The DSM Foundation is seeking a new Treasurer to join our active and supportive Board of Trustees. This is a voluntary role requiring approximately 5-6 hours per month (in addition to bi-monthly Board meetings, usually in person in our Purley offices).
As Treasurer, you will oversee the financial health of the charity and provide strategic advice to support sustainable growth. You’ll work closely with our Head of Operations, Chair, and management accountant to ensure sound financial governance.
We’re looking for someone with experience in finance, accounting or budget management—and a passion for helping young people thrive.

They are responsible for fulfilling the legal duties of a Company Director, as set out by Companies House. Although ECU is not a charity, it is focused on delivering a public purpose, so most aspects of the role are similar to that of a charity trustee role.
We are now recruiting for ECU’s first Treasurer, who will lead at board level on monitoring ECU’s financial performance and sustainability, ensuring that we have robust financial policies and processes in place, and supporting other board members to fulfil their collective responsibilities around finance.
