About the role:
We are looking for a media manager to work as a job share partner in our small, start-up style team on our public campaigning initiative. This role provides an exciting opportunity to jointly lead on our earned media approach, working to secure high-quality coverage of our campaigns and the Health Equals coalition across print, online and broadcast media to influence public opinion and political change.
In this role, you’ll use your skills to deliver our PR strategy for our upcoming public-facing campaigns, working alongside your job share partner to manage our PR agency partner, leading our press office function, building trusted relationships with journalists and influencers, and coordinating Health Equals member spokespeople and lived experience storytellers. You will work proactively with data analysts and policy experts to spot and develop media opportunities based on new and available data relating to health inequalities. Your work day-to-day will vary from strategic to delivery focused, such as writing press releases and pitching to national and regional media, fielding enquiries and responding proactively to developments in the external environment. About the Role:
As a Floating Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting services where extra capacity is needed, working across different locations including B&NES, Bristol, Wiltshire, Somerset and North Somerset. This is a varied and dynamic role, offering the opportunity to work across supported housing and outreach services, with no two weeks looking the same.
You’ll work directly with people who have a range of support needs, building positive, professional relationships and providing person‑centred, trauma‑informed support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is well organised, and can adapt to changing priorities and locations. Give clients advice and information, providing an enabling service so that they can be signposted to, and access appropriate services.

About this key role

What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of issues affecting individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions and will be able to communicate and provide support with dignity and respect. The role requires the ability to work confidently with statutory services, alongside excellent listening skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities. Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time‑management skills are essential, alongside good IT proficiency, including MS Word, Outlook, and internet use and solid literacy and numeracy skills. Stroke Support Worker
We are looking for an empathetic, adaptable individual, experienced in person centred support to work with stroke survivors and their loved ones on the stroke ward in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Position: 000029 Stroke Support Worker
Location: Homebased, Doncaster, South Yorkshire. However, travel will be required twice weekly to Doncaster Royal Infirmary as part of this role (and occasional wider travel may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

The Role
This work is part of a project (the Integrated Offer), exploring the needs and ongoing connection for people affected by stroke in hospital and beyond.
The role will involve delivering person-centred stroke support in the hospital setting, while working with the Integrated Offer team to test and implement new approaches. The areas we aim to deliver and test are:
· Deliver person centred conversations with people affected by stroke on the acute ward.
· Following an initial conversation, test how people affected by stroke connect with the Stroke Association next, and what they connect to.
· Explore how to increase connection with those who are not present on the ward at the same time as us.
(note- we may test some or all the above)
To support flexible delivery and testing, you'll also develop your skills by providing phone support to people affected by stroke.
The role includes working in Doncaster Royal Infirmary starting with twice weekly visits, for 3 hours per session. These sessions can be any time after 11am. The length, timing and cadence of the sessions may need to adjust as this is a test and we will be led by what works for the hospital and people affected by stroke.
Occasional overnight stays may be required.
