The Events & Entertainments Lead will play a key role in making this vision a reality. You’ll oversee events and entertainment coordinators working on specific projects, ensuring events are well-planned, properly funded, safe, and accessible to all. At the same time, you’ll work with the wider team to design bold, creative, and inclusive experiences — from accessibility-led escape rooms to sensory events, to interactive challenges inspired by shows like The Traitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and support Events & Entertainments Coordinators delivering specific projects.

• Ensure all events are effectively planned and funded, including managing:

• Work with the wider Events, Entertainments & Challenges team to design new, engaging opportunities for supporters.

Bi Pride UK’s mission is to create spaces where people who experience attraction beyond gender can be freely visible and celebrate themselves and their identities. It’s not enough to be ‘welcome’ at Pride. We make up a very large proportion of the queer community – the 2021 Census actually shows we’re half of the community – and we deserve to be visible and celebrated in our own right.

There are many ways to make this happen, and we work in many ways to bring this change about:

• Outreach work with other Prides, LGBTQ+ organisations and bi organisations – our consultation work with local Prides, the UK Pride Organisers Network and local and national LGBTQ+ organisations works in a tailored way to make sure that bi-inclusion is a top priority and is being done well
• Organising a high-profile annual Bi Pride event – from September 2019, Bi Pride UK made history with the largest ever gathering of bi people recorded. A performance stage, a panel stage, stall village, street food, and over 1,300 attendees. After going virtual with the BiFi Festival for 2020 due to Covid-19 and running a virtual Pride event in 2021, we came back in person in 2022 with a hybrid event, and have been running the event in this format ever since
• Building a strong online and virtual community – just as important as the rest of our work is making sure that people hear about it! People need to know what resources and spaces exist for them, and how they can connect with other people like them

The role:

We are looking for a volunteer to lead our Fundraising team, a team which we envision comprising volunteers managing grants fundraising, corporate fundraising and community fundraising. At present we don’t yet have any volunteers working specifically on fundraising, making this an exciting opportunity to take on a new challenge of building up a crucial team of fundraisers enabling us to deliver our charitable work.

Our income streams at present have some healthy diversity, including corporate sponsorship, income from delivering training and consultation work, regular and one-off individual giving, merchandise sales, event revenue and other miscellaneous sources. We are particularly keen to increase our grants income from trusts and foundations and plan to bring in volunteer capacity and skills to allow us to develop this area.

The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for leading the direction of this team, thinking strategically about how to maximise income and recruiting and managing the volunteers who will lead on the different fundraising areas. Their first priority will be to begin to build a team of volunteers to support with fundraising activities, supported by Bi Pride UK’s Volunteer Management team.

Once the team has been built up, day-to-day responsibilities of the Head will include:

• Chairing regular fundraising team meetings;
• Working with the Chair and the Fundraising Trustee to set achievable fundraising targets for the team;
• Maintaining relationships with existing corporate partners and cultivating new relationships in line with Bi Pride UK’s values;
• Supporting other teams within Bi Pride UK to explore income generating opportunities in their own work.

The Head of Fundraising will have three primary objectives:

1. Expanding income from trusts and foundations;
2. Stewarding existing and new corporate relationships;
3. Facilitating other teams to increase income for Bi Pride UK.

Our team volunteers remotely from anywhere in the UK, with some travel required occasionally (primarily for our flagship Pride event in London in September). Our Trustees and Heads meetings take place via conference call on the third Monday evening of every month. All reasonable expenses incurred are reimbursed, including travel, lunch at away days and other all day events, and some childcare costs if required.

Our charity delivers counselling and therapeutic groups for women across Sussex. We are looking for an experienced communications professional to work with to support with all or some of the following:

· Help to create a communications plan with the CEO, mapping out key activities and campaigns over the year

As a Volunteer Outreach Coordinator with Living Reasons, you will play a key role in connecting people and communities with our mission. This remote role focuses on finding creative and innovative ways to engage new supporters, build partnerships with local businesses, and strengthen community links. What is the plan?

The person who is starting the charity up is autistic, has ADHD, CPTSD and also multiple physical conditions that effect daily life and is part of the LGBTQ+ community and has faced a lot of issues in life because of these things.

Living Reasons is being created to fix what we think is a challenging situation that is getting harder to achieve every week, month and year in the current economic, political, environmental and societal landscape. It is not easily defined but we hope the charity objects below will help put context to what we want to achieve, what we can say is that below are the issues we are trying to address, how we do this will change as quickly as society does, but the issues we want to tackle are these:

About the role

As our first Chair, you’ll help shape the strategic direction of this charity at a pivotal moment. You’ll lead our Board, guide the integration of two foundations, and provide high-level oversight on finance, governance, and risk. Unseen Expeditions UK is a newly forming Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) supporting mission-led charities and expedition projects across the UK and internationally. The Professional Development Programme with Quilombo UK and QMC Capoeira School runs over a period of 16 weeks, is UNPAID and requires a minimum of 12 hours commitment per week across Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday.

Upon successful application, our HR team will contact you to arrange an interview. Following a successful interview, we'll initiate the onboarding process by sending you the necessary documents. The University Coordinator role exists to help bridge the gap between our central and regional teams. This mentorship-focused position involves working 1:1 with regional team leads, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support as they build their teams and deliver impactful fundraising and awareness raising campaigns on campus. Working collaboratively, you’ll help them pursue ambitious goals while ensuring their work reflects SolidariTee’s values and vision. This role requires reliable commitment to 2-3h of calls per week and willingness to provide additional support to team leads outside of weekly calls.

Key responsibilities: 

• Work closely with team leads from 4–6 regional teams through weekly calls and ongoing support.
• Provide practical support and advice in organising events and building each team. 
• Assist with recruitment by conducting interviews with prospective team leads. 
• Engage in training and development opportunities designed to support you in the role.

Desirable Criteria:

• Strong time management and organisational skills, ensuring reliability and follow-through on commitments. 
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others to problem-solve, alongside the initiative to seek out answers independently. 
• An understanding of the values and vision of SolidariTee. 
• Experience in project management or active involvement in a university society or similar initiative.

Emerge Worldwide exists to protect children, young people, and women from sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. Through education, training, and advocacy, we equip communities, schools, and professionals with the knowledge and tools to prevent exploitation and safeguard the most vulnerable.

The Role

As an Education Team Volunteer, you will:

• Deliver training and awareness workshops in schools, youth groups, and community settings.

• Assist in designing engaging resources such as toolkits, handouts, and presentations.
