility research, planning, marketing, participant recruitment, logistics, budgeting, and evaluation.
- Taking a lead role in the development of new fundraising events in collaboration with the Innovation Team, from research and proposals through to approval, delivery and evaluation.
- Providing first-class supporter care, ensuring participants feel valued and engaged, and that income and expenditure targets are met or exceeded.
- Working closely with marketing, press and PR colleagues to create and implement event promotion and communications plans, across both traditional and digital channels.
- Line managing and supporting Events Officers where appropriate, and deputising for the Events Fundraising Manager when required.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and event providers to ensure effective delivery and the best possible experience for supporters.
- Overseeing volunteer recruitment and stewardship plans to increase engagement and retention.

Job Description
Job purpose: To lead and develop Remember A Charity’s marketing and communications programme, in line with our core mission of making legacy giving a social norm. This core focus of the role is on growing and engaging our audiences across the charity sector (members and non-members) and professional adviser communities (solicitors, Will-writers, wealth advisers).
The Marketing Manager will also contribute to the development of our consumer PR, marketing and digital programmes, led by the Director and Digital Communications Manager respectively.
This role would suit a confident and creative individual who is enthused by the opportunity of helping charities across the UK to grow and develop their long-term income. The successful candidate will work closely with the campaign’s members, professional advisers and, of course, colleagues within Remember A Charity and the wider CIOF.
Key Accountabilities:

Job Purpose
-
Oversee the delivery of a high-quality programme of community activity and engagement across three London Boroughs.

Develop and grow our community engagement offer to ensure the needs and preferences of older people are being met.
-
Manage, lead and motivate a team of experienced community engagement officers, centre managers and lunch club coordinators.
-
Ensure a well-evidenced, high-quality and responsive service is delivered to clients with professionalism.
-
Ensure that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to deliver and continuously improve our offer.
Key Tasks
-
Day-to-day management and leadership of the Community activities team comprising paid staff and volunteers, ensuring a strong team culture and their ongoing professional development.

Support and develop your direct reports to include supervision, annual appraisal, planning of continued professional development opportunities and training needs.

Support and develop your team including team meetings, consultation and feedback sessions and establishing a culture of continual improvement.
-
Collaboration with managers across the organisation to ensure consistency of management practice and joined-up service delivery.

Work with the AUKEL Communications team to plan and deliver accessible programme information to a range of audiences across multiple channels.

Lead and oversee the monitoring, recording and reporting of all activity within the programme area; ensuring the service is meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying and flagging any concerns and taking proactive action to address this; ensuring that internal and external stakeholders receive accurate and timely reports.

Work collaboratively with other agencies providing aligned services, opportunity-spotting, cross referrals, maintaining excellent working relationships with all external stakeholders.

Support the Head of Community to ensure that evidence of the wider impact of our offer is spotlighted and presented to a wide range of stakeholders.

Manage the budget, sign-off expenses, and ensure projects are delivered to budget, liaising with the Finance Department as necessary.

Support the Head of Community with generating funding e.g. being actively involved in consultation of possible projects, providing activity data, opportunity spotting, and/or supporting the production of tenders.

Contribute to the organisational objectives contained with AUKEL’s 5-Year strategy and actively identify opportunities for development, fundraising and systems improvement.

To undertake any other duties within the competence of the post hold as may be required from time to time for the smooth running of Age UK East London.
