Project Worker
Worthing Foyer
Permanent Contract
30 Hours per week – Including Saturday and Sunday
£22,305  per annum (pro-rata)
£17,844 per annum (actual)

We are recruiting a Support Worker to work alongside our wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our community accommodation projects for vulnerable young people aged 16-24 years.
The successful candidate will work as part of a rolling rota with four 7.5 hour shifts a week (between 7am and 8PM), including every weekend.

The role includes delivering one to one sessions and groups work sessions to assist residents to develop personally and socially in order that they grow in confidence and move towards independence.
You will carry a case load of young people and to engage them in effective support planning, working towards tailored goals so they can work towards positive outcomes.


You must have experience working with young people, particularly those considered vulnerable or with multiple and complex needs, and be able to de-escalate volatile situations and to manage challenging behaviour appropriately.
You should have the ability to engage, motivate, inspire and empower young people; and will be required to juggle tasks to ensure the safe running of the project and safeguarding of residents.
