 Key Responsibilities

• Build and grow relationships with schools, colleges, youth clubs and local communities

Our Midlands team has a new opportunity for an Executive Officer. You will be responsible for supporting effective grant-making across the region, helping us to distribute over £60m to good causes throughout the area.

As an Executive Officer, you’ll be part of a driven and passionate team, led by a Senior Head of Regional Funding. Within the team there is 1 Senior Grant Making Manager, 8 Funding Managers and 26 Funding Officers.

Reporting to the Senior Head of Regional Funding, you will work on a hybrid basis, working both remotely and spending some of your time in the Birmingham office (located near Five Ways). There will also be some occasional travel to other locations across the region throughout the year.

Organising will be at the heart of your role, and you will be in regular contact with the team across the region. The key duties of the role include:

• Supporting the Senior Head of Regional Funding, Senior Grant Making Manager, Funding Managers and their teams.
• Administration of our grant-making database using Salesforce.

The role

Warm Wales is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Fundraising Manager to play a key role in supporting our ambitions.  You will lead income generation efforts for our forward-thinking charity. You will be responsible for identifying new sources of income and building strong relationships with new supporters.  This post is central to generating external income through the development and submission of high-quality grant applications and contract proposals.

Reporting to the CEO, this is an exciting and rewarding role for someone who is looking to work with significant impact in a small organisation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

General Income Generation

• Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.

• Develop a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio of individual giving, corporate, community, events, legacies and timely appeals

• Develop and manage campaigns activities that jointly raise funds and awareness of the charity

• Generate progress reports for the CEO and Board regularly, proactively identifying progress against expectations.

• Oversee the development of effective donor journey plans to ensure excellent stewardship, engagement and retention of donors

• Build long-lasting relationships with key philanthropists, donors, and funders.

• Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.

• Work with colleagues to identify and source sustainable income streams for fundable elements of core, project, and community engagement activities.

• Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.

Grants and Foundations

• Build and maintain relationships with key representatives of trusts, foundations and other funding bodies to increase their awareness and understanding of Warm Wales.

• Lead on funding applications and bids, working with the wider team to develop competitive bids

Corporate Partnerships

• Understand the motivations that encourage companies to give, and the importance of strong stewardship

• Focus on identification of and engagement of new corporate partnerships to increase income.

Individual Giving

You will oversee our Individual Giving plans as a charity and deliver on plans to develop regular giving, In Memory and legacy supporters.

 Person Specification

·  Experience of third sector fundraising.

Records Manager & Archivist

The duties within this unique role will be shared across the main London offices of the Methodist Church in Britain and United Reformed Church. The successful candidate will be a suitably qualified and experienced records and archives management professional, who is confident to work across our different sites and systems. You will be a knowledgeable manager of analogue and digital records and archives.  Some familiarity with Church structures and record keeping would be an advantage.

You will need to be able to advise the staff teams for both Churches on records management strategy and practice and support them in the implementation of electronic records management systems (ERMS). You will also be able to undertake collections management tasks such as appraisal, condition assessments, basic cleaning and re-packaging and cataloguing.

You will need to be able to liaise effectively with the archive services where our collections are deposited, and work with our voluntary heritage committees and archival advisers. You will be encouraged to appoint and manage volunteers to build capacity around this work.

The Methodist Church has records from the early 18th century onwards. Its governance records (estimated at c4m items) are deposited in the John Rylands Research Institute & Library, University of Manchester, and its missionary collections in the SOAS Library, University of London.  Records of the Church at a local level are deposited with local authority archive services.  There are also five ‘community archives’ managed by volunteer editors. 

The United Reformed Church was established in 1972, with its roots in the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches. The search for a new location for the centralised deposit and permanent preservation of URC records is a key objective for this post-holder, along with developing and supporting the management of current administrative records. 

Both organisations maintain offsite record storage and occasional travel to them will be a necessary part of this role.

Summary

The National Safeguarding Team provides professional safeguarding advice to the Church of England on matters of national policy as part of its wider transformation plan, which includes the development and implementation of national policy, training, quality assurance and audit, and work with survivors. The national safeguarding team also leads complex casework and supports dioceses in their safeguarding of children and adults.

An investigation by the Independent Inquiry Child Sexual Abuse conducted in 2019 has highlighted some areas for improvement in the Church of England Safeguarding Structure and Practices. This investigation reviewed the extent to which the Church of England and the Church in Wales protected children from sexual abuse in the past. It also examined the effectiveness of current safeguarding arrangements. A public hearing on these specific areas was held in 2019. The report, published in 2020, also drew on the previous two case studies on the Anglican Church, which related to the Diocese of Chichester and Peter Ball. In addition to recommendations made in the case studies, IICSA made eight recommendations in this report, covering areas such as clergy discipline, information-sharing and support for victims and survivors.

The Redress Scheme project is part of the Church of England's Safeguarding Programme, which aims to embed structure, quality assurance and continuous improvement in line with its Safeguarding principles. Following the Church of England's recently approval of a comprehensive redress scheme for survivors of Church-related abuse, the project is now moving into the implementation phase, and we are looking for a new member of the team to help us prepare for the opening the Scheme.

The role will work with multiple NCI departments involving, for example, HR & Payroll, Finance & Resources, Legal, among many others as well as Safeguarding Bishops and Safeguarding teams of the Church of England in support to the mission of the Church of England and this Programme's in particular, as well as external stakeholders, including the media.

To assist this project, there is a requirement for a Comms & Engagement Manager role to be performed by a specialist with relevant experience and expertise. The role will be primarily focused on communications and media, with an emphasis on working under public scrutiny.

The purpose of this role is to lead on influencing and enabling effective communications relationships at national level to effectively roll out the delivery of the Redress Scheme, playing a key role in this high-profile project, and to act as a representative of the organisation with a detailed knowledge of the project's history and objectives.

The Southeast and East Asian Centre (SEEAC) is a community-led CIC supporting East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) migrants and refugees in the UK. We work to build an equitable society where ESEA communities thrive.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead our programme team, deliver high-impact community services and advocacy projects, and strengthen partnerships across the sector. This role is central to coordinating multiple projects, managing staff, developing proposals, overseeing budgets, ensuring monitoring and evaluation, and representing SEEAC publicly with partners, media and stakeholders. The post works closely with the Executive Director and Partnership Development Manager, including on fundraising.

About you:
You bring 5+ years’ experience leading programme design, delivery, monitoring and reporting plus people management experience and strong communication, organisational and financial skills. You are confident engaging with diverse communities, funders and public audiences, and committed to safeguarding and data protection. Knowledge of issues affecting migrants and refugees (e.g., employment rights, discrimination, health inequality) and strong writing skills are essential. Experience with ESEA communities or other minoritised groups is highly desirable, as is lived experience of migration-related issues.

Key Responsibilities 

Sub-Granting Operations and Process Management 

• Manage the full lifecycle of sub-grants, from the ‘request for proposal’ stage through to Chapter, or partner selection and contracting, reporting and closure. 

• Maintain oversight of all sub-granting timelines, documentation, and deliverables. 

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and funder requirements throughout the sub-granting cycle. 

• Provide administrative and logistical support for the sub-granting process, including database and document management. 

Chapter and Partner Due Diligence, Contracting 

• Lead and coordinate Chapter or sub-grant partner due diligence assessments in line with organisational standards. 

• Support risk mitigation planning and maintain up-to-date due diligence records. 

• Prepare and process partner contracts (sub-grant agreements) and amendments, timely signatures and filing. 

• Work with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with financial and contractual obligations. 

Chapter and Partner Reporting and Oversight 

• Monitor sub-grantee narrative and financial reporting, ensuring submissions are timely, accurate and compliant. 

• Review reports (budgets, deliverables, and impact metrics) and coordinate internal validation processes with all relevant teams. 

• Support partners to strengthen their reporting capacity and understanding of grant requirements. 

Partner Capacity Development 

• Support the design and implementation of partner capacity development plans.

Coordination and Communication

Person Specification 

Essential Qualifications and Experience 

• Significant experience in partnership management, grant administration, or programme coordination within the NGO or international development sector. 

• Demonstrable experience in managing sub-granting processes and partner relationships. 

• Strong understanding of UK charity regulations, including fundraising standards and data protection. 

• Knowledge of due diligence, risk assessment, and donor compliance requirements. 

• Experience reviewing financial and narrative reports from partners.

About the role:

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that works flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. Our growing portfolio includes flagship projects tackling challenges such as inclusive EV charging infrastructure, complex community transport needs, and large-scale research like the National Centre for Accessible Transport.

We are now recruiting for three Transport Solutions Managers, one permanent position and two 24 month fixed-term contracts. These roles will lead the design and delivery of high-impact work focused primarily on accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging – a key priority for the Foundation. This is a pivotal role that combines technical understanding, programme delivery, and stakeholder leadership, and is designed to work flexibly across our matrix structure.

While your core focus will be on EV charging, you also may be expected to lead and/or contribute to other transport projects across the transport themes.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose-led team driving change in the transport system for disabled people, and to work on some of the most complex and impactful projects in the sector.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the design and delivery of accessible EV charging initiatives, working closely with Programme Directors and partners across government, industry and the charity sector.
• Scope, commission and manage projects related to EV charging – such as pilots, commercial partnerships, research studies or funding opportunities – ensuring alignment to strategic priorities.
• Bring technical and market understanding of EV charging (e.g. standards, installation, interoperability, user experience, accessibility requirements) to shape the Foundation’s approach in this space.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of specific initiatives, including planning, budgeting, due diligence, contracting, risk management, and governance reporting.
• Use insight, evidence and stakeholder engagement to shape new programmes of work and ensure delivery reflects the needs of disabled people.
• Work flexibly across our matrix team, contributing to projects or funding rounds outside your own portfolio as needed, and supporting colleagues with specialist input or delivery resource.
• Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including OZEV, DfT, BSI, chargepoint operators, local authorities, disability organisations and industry experts.
• Collaborate across the Foundation, including with the Insight & Evaluation, Finance and Communications teams, to ensure high-quality delivery, learning and visibility of our work.
• Bring and apply knowledge in key areas as accessible transport, disability, inclusive innovation, grant making or systems change.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of our delivery models, funding mechanisms and ways of working.

Your experience:

Must haves:

• Experience managing complex projects, ideally in EV charging, transport, or energy sectors.
• Ability to translate technical or policy insight (e.g. standards, user experience, accessibility, or engineering considerations) into practical delivery and funding approaches.
• Experience managing projects or funding opportunities from inception through to delivery, ideally across multiple partners or suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across government, industry, and the charity sector.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to deliver multiple, complex workstreams to deadlines.
• Strong analytical capability, able to interpret data, research and qualitative insight to inform recommendations and decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports, business cases, and presentations for senior audiences.
• Confident IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).

• Understanding of EV charging systems, standards (e.g. PAS 1899), and market dynamics.
